2 Corintios 8

1 Y ahora les damos noticias, hermanos, acerca de la gracia de Dios que se ha dado a las iglesias de Macedonia;

But, britheren, we maken knowun to you the grace of God, that is youun in the chirchis of Macedonye,

2 Mientras estaban pasando por todo tipo de problemas, y estaban en la mayor necesidad, se tomaron la mayor alegría de poder dar libremente a las necesidades de los demás.

that in myche asaiyng of tribulacioun, the plente of the ioye of hem was, and the hiyeste pouert of hem was plenteuouse `in to the richessis of the symplenesse of hem.

3 Porque les doy testimonio de que pudieron dar, y aún más de lo que pudieron, de todo corazón de su propia iniciativa,

For Y bere witnessyng to hem, aftir miyt and aboue miyt thei weren wilful,

4 Rogándonos que pudieran participar en este privilegio de servir y apoyar en las necesidades de los santos:

with myche monestyng bisechynge vs the grace and the comynyng of mynystring, that is maad to hooli men.

5 Y yendo más lejos que nuestra esperanza, primero se entregaron al Señor y a nosotros según el propósito de Dios.

And not as we hopiden, but thei yauen hem silf first to the Lord, aftirward to vs bi the wille of God.

6 De modo que pedimos a Tito que, como había comenzado antes, así él podría completar está colecta entre ustedes.

So that we preyeden Tite, that as he bigan, so also he performe in you this grace.

7 Y que como están llenos de todo lo bueno, de fe, de la palabra, de conocimiento, de una mente dispuesta, y de amor para nosotros, así puedan sobresalir en está obra de caridad.

But as ye abounden in alle thingis, in feith, and word, and kunnyng, and al bisynesse, more ouer and in youre charite in to vs, that and in this grace ye abounden.

8 No te estoy dando una orden, sino usando la mente dispuesta de los demás como una prueba de la sinceridad de su amor.

Y seie not as comaundinge, but bi the bisynesse of othere men appreuynge also the good wit of youre charite.

9 Porque tú ves la gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que aunque tuvo riquezas, se hizo pobre por ustedes, para que por su pobreza tengas riquezas.

And ye witen the grace of oure Lord Jhesu Crist, for he was maad nedi for you, whanne he was riche, that ye schulden be maad riche bi his nedynesse.

10 Y en esto doy mi opinión: ya que es para su beneficio, quienes fueron los primeros en comenzar el año anterior, no solo para hacer esto, sino para dejar en claro que sus mentes estaban más que dispuestas a hacerlo.

And Y yyue counsel in this thing; for this is profitable to you, that not oneli han bigunne to do, but also ye bigunnen to haue wille fro the formere yere.

11 Ahora haz que se complete; con la misma disposición que mostraron al principio, cuando decidieron hacerlo.

But now parfourme ye in deed, that as the discrecioun of wille is redi, so be it also of parformyng of that that ye han.

12 Porque si hay una mente dispuesta, un hombre tendrá la aprobación de Dios en la medida de lo que tiene, y no de lo que no tiene.

For if the wille be redi, it is acceptid aftir that that it hath, not aftir that that it hath not.

13 Y no estoy diciendo esto para que otros puedan liberarse de esta carga, mientras que el peso recae sobre ustedes:

And not that it be remyssioun to othere men, and to you tribulacioun;

14 Pero para que las cosas sean iguales; que en este tiempo de abundancia sobre ustedes, puedan suplir su necesidad, y que la abundancia de ellos supla la necesidad de ustedes de la misma manera, haciendo las cosas iguales.

but of euenesse in the present tyme youre aboundance fulfille the myseese of hem, that also the aboundaunce of hem be a fulfillynge of youre myseise, that euenesse be maad; as it is writun,

15 Como se dice en la Escritura, el que había recogió mucho, no tuvo más y el que recogió poco, no tuvo escasez.

He that gaderide myche, was not encresid, and he that gaderide litil, hadde not lesse.

16 Pero alabado sea Dios, que pone la misma preocupación que yo tengo por ustedes en el corazón de Tito.

And Y do thankyngis to God, that yaf the same bisynesse for you in the herte of Tite,

17 Mientras que de buena gana prestó oído a nuestra petición, estaba lo suficientemente interesado en ir a ustedes de su propia voluntad.

for he resseyuede exortacioun; but whanne he was bisier, bi his wille he wente forth to you.

18 Y con él hemos enviado un hermano cuya alabanza en las buenas nuevas ha pasado por todas las iglesias;

And we senten with hym a brother, whose preisyng is in the gospel bi alle chirchis.

19 Y no solo eso, sino que fue escogido por las iglesias para ir con nosotros en este acto de caridad, que es administrado por nosotros que hemos emprendido para la gloria del Señor y para dejar en claro su buena voluntad para dar:

And not oneli, but also he is ordeyned of chirchis the felowe of oure pilgrimage in to this grace, that is mynystrid of vs to the glorie of the Lord, and to oure ordeyned wille;

20 Y para que ningún hombre pueda decirnos algo en contra de nosotros en la administración de esta gran ofrenda que ha sido puesta en nuestras manos:

eschewynge this thing, that no man blame vs in this plente, that is mynystrid of vs to the glorye of the Lord.

21 Y por eso procuramos hacer lo bueno y honesto para tener la aprobación, no solo del Señor, sino de los hombres.

For we purueyen good thingis, not onely bifor God, but also bifor alle men.

22 Y hemos enviado con ellos a nuestro hermano, cuyo entusiasmo de espíritu nos ha sido aclarado a veces y en innumerables momentos, pero ahora lo es aún más debido a la cierta fe que él tiene en ustedes.

For we senten with hem also oure brothir, whom we han preued in many thingis ofte, that he was bisi, but nowe myche bisier, for myche trist in you,

23 Si surge alguna pregunta sobre Tito, él es mi hermano trabajador, que trabaja conmigo para ustedes o sobre los otros, ellos son los representantes de las iglesias para la gloria de Cristo.

ethir for Tite, that is my felowe and helpere in you, ethir for oure britheren, apostlis of the chirches of the glorie of Crist.

24 Hazles claro a ellos, como representantes de las iglesias, muéstrales que verdaderamente los aman y que tenemos razón al estar satisfechos de ustedes.

Therfor schewe ye in to hem in the face of chirchis, that schewynge that is of youre charite and of oure glorie for you.
