2 Tesalonicenses 1

1 Pablo, Silvano y Timoteo, a la iglesia de los tesalonicenses en Dios nuestro Padre y en el Señor Jesucristo:

Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, to the assembly of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah:

2 Gracia y paz ustedes de parte de Dios el Padre y del Señor Jesucristo.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah.

3 Es correcto que alabemos a Dios en todo momento por ustedes, hermanos, por el gran aumento de su fe y la riqueza y el amor de todos que abunda mutuamente para los demás;

We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you towards one another abounds,

4 Para que nosotros mismos nos gloriamos de ustedes en las iglesias de Dios por paciencia y su fe en todos los problemas y tristezas por los que está pasando;

so that we ourselves boast about you in the assemblies of God for your perseverance and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which you endure.

5 Que es una clara señal de la decisión que Dios en su justicia ha hecho; para darles parte en su reino, por el cual han sufrido este dolor;

This is an obvious sign of the righteous judgement of God, to the end that you may be counted worthy of God’s Kingdom, for which you also suffer.

6 Porque es un acto de justicia por parte de Dios dar problemas como recompensa a aquellos que los molestan,

For it is a righteous thing with God to repay affliction to those who afflict you,

7 Y ustedes que están atribulados, descanse con nosotros, cuando el Señor Jesús venga del cielo con los ángeles de su poder en llamas de fuego,

and to give relief to you who are afflicted with us when the Lord Yeshua is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,

8 Para dar castigo a los que no conocen a Dios, y a los que no obedecen el evangelio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo:

punishing those who don’t know God, and to those who don’t obey the Good News of our Lord Yeshua,

9 Cuya recompensa será la destrucción eterna de la presencia del Señor y de la gloria de su poder, (aiōnios g166)

who will pay the penalty: eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might, (aiōnios g166)

10 A su venida, cuando él tendrá gloria en sus santos, y será motivo de asombro en todos aquellos que tuvieron fe (porque nuestro testimonio entre ustedes tuvo efecto) en ese día.

when he comes in that day to be glorified in his holy ones and to be admired amongst all those who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.

11 Por esta razón, siempre están en nuestras oraciones, para que nuestro Dios los tenga dignos de su llamamiento y por su poder hará que todos sus buenos propósitos y la obra de fe se completen;

To this end we also pray always for you that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfil every desire of goodness and work of faith with power,

12 Para que el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesús sea glorificado a través de ustedes, y puedan gloriarse en él, por la gracia de nuestro Dios y del Señor Jesucristo.

that the name of our Lord Yeshua may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
