2 Corintios 11

1 Ojalá que me toleren un poco de locura! pero, de verdad, tolérenme.

I wish that you would endure a small amount of my foolishness, so as to bear with me.

2 Porque tengo un gran celo por ustedes: porque es un celo santo pues los he desposado con un solo esposo, y quiero presentarlos como una virgen pura a Cristo.

For I am jealous toward you, with the jealousy of God. And I have espoused you to one husband, offering you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

3 Pero tengo miedo de que, de alguna manera, como Eva fue engañada por el engaño de la serpiente, sus mentes puedan ser apartadas de su amor simple y santo por Cristo.

But I am afraid lest, as the serpent led astray Eve by his cleverness, so your minds might be corrupted and might fall away from the simplicity which is in Christ.

4 Porque si alguno viene a predicar a otro Jesús de aquel cuyos predicadores somos, o si tienen un espíritu diferente, o una clase diferente de buenas nuevas de los que vinieron a ustedes, soportan con gusto estas cosas.

For if anyone arrives preaching another Christ, one whom we have not preached; or if you receive another Spirit, one whom you have not received; or another Gospel, one which you have not been given: you might permit him to guide you.

5 Porque en mi opinión, soy de ninguna manera menos que el más importante de los Apóstoles.

For I consider that I have done nothing less than the great Apostles.

6 Pero aunque soy rudo en mi manera de hablar, no lo soy en conocimiento, como hemos aclarado a todos por nuestros actos entre ustedes.

For although I may be unskilled in speech, yet I am not so in knowledge. But, in all things, we have been made manifest to you.

7 ¿O hice mal en humillarme para que puedan ser enaltecidos, porque les di las buenas nuevas de Dios sin cobrarles?

Or did I commit a sin by humbling myself so that you would be exalted? For I preached the Gospel of God to you freely.

8 He despojado de dinero a otras iglesias como pago por mi trabajo, para que yo pudiera servirlos a ustedes;

I have taken from other churches, receiving a stipend from them to the benefit of your ministry.

9 Y cuando estuve presente entre ustedes, y tuve necesidad, no dejé que ningún hombre fuera responsable de mí; porque los hermanos, cuando venían de Macedonia, me dieron todo lo que se necesitaba; y en todo, evité que fuera un problema para ustedes, y continuaré haciéndolo.

And when I was with you and in need, I was burdensome to no one. For the brothers who came from Macedonia supplied whatever was lacking to me. And in all things, I have kept myself, and I will keep myself, from being burdensome to you.

10 Como la verdadera palabra de Cristo está en mí, no dejaré que nadie me quite esta mi causa de orgullo en toda la región de Acaya.

The truth of Christ is in me, and so this glorying shall not be broken away from me in the regions of Achaia.

11 ¿Por qué porque no los amo? Dios sabe que si los quiero.

Why so? Is it because I do not love you? God knows I do.

12 Pero lo que hago, eso seguiré haciendo, para no dar oportunidad a aquellos que andan buscando pretexto para tener una satisfacción como la nuestra;

But what I am doing, I will continue to do, so that I may take away an opportunity from those who desire an opportunity by which they may glory, so as to be considered to be like us.

13 Porque tales hombres son falsos apóstoles, hacedores de engaño, haciéndose parecer apóstoles de Cristo.

For false apostles, such as these deceitful workers, are presenting themselves as if they were Apostles of Christ.

14 Y no es de extrañar; porque incluso Satanás mismo puede tomar la forma de un ángel de luz.

And no wonder, for even Satan presents himself as if he were an Angel of light.

15 Así que, no se extrañen si sus siervos se hacen parecer siervos de la justicia; cuyo fin será la recompensa de sus obras.

Therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers present themselves as if they were ministers of justice, for their end shall be according to their works.

16 Digo de nuevo: No me vean como un loco; pero si lo hacen, escúchame como tal, para que pueda tomar un poco de gloria para mí mismo.

