1 Corintios 3

1 Yo hermanos míos, no pude hablarles, como a los que tienen el Espíritu, sino a los que todavía están en la carne, con criterios puramente humanos, como a niños en las cosas de Cristo.

And I, brethren, was not able to speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even babes in Christ.

2 Les di una enseñanza sencilla, igual que a un niño de pecho, les di leche y no carne, porque entonces no eran capaces y aún no son capaces todavía de digerir la comida fuerte.

I have fed you with milk, not with meat; for you were not yet able. But ye are not now yet able:

3 Porque todavía están en la carne; porque cuando hay envidia y división entre ustedes, ¿no andas todavía en los deseos de la carne, como hombres naturales?

for ye are yet carnal. For where there are envy and strife among you, are you not carnal, and walking about according to man?

4 Porque cuando uno dice: Yo soy de Pablo; y otro dice: Yo soy de Apolos; ¿No estás hablando como hombres naturales?

For when one may say, I am indeed of Paul; another, I am of Apollos; are you not men?

5 ¿Qué es Apolos? y que es Pablo? No son más que sirvientes por medio de los cuales han creído en él Señor; y eso según lo que a cada uno concedió el Señor.

Then what is Apollos? and what is Paul? But ministers through whom ye believed; even as the Lord gave to each one.

6 Yo hice la siembra, Apolos regó, pero Dios dio el aumento.

I planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

7 Entonces el plantador no es nada, ni él que riega es nada; pero Dios que da el aumento.

So neither is the one planting, nor the one watering anything, but God the one giving the increase.

8 Ahora el plantador y el que riega están trabajando para el mismo fin: pero tendrán sus recompensas separadas en la medida de su trabajo.

But he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and each one shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.

9 Porque somos colaboradores con Dios: ustedes son la labranza de Dios, él edificio que Dios está construyendo.

For we are God's fellow-laborers; ye are God's farm; ye are God's building.

10 En la medida de la gracia que se me ha dado, yo, como sabio maestro de obras, puse la base en posición, y otra sigue construyendo sobre ella. Pero deje que cada hombre cuide lo que él le ponga.

According to the grace of God which was given unto me, I as a wise architect, laid the foundation; and another builds on it. Let each one take heed how he builds.

11 Porque no hay otra base para el edificio que lo que se ha edificado, que es Jesucristo.

For other foundation no one is able to lay beside the one which is laid, who is Jesus Christ.

12 Pero sobre la base un hombre puede poner oro, plata, piedras de gran precio, madera, pasto seco, tallos cortados;

But if any one builds upon the foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

13 El trabajo de cada hombre será manifestó en ese día, porque será probado por fuego; y el fuego mismo dejará en claro la calidad del trabajo de cada hombre.

the work of each will be made manifest: for the day will reveal it, because it is revealed by fire; and the same fire will try the work of each what soil it is.

14 Si el trabajo de cualquier hombre pasa por la prueba, tendrá una recompensa.

And if the work of any one which he builds, abides, he will receive a reward:

15 Si el fuego pone fin a la obra de un hombre, será su pérdida: pero él obtendrá la salvación a sí mismo, aunque así como por fuego.

But if the work of any one shall be burnt up, he shall suffer loss; but himself shall be saved, but as through the fire.

16 ¿No saben que son el templo de Dios, y que el Espíritu de Dios vive en ustedes?

Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwells in you?

17 Si alguno hace inmunda a la casa de Dios, Dios pondrá fin a él; porque él templo de Dios es santo, y ese templo son ustedes mismos.

If any one destroys the temple of God, him will God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which ye are.

18 Que nadie se engañe a sí mismo. Si alguno se cree sabio entre ustedes, que se vuelva ignorante para que llegue a ser sabio. (aiōn g165)

Let no one deceive himself. If any one seems to be wise among you in this age, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. (aiōn g165)

19 Porque la sabiduría de este siglo es necedad delante de Dios. Como se dice en las Sagradas Escrituras: “Dios atrapa a los sabios en su propia astucia.”

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it has been written. He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

20 Y otra vez, El Señor tiene conocimiento de los pensamientos de los sabios, que no son vanos.

And again, The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

21 Así que nadie se enorgullezca de ser seguidor de hombre alguno; pues todas las cosas son de ustedes;

So let no one boast among men; for all things are yours;

22 Pablo, o Apolos, o Cefas, o el mundo, o la vida, o la muerte, o cosas presentes, o cosas por venir; todo es de ustedes,

whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come.

23 Y ustedes son de Cristo; y Cristo es de Dios.

All things are yours; and ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.
