2 Corintios 6
1 Entonces, trabajando juntos con Dios, les rogamos que no reciban la gracia de Dios en vano.
And we co-operating with Him do also exhort you that ye receive not the grace of God in vain:
2 Porque él dice: Te he escuchado en un buen momento, y he sido tu ayudante en día de salvación: mira, ahora es el buen momento, ahora es el día de salvación.
for He saith, "I have heard thee in an acceptable time, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee." Behold now is the acceptable time; behold now is the day of salvation.
3 No dando motivo a nadie, para ser piedra de tropiezo, para que nadie pueda decir nada en contra de nuestro trabajo;
We give no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
4 Pero en todo, dejando en claro que somos siervos de Dios, soportando con mucha paciencia en tribulaciones, en necesidad, dificultades, en tristeza,
but in every thing approving ourselves as the ministers of God; by much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in straits,
5 En golpes, en cárceles, en ataques, en trabajo duro, en vigilias, hambres;
in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in watchings, in fastings;
6 En un corazón limpio, en conocimiento de la verdad, por nuestra tolerancia y bondad del Espíritu Santo, por nuestro amor sincero,
by purity, by knowledge, by long-suffering, by kindness, by the holy Spirit,
7 Por nuestro mensaje de verdad, y por el poder de Dios en nosotros; usamos las armas de la rectitud, para él ataque como para la defensa.
by love unfeigned, by the word of truth, by the power of God, with the armour of righteousness on the right and on the left; through honor and dishonor,
8 Unas veces se nos honra y otras veces se nos ofende, y unas veces se habla bien de nosotros y otras veces se habla mal; nos tratan como mentirosos, a pesar de que decimos la verdad;
through evil report and good report;
9 Nos tratan como a desconocidos, a pesar de que somos bien conocidos; tan cerca de la muerte, pero aún vivos; sometidos al castigo, pero no nos matan.
as deceivers, and yet true; as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, but not put to death;
10 Parecemos tristes, pero siempre estamos alegres; como pobre, pero hemos enriquecido a muchos; parece que no tenemos nada, pero lo tenemos todo.
as sorrowing, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing all things.
11 Nuestra boca está abierta para ustedes, les hemos hablado con sinceridad, oh Corintios, nuestro corazón se ha ensanchado.
O Corinthians, our mouth is opened unto you, our heart is enlarged:
12 No son nuestros sentimientos hacia ti los más estrechos, sino ustedes para con nosotros.
ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.
13 Les ruego por lo tanto, como un padre ruega a sus hijos, que Sean sinceros conmigo, así como yo lo he sido con ustedes.
Now as a return of our love (I speak as to my children) be ye also enlarged towards us.
14 No se unan en un mismo yugo con los que no creen: porque ¿qué hay en común entre la justicia y el mal, o entre la luz y la oscuridad?
Be not unsuitably connected with infidels: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? or what communion hath light with darkness?
15 ¿Y qué acuerdo hay entre Cristo y el Maligno? o ¿qué parte el creyente con él incrédulo?
what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath a believer with an infidel?
16 ¿Y qué acuerdo tiene la casa de Dios con las imágenes? porque somos una casa del Dios viviente; como Dios dijo, viviré entre ellos y caminaré con ellos; y seré su Dios, y ellos serán mi pueblo.
and what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God: as God hath said, "I will dwell in them, and I will walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people."
17 Por lo cual, salgan de en medio de ellos, y apártense, dice el Señor, y no toquen nada impuro y yo los recibiré,
Wherefore, "come out from the midst of them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch no unclean thing," and I will receive you:
18 Y seré un Padre para ti; y ustedes serán mis hijos e hijas, dice el Señor, todo poderoso.
and I will be a father unto you, and ye shall be to me for sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
