2 Crónicas 29

1 Ezequías se convirtió en rey cuando tenía veinticinco años; y él fue rey en Jerusalén por veintinueve años; y el nombre de su madre fue Abi, hija de Zacarías.

Hezekiah began to reigne, when he was fiue and twentie yeere olde, and reigned nine and twentie yeres in Ierusalem: and his mothers name was Abiiah the daughter of Zechariah.

2 Hizo lo correcto ante los ojos del Señor, como lo había hecho su padre David.

And hee did vprightly in the sight of the Lord, according to all that Dauid his father had done.

3 En el primer año de su gobierno, en el primer mes, abrió las puertas de la casa del Señor, las reparó.

He opened the doores of the house of the Lord in the first yeere, and in the first moneth of his reigne, and repared them.

4 Y mandó llamar a los sacerdotes y a los levitas, y los reunió en atrio del oriente.

And he brought in the Priests and the Leuites, and gathered them into the East streete,

5 Y les dijo: escúchenme, levitas; ahora purifiquense, y purifiquen el templo del Señor, el Dios de sus antepasados, y saquen todo lo inmundo del lugar santo.

And said vnto them, Heare me, ye Leuites: sanctifie nowe your selues, and sanctifie the house of the Lord God of your fathers, and cary forth the filthinesse out of the Sanctuarie.

6 Porque nuestros padres hicieron lo malo, pecaron ante los ojos del Señor nuestro Dios, y lo abandonaron, apartando sus rostros del templo del Señor dándole la espalda.

For our fathers haue trespassed, and done euill in the eyes of the Lord our God, and haue forsaken him, and turned away their faces from the Tabernacle of the Lord, and turned their backes.

7 Se han cerrado las puertas de su casa y se han apagado los candelabros; no se han quemado inciensos ni se han hecho ofrendas al Dios de Israel en su lugar santo.

They haue also shut the doores of ye porch, and quenched the lampes, and haue neither burnt incense, nor offred burnt offrings in the Sanctuarie vnto the God of Israel.

8 Y así ha venido la ira del Señor sobre Judá y Jerusalén, y él los ha entregado para ser causa de terror, burla y vergüenza, como lo han visto sus propios ojos.

Wherfore the wrath of the Lord hath bin on Iudah and Ierusalem: and he hath made them a scattering, a desolation, and an hissing, as ye see with your eyes.

9 Por eso, nuestros padres han sido ejecutados con la espada, y nuestros hijos e hijas y esposas han sido llevados prisioneros debido a esto.

For lo, our fathers are fallen by the sword, and our sonnes, and our daughters, and our wiues are in captiuitie for the same cause.

10 Ahora es mi propósito hacer un acuerdo con el Señor, el Dios de Israel, para que el calor de su ira pueda ser alejado de nosotros.

Now I purpose to make a couenant with the Lord God of Israel, that he may turne away his fierce wrath from vs.

11 Hijos míos, no Sean negligentes ahora, porque el Señor les ha ordenado que vengan ante él y seas sus siervos, quemándole ofrendas.

Now my sonnes, be not deceiued: for the Lord hath chosen you to stand before him, to serue him, and to be his ministers, and to burne incense.

12 Entonces los levitas tomaron sus lugares; Mahat, el hijo de Amasai, y Joel, el hijo de Azarías; entre los de Coat; y de los hijos de Merari, Cis, hijo de Abdi, y Azarías, hijo de Jehaleel; de los Gerson, Joa, hijo de Zima, y Edén, hijo de Joa;

Then the Leuites arose, Mahath ye sonne of Amashai, and Ioel the sonne of Azariah of the sonnes of the Kohathites: and of the sonnes of Merari, Kish the sonne of Abdi, and Azariah the sonne of Iehalelel: and of the Gershonites, Ioah the sonne of Zimmah, and Eden the sonne of Ioah:

13 Y de los hijos de Elizafán, Simri y Jehiel; y de los hijos de Asaf, Zacarías y Matanías;

And of the sonnes of Elizaphan, Shimri, and Iehiel: and of the sonnes of Asaph, Zechariah, and Mattaniah:

14 Y de los hijos de Hemán, Jehiel y Simei; y de los hijos de Jedutún, Semaías y Uziel.

And of the sonnes of Heman, Iehiel, and Shimei: and of the sonnes of Ieduthun, Shemaiah and Vzziel.

