2 Reyes 7

1 Entonces Eliseo dijo: Presta atención a la palabra del Señor: el Señor dice: Mañana, a esta hora, se ofrecerá una medida de harina por el precio de un siclo y dos medidas de cebada por un siclo, en la plaza del mercado de samaria.

And he said Elisha hear [the] word of Yahweh thus - he says Yahweh about this time - tomorrow a seah of fine flour for a shekel and two seahs barley for a shekel at [the] gate of Samaria.

2 Entonces el capitán ayudante personal del rey le dijo al hombre de Dios: Aunque el Señor hiciera ventanas en el cielo, ¿sería eso posible? Y él dijo: Tus ojos lo verán, pero no tendrás un sabor de la comida.

And he answered the officer who [belonged] to the king [who] was leaning on hand his [the] man of God and he said here! Yahweh [is] making windows in the heavens ¿ will it happen the thing this and he said here you [are] about to see with own eyes your and from there not you will eat.

3 Ahora había cuatro leprosos sentados en la entrada del pueblo, y se dijeron unos a otros: ¿Por qué esperamos aquí la muerte?

And four men they were [people] having a skin disease [the] entrance of the gate and they said each to neighbor his why? [are] we sitting here until we have died.

4 Si decimos: Vamos a la ciudad, no hay comida en la ciudad, y llegaremos a nuestro fin allí; Y si seguimos esperando aquí, la muerte vendrá a nosotros. Ven, pues, entreguémonos al ejército de Siria; si nos dejan seguir viviendo, entonces la vida será nuestra; y si nos matan, la muerte será nuestra.

If we said we will enter the city and the famine [is] in the city and we will die there and if we sat here and we will die and therefore come so let us fall to [the] camp of Aram if they will let live us we will live and if they will put to death us and we will die.

5 Entonces en la penumbra se levantaron para ir a las tiendas de campaña de Siria; pero cuando llegaron a la línea exterior de las tiendas, no había nadie allí.

And they arose at twilight to go to [the] camp of Aram and they came to [the] edge of [the] camp of Aram and there! there not there [was] anyone.

6 Porque el SEÑOR había hecho sonar los carros y los caballos, y el ruido de un gran ejército, a los oídos de los sirios, de modo que se decían unos a otros: En verdad, el rey de Israel ha recibido el reyes de los hititas y de los egipcios por un precio para atacarnos.

And [the] Lord he had caused to hear - [the] camp of Aram a sound of chariotry a sound of horse[s] a sound of an army large and they said each to brother his here! he has hired on us [the] king of Israel [the] kings of the Hittites and [the] kings of Egypt to come on us.

7 Entonces se levantaron y salieron en vuelo, en la penumbra, sin sus tiendas de campaña o sus caballos o sus asnos o cualquiera de sus bienes; Salieron en vuelo, temiendo por sus vidas.

And they arose and they fled at twilight and they abandoned tents their and horses their and donkeys their the camp [was] just as it [was] and they fled to life their.

8 Y cuando los leprosos llegaron a la línea exterior del campamento, entraron en una tienda, comieron y bebieron, y tomaron de ella plata, oro y ropa, que pusieron en un lugar secreto; luego volvieron y se fueron a otra tienda de la cual tomaron más bienes, que guardaron en un lugar secreto.

And they came the [people] having a skin disease these to [the] edge of the camp and they went into a tent one and they ate and they drank and they carried off from there silver and gold and clothes and they went and they hid [them] and they returned and they went into a tent another and they carried off [things] from there and they went and they hid [them].

9 Entonces se dijeron unos a otros: No estamos haciendo lo correcto. Hoy es un día de buenas noticias, y no decimos nada: si seguimos esperando aquí hasta la mañana, nos llegará el castigo. Así que vamos y demos la noticia a los de la casa del rey.

And they said each to neighbor his not right - we [are] doing the day this [is] a day of good news it and we [are] silent and we will delay until [the] light of the morning and it will find us punishment and therefore come so let us go and let us tell [the] household of the king.

10 Entonces entraron y, gritando a los guardianes de las puertas del pueblo, les dieron la noticia, diciendo: Vinimos a las tiendas de campaña de los sirios, y no había nadie allí ni voz de Hombre, solo los caballos y los asnos en sus lugares, y los campamentos intactos.

