1 Entonces el pueblo de la tierra tomó a Joacaz, hijo de Josías, y lo hizo rey en Jerusalén en lugar de su padre.
Therfor the puple of the lond took Joachaz, the sone of Josie, and ordeynede hym kyng for his fadir in Jerusalem.
2 Joacaz tenía veintitrés años cuando llegó a ser rey; estuvo gobernando en Jerusalén durante tres meses.
Joachaz was of thre and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede thre monethis in Jerusalem.
3 Entonces el rey de Egipto le arrebató el reino a Jerusalén y puso en la tierra un impuesto de cien talentos de plata y un talento de oro.
Sotheli the kyng of Egipt, `whan he hadde come to Jerusalem, remouyde hym, and condempnede the lond in an hundrid talentis of siluer and in a talent of gold.
4 Y el rey de Egipto hizo rey a Eliaquim su hermano sobre Judá y Jerusalén, cambiando su nombre por Joacim. Y Necao se llevó a su hermano Joacaz a Egipto.
And he ordeynede for hym Eliachim, his brother, kyng on Juda and Jerusalem; and turnede his name Joakym. Sotheli he took thilk Joachaz with hym silf, and brouyte in to Egipt.
5 Joacim tenía veinticinco años cuando llegó a ser rey; él gobernó en Jerusalén por once años, e hizo lo malo ante los ojos del Señor su Dios.
Joakym was of fyue and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnyde eleuene yeer in Jerusalem, and he dide yuel bifor `his Lord God.
6 Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, subió contra él y lo llevó encadenado a Babilonia.
Nabugodonosor, kyng of Caldeis, styede ayens this Joakym, and ledde hym boundun with chaynes in to Babiloyne.
7 Nabucodonosor tomó algunos de los vasos de la casa del Señor y los puso en la casa de su dios en Babilonia.
To which Babiloyne he translatide also the vessels of the Lord, and settide tho in his temple.
8 Ahora, el resto de los actos de Joacim y las cosas repugnantes que hizo, y todo lo que se puede decir contra él, están registrados en el libro de los reyes de Israel y Judá; y Joaquín su hijo se convirtió en rey en su lugar.
Sotheli the residue of wordis of Joakym, and of hise abhomynaciouns whiche he wrouyte, and that weren foundun in hym, ben conteyned in the book of kyngis of Israel and of Juda. Therfor Joachym, his sone, regnede for hym.
9 Joaquín tenía dieciocho años cuando llegó a ser rey; estuvo gobernando en Jerusalén durante tres meses y diez días, e hizo lo malo ante los ojos del Señor.
Joachym was of eiyte yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede thre monethis and ten daies in Jerusalem, and he dide yuel in the siyt of the Lord.
10 En la primavera del año, el rey Nabucodonosor mandó que lo llevarán a Babilonia, con los utensilios más valiosos del templo del Señor, e hizo a Sedequías, hermano de su padre, rey de Judá y Jerusalén.
And whanne the cercle of the yeer was turned aboute, Nabugodonosor the kynge sente men, whiche also brouyten hym in to Babiloyne, whanne the moost preciouse vessels of the hows of the Lord weren borun out togidir. Sotheli he ordeynede Sedechie, his fadris brother, kyng on Juda and Jerusalem.
11 Sedequías tenía veintiún años cuando se convirtió en rey; Gobernó en Jerusalén durante once años.
Sedechie was of oon and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede eleuene yeer in Jerusalem.
12 Él hizo lo malo ante los ojos del Señor, y no se humilló ante el profeta Jeremías que le dio la palabra del Señor.
And he dide yuel in the siyt of `his Lord God, and he was not aschamed of the face of Jeremye, the prophete, spekynge to hym bi the mouth of the Lord.
13 Y tomó las armas contra el rey Nabucodonosor, aunque le había hecho jurar por Dios; pero fue terco y endureció su corazón, apartándose del Señor, el Dios de Israel.
Also he yede awey fro the kyng Nabugodonosor, that hadde made hym to swere bi God; and he made hard his nol and herte, that he nolde turne ayen to the Lord of Israel.
14 Y más que esto, todos los grandes hombres de Judá y los sacerdotes y el pueblo hicieron grandes sus pecados, volviéndose a todos los caminos repugnantes de las naciones; y dejaron inmunda la casa del Señor que él había santificado como su santuario en Jerusalén.