15 Reunieron a sus parientes y se purificaron; y entraron, como el rey había dicho por la palabra del Señor, para purificar el templo del Señor.

And they gathered their brethren, and sanctified themselues and came according to the commandement of the King, and by the words of the Lord, for to clense the house of the Lord.

16 Y los sacerdotes entraron en la parte interior del templo del Señor para purificarla, y todo lo impuro que se veía en el Templo del Señor, lo llevaron al atrio exterior de la casa del Señor y los levitas lo tomaron juntos y se lo llevaron al arroyo Cedrón.

And the Priests went into the inner partes of the house of the Lord, to clense it, and brought out all the vncleannesse that they founde in the Temple of the Lord, into the court of the house of the Lord: and the Leuites tooke it, to cary it out vnto the brooke Kidron.

17 El primer día del primer mes comenzó la labor de santificar la casa, y al octavo día llegaron al pórtico del Señor; en ocho días más santificaron el templo del Señor, y el día dieciséis del primer mes terminaron.

They began the first day of the first moneth to sanctifie it, and the eight day of the moneth came they to the porche of the Lord: so they sanctified the house of the Lord in eight dayes, and in the sixeteenth day of the first moneth they made an ende.

18 Fueron al rey Ezequías y dijeron: Hemos limpiado el templo del Señor, así como el altar de las ofrendas quemadas con todas sus vasijas, y la mesa para el pan santo, con todas sus utensilios.

Then they went in to Hezekiah ye King, and sayde, We haue clensed all the house of the Lord and the altar of burnt offring, with all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread table, with all the vessels thereof:

19 Y todas las vasijas que el rey Acaz había desechado en su pecado mientras él era rey, las pusimos en orden y las santificamos, y ahora están en sus lugares delante del altar del Señor.

And all the vessels which King Ahaz had cast aside when he reigned, and transgressed, haue we prepared and sanctified: and beholde, they are before the altar of the Lord.

20 Entonces se levantó temprano el rey Ezequías, reunió a los grandes hombres del pueblo y subió a la casa del Señor.

And Hezekiah the King rose early, and gathered the princes of the citie, and went vp to the house of the Lord.

21 Y tomaron con ellos siete bueyes, siete ovejas, siete corderos y siete chivos, como ofrenda por el pecado del reino, el santuario y por Judá. Y dio órdenes a los hijos de Aarón, los sacerdotes, de que se ofrecieran en el altar del Señor.

And they brought seuen bullockes, and seuen rammes, and seuen lambes, and seuen hee goates, for a sinne offring for the kingdome, and for the sanctuarie, and for Iudah. And he commanded the Priests the sonnes of Aaron, to offer them on the altar of the Lord.

22 Entonces mataron a los bueyes y su sangre fue entregada a los sacerdotes para que fueran rociada contra el altar; luego mataron a las ovejas macho, rociando su sangre contra el altar, y mataron a los corderos, rociando su sangre contra el altar.

So they slewe the bullockes, and the Priests receiued the blood, and sprinkled it vpon the altar: they slew also the rammes and sprinkled the blood vpon the altar, and they slew the lambes, and they sprinkled the blood vpon the altar.

23 Entonces tomaron los machos cabríos para la ofrenda por el pecado, colocándolos ante el rey y la reunión de la gente, y pusieron sus manos sobre ellos:

Then they brought the hee goates for the sinne offring before the King and the Congregation, and they layde their hands vpon them.

24 Y los sacerdotes los mataron, e hicieron una ofrenda por el pecado con su sangre en el altar, para quitar el pecado de todo Israel, porque el rey dio órdenes de que la ofrenda quemada y la ofrenda por el pecado fueran por todo Israel.

And the Priests slewe them, and with the blood of them they clensed the altar to reconcile all Israel: for the King had commanded for all Israel the burnt offring and the sinne offring.