And they went and they called out to [the] gatekeeper of the city and they told to them saying we went into [the] camp of Aram and there! there not there [was] anyone and [the] sound of anyone that except the horse[s] tied up and the donkey[s] tied up and tents [are] just as they [were].

11 Entonces los encargados de las puertas, gritando, dieron la noticia a los que estaban dentro de la casa del rey.

And he called out the gatekeepers and they told [the] household of the king within.

12 Entonces el rey se levantó en la noche y dijo a sus siervos: Esta es mi idea de lo que los sirios nos han hecho. Ellos saben que estamos sin comida; y así han salido de sus tiendas, y están esperando escondidos en el campo abierto, diciendo: Cuando salgan de la ciudad, los llevaremos vivos y entraremos en la ciudad.

And he arose the king night and he said to servants his let me tell please to you [that] which they have done to us Aram they know that [are] hungry we and they have gone out from the camp to hide themselves (in open country *Q(K)*) saying that they will come out from the city and we will seize them alive and into the city we will go.

13 Respondió uno de sus siervos: Envía a los hombres y que tomen cinco de los caballos que todavía tenemos en la ciudad; si mantienen sus vidas serán iguales a los de Israel que aún viven aquí; si llegan a su muerte, serán iguales a todos los de Israel que han ido a la destrucción: enviemos y veamos.

And he answered one from servants his and he said and they may take please five of the horses remaining which they are left in it here they [will be] like all ([the] multitude of *Q(K)*) Israel which they are left in it here they [will be] like all [the] multitude of Israel which they have come to an end and let us send and we may see.

14 Entonces tomaron dos jinetes; Y el rey los envió tras el ejército de los sirios, diciendo: Vayan y vean.

And people took two chariot[s] horses and he sent [them] the king after [the] camp of Aram saying go and see.

15 Y fueron tras ellos hasta el Jordán; y todo el camino estaba cubierto con ropa y embarcaciones que los sirios dejaron caer en su vuelo. Así que los que fueron enviados regresaron y dieron la noticia al rey.

And they went after them to the Jordan and there! all the road [was] full clothes and equipment which they had thrown away Aram (in hurrying of them *Q(K)*) and they returned the messengers and they told to the king.

16 Entonces la gente salió y tomó los bienes de las tiendas de los sirios. Así que se tenía que tomar una buena cantidad de harina por el precio de un siclo, y dos medidas de cebada por un siclo, como el Señor había dicho.

And it went out the people and they plundered [the] camp of Aram and it was a seah of fine flour for a shekel and two seahs barley for a shekel according to [the] word of Yahweh.

17 Y el rey le dio autoridad a ese capitán, cuyo era de su confianza, para tener control sobre la entrada a la ciudad; pero fue aplastado hasta la muerte allí bajo los pies de la gente, como había dicho el hombre de Dios cuando el rey descendió a él.

And the king he appointed the officer who [was] leaning on hand his over the gate and they trampled him the people in the gate and he died just as he had spoken [the] man of God who he spoke when came down the king to him.

18 Entonces se cumplieron las palabras del hombre de Dios, que dijo al rey: Se ofrecerán dos medidas de cebada por el precio de un siclo y una medida de harina por un siclo, mañana más o menos a esta hora. En la plaza del mercado de Samaria.

And it was as had spoken [the] man of God to the king saying two seahs barley for a shekel and a seah of fine flour for a shekel it will be about this time tomorrow in [the] gate of Samaria.

19 Y aquel capitán dijo al hombre de Dios: Aunque el Señor hiciera ventanas en el cielo, ¿sería eso posible? Y él le dijo: Tus ojos lo verán, pero no tendrás un sabor de la comida.

And he had answered the officer [the] man of God and he said and here! Yahweh [is] making windows in the heavens ¿ will it happen according to the manner this and he said here you [are] about to see with own eyes your and from there not you will eat.

20 Y tal fue su destino; porque fue aplastado hasta la muerte bajo los pies de la gente, en la puerta de entrada a la ciudad.

And it happened to him thus and they trampled him the people in the gate and he died.
