2 Crónicas 27
1 Jotam tenía veinticinco años cuando se convirtió en rey; y reinó en Jerusalén dieciséis años; y el nombre de su madre fue Jerusa, la hija de Sadoc.
Joathan was of fyue and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede sixtene yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Jerusa, the douyter of Sadoch.
2 Hizo lo correcto ante los ojos del Señor, como lo había hecho su padre Uzías; pero él no entró en el templo del Señor. Y la gente seguía en su mal camino.
He dide that, that was riytful bifor the Lord, bi alle thingis whiche Ozie, his fadir, hadde do; outakun that he entride not in to the temple of the Lord, and the puple trespasside yit.
3 Levantó la puerta superior de la casa del Señor e hizo muchos edificios en la pared del Ofel.
He bildide the hiy yate of the hous of the Lord, and he bildide manye thingis in the wal of Ophel;
4 Además, hizo pueblos en las colinas de Judá, y fortalezas y torres fuertes en los bosques.
also he bildide citees in the hillis of Juda, and he bildide castels and touris in forestis.
5 Fue a la guerra con el rey de los hijos de Amón y los venció. Ese año, los hijos de Amón le dieron cien talentos de plata, diez mil medidas de grano y diez mil medidas de cebada. Y los hijos de Amón le dieron la misma cantidad el segundo año y el tercero.
He fauyt ayens the kyng of the sones of Amon, and ouercam hym; and the sones of Amon yauen to hym in that tyme an hundrid talentis of siluer, and ten thousynde choris of barli, and so many of wheete; the sones of Amon yauen these thingis to hym in the secounde and in the thridde yeer.
6 Entonces Jotam se hizo fuerte, porque en todos sus caminos hizo al Señor su guía.
And Joathan was maad strong, for he hadde dressid hise weies bifor `his Lord God.
7 Ahora, el resto de los hechos de Jotam, y todas sus guerras y sus campañas militares, están registrados en el libro de los reyes de Israel y Judá.
Forsothe the residue of wordis of Joathan, and alle hise batels, and werkis, ben writun in the book of kyngis of Israel and of Juda.
8 Tenía veinticinco años cuando se convirtió en rey, y estuvo gobernando en Jerusalén durante dieciséis años.
He was of fyue and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede sixtene yeer in Jerusalem.
9 Y Jotam murió y lo enterraron en la ciudad de David; Y su hijo Acaz se convirtió en rey en su lugar.
And Joathan slepte with hise fadris, and thei birieden hym in the citee of Dauid; and Achaz, his sone, regnede for him.