25 Luego puso a los levitas en sus lugares en la casa del Señor, con instrumentos musicales de bronce y cuerdas como lo ordenaron David y Gad, el vidente del rey, y el profeta Natán, porque era orden del Señor. Dada por sus profetas.

He appointed also the Leuites in the house of the Lord with cymbales, with violes, and with harpes, according to the commandement of Dauid, and Gad the Kings Seer, and Nathan the Prophet: for the commandement was by the hande of the Lord, and by the hande of his Prophets.

26 Entonces los levitas tomaron sus lugares con los instrumentos de David, y los sacerdotes con sus cuernos.

And the Leuites stood with the instruments of Dauid, and the Priests with the trumpets.

27 Y Ezequías dio la palabra para la ofrenda quemada que se ofrecerá en el altar. Y cuando comenzó la ofrenda quemada, entonces comenzó la canción del Señor, con el sonido de los cuernos y con todos los instrumentos de David, el rey de Israel.

And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offring vpon the altar: and when the burnt offring began, the song of the Lord beganne with the trumpets, and the instruments of Dauid King of Israel.

28 Y todo el pueblo adoraba, al sonido de las canciones, y los cantores cantaban y al sonar los cuernos; y esto continuó hasta que se terminó la ofrenda quemada.

And al the Congregation worshipped, singing a song, and they blew the trumpets: all this continued vntill the burnt offring was finished.

29 Y al final de la ofrenda, el rey y todos los que estaban presentes se postraron con él dieron culto.

And when they had made an ende of offring, the King and all that were present with him, bowed themselues, and worshipped.

30 Entonces el rey Ezequías y los capitanes dieron órdenes a los levitas para que alabaran a Dios en las palabras de David y de Asaf, el vidente. E hicieron cantos de alabanza con alegría, y con las cabezas inclinadas adoraron.

Then Hezekiah the King and the princes commanded the Leuites to prayse the Lord with the wordes of Dauid, and of Asaph the Seer. so they praysed with ioy, and they bowed themselues, and worshipped.

31 Entonces Ezequías respondió y dijo: Ahora que se han consagrado al Señor, acérquense y traigan ofrendas y alabanzas en la casa del Señor. Así que todas las personas trajeron ofrendas y alabanzas; y aquellos cuyos corazones se conmovieron, llevaron ofrendas quemadas.

And Hezekiah spake, and sayde, Now ye haue consecrate your selues to the Lord: come neere and bring the sacrifices and offerings of prayse into the house of the Lord. And the Congregation brought sacrifices; and offrings of prayses, and euery man that was willing in heart, offred burnt offrings.

32 El número de ofrendas quemadas que el pueblo recibió fue de setenta bueyes, cien carneros y doscientos corderos: todos estos fueron para ofrendas quemadas al Señor.

And the nomber of the burnt offrings, which the Congregation brought, was seuentie bullockes, an hundreth rammes, and two hundreth lambes: all these were for a burnt offring to the Lord:

33 Y las ofrendas que se ofrecieron fueron seiscientos bueyes y tres mil ovejas.

And for sanctification sixe hundreth bullockes, and three thousand sheepe.

34 No había suficientes sacerdotes para la tarea de cortar todas las ofrendas quemadas; así que sus hermanos, los levitas, les ayudaron hasta que se hizo el trabajo, hasta que los sacerdotes se purificaron, porque los levitas tenían el corazón más dispuesto para purificarse que los sacerdotes.

But the Priests were too few, and were not able to flay all the burnt offrings: therefore their brethren the Leuites did helpe them, til they had ended the worke, and vntill other Priests were sanctified: for the Leuites were more vpright in heart to sanctifie themselues, then the Priests.

35 Y había una gran cantidad de ofrendas quemadas, con la grasa de las ofrendas de paz y las ofrendas de bebidas por cada ofrenda quemada. Así se restableció el servicio en él templo del Señor.

And also the burnt offerings were many with the fat of the peace offrings and the drinke offrings for the burnt offring. so the seruice of the house of the Lord was set in order.

36 Ezequías y toda la gente estaban llenos de alegría, porque Dios había preparado a la gente: porque la cosa se hizo de repente.

Then Hezekiah reioyced and all the people, that God had made the people so ready: for the thing was done suddenly.
