1 Tesalonicenses 3

1 Por fin nuestro deseo de tener noticias de ustedes fue tan fuerte que, mientras nosotros estábamos esperando en Atenas,

And because we could not endure, we were willing to be left at Athinos alone,

2 Enviamos a Timoteo, nuestro hermano y siervo de Dios en las buenas nuevas de Cristo, para darles fortaleza y consuelo en su fe;

and to send to you Timotheos our brother, a minister of Aloha and our helper in the gospel of the Meshiha, to fortify you, and inquire of you concerning your faith,

3 Para que ningún hombre se conmueva por estos problemas; porque estas cosas son parte del propósito de Dios para nosotros.

that none of you should be slain through these afflictions; for you know that to this we are set.

4 Y cuando estábamos con ustedes, les dijimos que tendríamos tribulaciones; y así sucedió, como ya sabes.

For while also we were with you, we foretold you that we were to be afflicted, as you know that it hath been.

5 Por esta razón, cuando ya no fui capaz de aguantar la incertidumbre, envié un mensaje para recibir noticias de su fe, temiendo que puedan ser probados por el Maligno y que nuestro trabajo pueda quedar en nada.

On account of this also, I, not enduring until I had sent to know your faith, lest the tempter should tempt you, and we should have laboured in vain;

6 Pero ahora que Timoteo ha venido a nosotros de con ustedes y nos ha dado buenas noticias de su fe y amor, y que tienen recuerdos felices de nosotros, deseando vernos en gran manera, así como nosotros queremos verlos;

but now when Timotheos came to us from among you, and gave us intelligence of your faith and of your love, and that you have a good remembrance of us in every season, and desire to see us as we also (to see) you;

7 Por esta causa, hermanos, en todos nuestros problemas y penas, tuvimos consuelo en ustedes por su fe;

on this account we were comforted in you, my brethren, in all our anxieties and our afflictions because of your faith.

8 Porque es vida para nosotros si mantienen su fe en el Señor sin cambio.

And now we live, if you are established in our Lord.

9 Porque cuán grande es la alabanza que le damos a Dios por ustedes, y cuán grande es la alegría con la que nos alegramos por ustedes ante nuestro Dios;

For what thanks giving can we render on account of you to Aloha, over all the joy with which we rejoice on your behalf,

10 Noche y día solicitando a Dios una y otra vez que podamos ver tu rostro y completar lo que les falta en la fe.

unless before Aloha we supplicate exceedingly by night and by day to see your faces, and to perfect what is wanting to your faith?

11 Ahora que nuestro Dios y Padre mismo y nuestro Señor Jesús guíe nuestro camino para que vayamos a ustedes;

But Aloha himself, the Father of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, will make straight our way to you,

12 Y el Señor les dé un aumento de amor en abundancia unos con otros y para con todos los hombres, así como nuestro amor hacia ustedes;

and he will cause your love to increase to one another, and to every man, even as we love you;

13 Para que sus corazones sean fuertes y libres de todo pecado delante de nuestro Dios y Padre, a la venida de nuestro Señor Jesús con todos sus santos.

and will establish your hearts without blame in holiness, before Aloha our Father, at the advent of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha with all his saints.