I say again. And let no one consider me to be foolish. Or, at least, accept me as if I were foolish, so that I also may glory a small amount.

17 Lo que estoy diciendo ahora no es por orden del Señor, sino como una persona tonta, tomándome crédito, como parece.

What I am saying is not said according to God, but as if in foolishness, in this matter of glorying.

18 Al ver que hay quienes se reconocen a sí mismos según la carne, haré lo mismo.

Since so many glory according to the flesh, I will glory also.

19 Porque has aguantado de buena gana a los insensatos, siendo sabios.

For you freely accept the foolish, though you yourselves claim to be wise.

20 Han aguantado a aquellos que los obligan a servir, que los explotan, los hace prisioneros, se enaltece, y les dan golpes en la cara.

For you permit it when someone guides you into servitude, even if he devours you, even if he takes from you, even if he is extolled, even if he strikes you repeatedly on the face.

21 Digo esto para vergüenza mía, nosotros mismos, hemos sido débiles para portarnos así. Pero si alguien tiene osadía (estoy hablando como una persona tonta), haré lo mismo.

I speak according to disgrace, as if we had been weak in this regard. In this matter, (I speak in foolishness) if anyone dares, I dare also.

22 ¿Son hebreos? Yo también. ¿Son de Israel? Yo también. ¿Son ellos la simiente de Abraham? Yo también.

They are Hebrews; so am I. They are Israelites; so am I. They are the offspring of Abraham; so am I.

23 ¿Son siervos de Cristo? (Estoy hablando tontamente) Soy más; He tenido más experiencia en el trabajo duro, en las cárceles, en los golpes más que en las medidas, en la muerte.

They are the ministers of Christ (I speak as if I were less wise); more so am I: with many more labors, with numerous imprisonments, with wounds beyond measure, with frequent mortifications.

24 Cinco veces los judíos me dieron cuarenta golpes, pero uno.

On five occasions, I received forty stripes, less one, from the Jews.

25 Tres veces fui azotado con varas, una vez fui apedreado, tres veces el barco en el que estuve fue destruido en el mar, una noche y un día he estado en el agua;

Three times, I was beaten with rods. One time, I was stoned. Three times, I was shipwrecked. For a night and a day, I was in the depths of the sea.

26 En viajes frecuentes, en peligros en ríos, en peligros de bandidos, en peligros de mis compatriotas, en peligros de los gentiles, en peligros en la ciudad, en peligros en el desierto, en peligros en el mar, en peligros entre falsos hermanos;

I have made frequent journeys, through dangerous waters, in danger of robbers, in danger from my own nation, in danger from the Gentiles, in danger in the city, in danger in the wilderness, in danger in the sea, in danger from false brothers,

27 En trabajo duro y cansancio, en vigilias frecuentes, sin comida y bebida, frío y con necesidad de ropa.

with hardships and difficulties, with much vigilance, in hunger and thirst, with frequent fasts, in cold and nakedness,

28 Además de todas las otras cosas, está todo lo que sucede todos los días, el cuidado de todas las iglesias.

and, in addition to these things, which are external: there is my daily earnestness and solicitude for all the churches.

29 ¿Quién enferma y yo no enfermo? ¿A Quién se le hace tropezar y no estoy enojado?

Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is scandalized, and I am not being burned?

30 Si tengo que jactarme, lo haré en las cosas en las que soy débil.

If it is necessary to glory, I will glory of the things that concern my weaknesses.

31 El Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, a quien alabado sea para siempre, es testigo de que lo que digo es verdad. (aiōn g165)

The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying. (aiōn g165)

32 En Damasco, el gobernante bajo el rey Aretas vigilaba la ciudad del pueblo de Damasco, para arrestarme.

At Damascus, the governor of the nation under Aretas the king, watched over the city of the Damascenes, so as to apprehend me.

33 Y siendo descolgado me bajaron en un canasto por una ventana, de la muralla de la ciudad, me liberé de sus manos.

And, through a window, I was let down along the wall in a basket; and so I escaped his hands.
