2 Corintios 4
1 Por esta razón, viendo que se nos ha encargado este ministerio, por la misericordia que se nos ha dado, no nos desanimamos;
Therefore, having this ministry, as we have had mercy shewn us, we faint not.
2 Y hemos renunciado las cosas vergonzosas que se hacen en secreto, y no haciendo uso de la palabra de Dios con astucia y engaños; pero por la revelación de lo que es verdadero, y de esta manera nos recomendamos a la conciencia de todos delante de Dios.
But we have rejected the hidden things of shame, not walking in deceit, nor falsifying the word of God, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every conscience of men before God.
3 Pero si nuestro evangelio sigue con el velo; es oscuro, lo es solamente para los que se pierden:
But if also our gospel is veiled, it is veiled in those that are lost;
4 porque el dios de este mundo ha hecho cegar las mentes de los que no creen, de modo que la luz del evangelio de la gloria de Cristo, que es la imagen de Dios, no les resplandezca. (aiōn g165)
in whom the god of this world has blinded the thoughts of the unbelieving, so that the radiancy of the glad tidings of the glory of the Christ, who is [the] image of God, should not shine forth [for them]. (aiōn g165)
5 Porque nuestra predicación no es sobre nosotros mismos, sino acerca de Cristo Jesús como Señor, y de nosotros mismos como sus siervos por medio de Jesús.
For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus Lord, and ourselves your bondmen for Jesus' sake.
6 Al ver que es Dios quien dijo: “Que la luz brille de la oscuridad, es él que ha hecho brotar La Luz en nuestro corazón para la iluminación del conocimiento de la gloria de Dios en el rostro de Jesucristo”.
Because [it is] the God who spoke that out of darkness light should shine who has shone in our hearts for the shining forth of the knowledge of the glory of God in [the] face of [Jesus] Christ.
7 Pero tenemos este tesoro en vasos de tierra, para que se vea que la extraordinaria grandeza de poder no proviene de nosotros, sino De Dios.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassingness of the power may be of God, and not from us:
8 Nos atribulan por todos lados, pero no estamos angustiados; en apuros, mas no desesperados;
every way afflicted, but not straitened; seeing no apparent issue, but our way not entirely shut up;
9 Estamos cruelmente atacados, pero no desamparados; derribados, pero no destruidos;
persecuted, but not abandoned; cast down, but not destroyed;
10 En nuestros cuerpos siempre hay la marca de la muerte de Jesús, para que la vida de Jesús se manifieste también en nuestros cuerpos.
always bearing about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body;
11 Porque, mientras vivimos, todavía estamos siendo entregados a la muerte por causa de Jesús, para que la vida de Jesús se manifieste en nuestra carne mortal.
for we who live are always delivered unto death on account of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh;
12 Entonces, la muerte está trabajando en nosotros, pero la vida en ustedes.
so that death works in us, but life in you.
13 Pero teniendo el mismo espíritu de fe, como está dicho en las Escrituras, creí Por lo cual hable, de la misma manera, nosotros también creemos; por lo cual también hablamos,
And having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, I have believed, therefore have I spoken; we also believe, therefore also we speak;
14 Porque estamos seguros de que el que hizo al Señor Jesús resucitará de los muertos, hará lo mismo por nosotros, y nos presentará juntamente con ustedes.
knowing that he who has raised the Lord Jesus shall raise us also with Jesus, and shall present [us] with you.
15 Porque pasamos por todas las cosas por amor a ustedes, para que, siendo muchas las bendiciones de Dios, muchos Sean los que le den gracias para la gloria de Dios.
For all things [are] for your sakes, that the grace abounding through the many may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
16 Por lo cual; no desanimemos, pues aunque nuestro hombre exterior se está volviendo más débil, nuestro hombre interior se rejuvenece día tras día.
Wherefore we faint not; but if indeed our outward man is consumed, yet the inward is renewed day by day.
17 Porque nuestra leve aflicción actual, que es solo por un corto tiempo, produce en nosotros un cada vez más excelente y eterno peso de gloria; (aiōnios g166)
For our momentary [and] light affliction works for us in surpassing measure an eternal weight of glory; (aiōnios g166)
18 Aunque nuestras mentes no están en lo que se ve, sino en lo que no se ve; porque las cosas que se ven son pasajeras; pero las cosas que no se ven son eternas. (aiōnios g166)
while we look not at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen; for the things that are seen [are] for a time, but those that are not seen eternal. (aiōnios g166)