But also alle the princes of preestis and the puple trespassiden wickidli, bi alle abhomynaciouns of hethene men; and thei defouliden the hows of the Lord, which he halewide to hym silf in Jerusalem.
15 Y el Señor, el Dios de sus antepasados, les envió un mensaje de parte de sus siervos, advirtiendoles con frecuencia, porque tenía compasión de su pueblo y de su lugar de residencia;
Forsothe the Lord God of her fadris sente to hem bi the hond of hise messangeris, and roos bi nyyt, and amonestide ech day; for he sparide his puple and dwellyng place.
16 Pero avergonzaron a los siervos de Dios, despreciando sus palabras y riéndose de sus profetas, hasta que la ira de Dios se movió contra su pueblo, hasta que no hubo remedio.
And thei scorneden the messangeris of God, and dispisiden hise wordis, and scorneden hise prophetis; til the greet veniaunce of the Lord stiede on his puple, and noon heelyng were.
17 Entonces envió contra ellos al rey de los caldeos, que mató a espada a sus jóvenes con la espada en el santuario, y no tuvo piedad de ninguno, joven o virgen, anciano, ni inválidos. Dios los dio a todos en sus manos.
And he brouyte on hem the kyng of Caldeis; and killide the yonge men of hem `bi swerd in the hows of seyntuarie; `he hadde not merci of a yong `man, and of a vergyn, and of an eld man, and sotheli nether of a man niy the deth for eldnesse, but he bitook alle in the hond of that king of Caldeis.
18 Y todos los vasos de la casa de Dios, grandes y pequeños, y la riqueza almacenada de la casa del Señor y la riqueza del rey y sus jefes, se la llevaron a Babilonia.
And he translatide in to Babiloyne alle the vessels of the hows of the Lord, bothe the grettere and the lasse vessels, and the tresours of the temple, and of the kyng, and of the princes.
19 Y la casa de Dios fue quemada y el muro de Jerusalén derribado; Todas sus grandes casas fueron quemadas con fuego y todas sus hermosas vasijas entregadas a la destrucción.
Enemyes brenten the hows of the Lord; thei distrieden the wal of Jerusalem; thei brenten alle the touris; and thei distrieden what euer thing was preciouse.
20 Y a todos los que no habían muerto a espada, se los llevaron a Babilonia; y se convirtieron en siervos para él y para sus hijos hasta que el reino de Persia llegó al poder.
If ony man ascapide the swerd, he was led in to Babiloyne, and seruyde the kyng and hise sones; til the kyng of Peersis regnyde,
21 Para que las palabras del Señor, que él dijo por boca de Jeremías, se hagan realidad, hasta que la tierra haya tenido placer en sus sábados; porque mientras se desperdició, la tierra guardó el sábado, hasta que se cumplieron setenta años.
and the word of the Lord bi the mouth of Jeremye was fillid, and til the lond halewide hise sabatis. For in alle the daies of desolacioun it made sabat, til that seuenti yeer weren fillid.
22 En el primer año de Ciro, rey de Persia, para que las palabras que el Señor había dicho por boca de Jeremías se hicieran realidad, el espíritu de Ciro, rey de Persia, fue movido por el Señor, y él hizo una declaración pública y la repartió por todo su reino y la puso por escrito, diciendo:
Forsothe in the firste yeer of Cyrus, kyng of Persis, to fille the word of the Lord, which he hadde spoke bi the mouth of Jeremye, the Lord reiside the spirit of Cirus, king of Persis, that comaundide to be prechid in al his rewme, yhe, bi scripture, and seide, Cirus,
23 Ciro, rey de Persia, dijo: El Señor, el Dios del cielo, me ha dado todos los reinos de la tierra; y él me ha hecho responsable de construir una casa para él en Jerusalén, que está en Judá. Quienquiera que haya entre ustedes de todo su pueblo, que el Señor, su Dios, esté con él, váyase allá.
the king of Persis, seith these thingis, The Lord God of heuene yaf to me alle the rewmes of erthe, and he comaundide to me, that Y schulde bilde to hym an hows in Jerusalem, which is in Judee. Who of you is in al his puple? `his Lord God be with hym, and stie he `in to Jerusalem.
