2 Reyes 16

1 En el año diecisiete de Peka, hijo de Remalías, Acaz, hijo de Jotam, se convirtió en rey de Judá.

In year seven-teen year of Pekah [the] son of Remaliah he became king Ahaz [the] son of Jotham [the] king of Judah.

2 Acaz tenía veinte años cuando comenzó a reinar; Él gobernó durante dieciséis años en Jerusalén. No hizo lo que era correcto a los ojos del Señor su Dios, como lo hizo David su padre.

[was] a son of Twenty year[s] Ahaz when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and not he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh God his like David ancestor his.

3 Pero él siguió los caminos de los reyes de Israel, e incluso hizo quemar a su hijo en sacrificio al fuego, copiando los asquerosos caminos de las naciones que el Señor había arrojado de delante de los hijos de Israel.

And he walked in [the] way of [the] kings of Israel and also son his he made pass in the fire according to [the] abominations of the nations which he had dispossessed Yahweh them from before [the] people of Israel.

4 E hizo sacrificios, y quemó incienso en los lugares altos, en las colinas y debajo de cada árbol verde.

And he sacrificed and he made smoke at the high places and on the hills and under every tree luxuriant.

5 Entonces Rezín, rey de Siria, y Peka, hijo de Remalías, rey de Israel, subieron a Jerusalén para hacer la guerra; e hicieron un ataque a Acaz, sitiando, pero no pudieron vencerlo.

Then he came up Rezin [the] king of Aram and Pekah [the] son of Remaliah [the] king of Israel Jerusalem for battle and they laid siege on Ahaz and not they were able to do battle.

6 En ese momento, el rey de Edom trajo a Elat de vuelta para Edom, y envió a los judíos de Elat; y los edomitas volvieron a Elat, donde viven hasta el día de hoy.

At the time that he restored Rezin [the] king of Aram Elath to Aram and he cleared out the Jews from Elath (and Edomites *Q(K)*) they came Elath and they have dwelt there until the day this.

7 Entonces Acaz envió representantes a Tiglath-pileser, rey de Asiria, diciendo: Yo soy tu siervo y tu hijo; ven en mi ayuda contra los reyes de Siria de Israel que han tomado las armas contra mí.

And he sent Ahaz messengers to Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria saying [am] servant your and son your I come up and deliver me from [the] hand of [the] king of Aram and from [the] hand of [the] king of Israel who are rising up on me.

8 Acaz tomó la plata y el oro que estaban en la casa del Señor y en el almacén del rey, y los envió como ofrenda al rey de Asiria.

And he took Ahaz the silver and the gold which was found [the] house of Yahweh and in [the] treasuries of [the] house of the king and he sent [it] to [the] king of Assyria a gift.

9 Y el rey de Asiria, en respuesta a su petición, subió a Damasco y la tomó, y se llevó a su pueblo como prisioneros a Kir, y mató a Rezín.

And he listened to him [the] king of Assyria and he came up [the] king of Assyria to Damascus and he seized it and he took into exile it Kir towards and Rezin he put to death.

10 Entonces el rey Acaz fue a Damasco para reunirse con Tiglath-pileser, rey de Asiria; y allí vio el altar que estaba en Damasco; y el rey Acaz envió al sacerdote Urías una copia del altar, dando el diseño del mismo y todos los detalles de su estructura.

And he went the king Ahaz to meet Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria Damascus and he saw the altar which [was] in Damascus and he sent the king Ahaz to Uriah the priest [the] likeness of the altar and pattern its for all work its.

11 De la copia que el rey Acaz envió desde Damasco, Urías hizo un altar y lo tenía listo para cuando el rey Acaz regresó de Damasco.

And he built Uriah the priest the altar according to all that he had sent the king Ahaz from Damascus so he did Uriah the priest until came the king Ahaz from Damascus.

12 Cuando el rey vino de Damasco, vio el altar; y subió sobre él y le hizo una ofrenda.

And he came the king from Damascus and he saw the king the altar and he drew near the king to the altar and he offered up on it.

13 Hizo su ofrenda quemada y su ofrenda de cereales y su ofrenda de bebida allí, drenando la sangre de sus ofrendas de paz sobre el altar.

And he made smoke burnt offering his and grain offering his and he poured out drink offering his and he sprinkled [the] blood of the peace offerings which [belonged] to him on the altar.

14 Y el altar de bronce, que estaba delante del Señor, lo tomó del frente de la casa, de entre su altar y la casa del Señor, y lo puso en el lado norte de su altar.

And the altar of bronze which [was] before Yahweh and he brought near from with [the] face of the house from between the altar and from between [the] house of Yahweh and he put it on [the] side of the altar north-ward.

15 Y el rey Acaz dio órdenes al sacerdote Urías, diciendo: Haz la ofrenda quemada de la mañana y la ofrenda de la tarde y la ofrenda quemada del rey y la ofrenda de cereales, con las ofrendas quemadas de todo el pueblo y sus ofrendas de cereales y bebida, ofrendas sobre el altar mayor, y pon sobre él toda la sangre de las ofrendas quemadas y de las bestias que se ofrecen; pero el altar de bronce será para mi uso para obtener instrucciones del Señor.

(And he commanded *Q(K)*) the king Ahaz Uriah the priest saying on the altar great make smoke [the] burnt offering of the morning and [the] grain offering of the evening and [the] burnt offering of the king and grain offering his and [the] burnt offering of all [the] people of the land and grain offering their and drink offerings their and all [the] blood of [the] burnt offering and all [the] blood of [the] sacrifice on it you will sprinkle and [the] altar of bronze it will belong to me to consult.

16 Entonces el sacerdote Urías hizo todo lo que el rey Acaz dijo.

And he did Uriah the priest according to all that he commanded the king Ahaz.

17 Y el rey Acaz quitó los costados de las bases con ruedas, y sacó la gran vasija de agua de los bueyes de bronce que estaban debajo de ella y la puso sobre un suelo de piedra.

And he cut off the king Ahaz the rims of the stands and he removed from on them (*Q(K)*) the laver and the sea he took down from on the ox[en] the bronze which [were] under it and he put it on a pavement of stone.

18 Y quito el pórtico de la casa del Señor, para él día de reposo y la puerta reservada al rey; para complacer al rey de Asiria.

And ([the] covered structure of *Q(K)*) the sabbath which people had built in the house and [the] entrance of the king outer he removed [the] house of Yahweh because of [the] king of Assyria.

19 Ahora bien, el resto de las cosas que hizo Acaz, ¿no están registradas en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá?

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Ahaz which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.

20 Y Acaz durmió con sus padres, y fue enterrado con sus padres en el pueblo de David; y Ezequías su hijo se convirtió en rey en su lugar.

And he lay down Ahaz with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David and he became king Hezekiah son his in place of him.
