1 Juan 3
1 Mira qué gran amor nos ha dado el Padre al nombrarnos hijos de Dios; Por esto él mundo no nos conoce, porque no le conoció a él.
Behold, what loue the Father hath giuen to vs, that we should be called the sonnes of God: for this cause this world knoweth you not, because it knoweth not him.
2 Mis seres queridos, ahora somos hijos de Dios, y en este momento no se ha manifestado lo que debemos ser. Estamos seguros de que en su revelación seremos como él; porque lo veremos tal como es él.
Dearely beloued, nowe are we the sonnes of God, but yet it is not made manifest what we shall be: and we know that when he shalbe made manifest, we shalbe like him: for we shall see him as he is.
3 Y cualquiera que tiene esta esperanza en él se purifica así mismo, así como él es puro.
And euery man that hath this hope in him, purgeth himselfe, euen as he is pure.
4 Todo el que es pecador va contra la ley, porque el pecado va contra la ley.
Whosoeuer committeth sinne, transgresseth also the Law: for sinne is the transgression of the Lawe.
5 Y saben que él apareció para quitar nuestros pecados; y que en él no hay pecado.
And ye knowe that hee was made manifest, that he might take away our sinnes, and in him is no sinne.
6 Cualquiera que está en él no peca; cualquiera que es un pecador no lo ha visto y no tiene conocimiento de él.
Whosoeuer abideth in him, sinneth not: whosoeuer sinneth, hath not seene him, neither hath knowen him.
7 Hijitos míos, nadie los engañe; el que hace justicia es justo, como él es justo;
Litle children, let no man deceiue you: he that doeth righteousnes, is righteous, as hee is righteous.
8 El que practica el pecado es un hijo del diablo; porque el diablo ha sido un pecador desde el principio. Y el Hijo de Dios para esto apareció para poder poner fin a las obras del diablo.
He that comitteth sinne, is of the deuil: for the deuill sinneth from the beginning: for this purpose was made manifest that Sonne of God, that he might loose the workes of the deuil.
9 Cualquiera que sea hijo de Dios no peca, porque todavía tiene la simiente de Dios en él; él no puede ser un pecador, porque Dios es su Padre.
Whosoeuer is borne of God, sinneth not: for his seede remaineth in him, neither can hee sinne, because he is borne of God.
10 De esta manera está claro quiénes son los hijos de Dios y quiénes son los hijos del Maligno; cualquiera que no hace justicia o que no tiene amor por su hermano, no es hijo de Dios.
In this are the children of God knowen, and the children of the deuil: whosoeuer doeth not righteousnesse, is not of God, neither he that loueth not his brother.
11 Porque esta es la palabra que les fue dada desde el principio, que debemos amarnos unos a otros;
For this is the message, that ye heard from the beginning, that we should loue one another,
12 No siendo del Mal Uno como Caín, que mató a su hermano. ¿Y por qué lo mató? Porque sus obras eran malas y las obras de su hermano eran buenas.
Not as Cain which was of that wicked one, and slewe his brother: and wherefore slewe he him? because his owne workes were euill, and his brothers good.
13 No se sorprendan, mis hermanos, si el mundo no les ama.
Marueile not, my brethren, though this world hate you.
14 Somos conscientes de que hemos salido de la muerte a la vida, debido a nuestro amor por los hermanos. El que no tiene amor todavía está en la muerte.
We know that we are translated from death vnto life, because we loue the brethren: he that loueth not his brother, abideth in death.
15 Cualquiera que tenga odio por su hermano es un homicida, y puede estar seguro de que ningún homicida tiene vida eterna en él. (aiōnios g166)
Whosoeuer hateth his brother, is a manslayer: and ye know that no manslayer hath eternall life abiding in him. (aiōnios g166)
16 En esto vemos lo que es el amor, porque dio su vida por nosotros; y es correcto que entreguemos nuestras vidas por los hermanos.
Hereby haue we perceiued loue, that he layde downe his life for vs: therefore we ought also to lay downe our liues for the brethren.
17 Pero si un hombre tiene los bienes de este mundo, y ve que su hermano está necesitado, y mantiene su corazón cerrado contra su hermano, ¿cómo es posible que el amor de Dios esté en él?
And whosoeuer hath this worlds good, and seeth his brother haue neede, and shutteth vp his compassion from him, howe dwelleth the loue of God in him?
18 Hijitos Míos, no permitan que nuestro amor sea en palabra ni en lengua, sino que sea en acto y de buena fe.
My litle children, let vs not loue in worde, neither in tongue onely, but in deede and in trueth.
19 De esta manera podemos estar seguros de que somos verdaderos, y podemos dar a nuestro corazón consuelo ante él,
For thereby we know that we are of the trueth, and shall before him assure our hearts.
20 Pues si nuestro corazón nos dice que hemos hecho mal; Dios es mayor que nuestro corazón, y tiene conocimiento de todas las cosas.
For if our heart condemne vs, God is greater then our heart, and knoweth all things.
21 Mis queridos hermanos, si nuestro corazón no dice que hemos hecho mal, no tenemos miedo delante de Dios.
Beloued, if our heart condemne vs not, then haue we boldnes toward God.
22 Y él nos da todas nuestras peticiones, porque guardamos sus mandamientos hacemos las cosas que son agradables a sus ojos.
And whatsoeuer we aske we receiue of him, because we keepe his commandements, and do those things which are pleasing in his sight.
23 Y este es su mandamiento: , que creamos en el nombre de su Hijo Jesucristo, y nos amemos unos a otros, como él nos ha mandado.
This is then his commandement, That we beleeue in the Name of his Sonne Iesus Christ, and loue one another as hee gaue commandement.
24 El que guarda sus mandamientos permanece en Dios y Dios está en él. Y el Espíritu que nos dio es nuestro testimonio de que él está en nosotros.
For hee that keepeth his commandements, dwelleth in him, and he in him: and hereby we knowe that hee abideth in vs, euen by that Spirit which he hath giuen vs.
