And, the sons of Gomer, Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.

7 Y los hijos de Javán: Elisa, Tarsis, Quitim Rodanim.

And, the sons of Javan, Elishah, and Tarshish, —Kittim, and Rodanim.

8 Los hijos de Cam: Cus, Mizraim, Fut y Canaán.

The sons of Ham, Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

And, the sons of Cush, Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And, the sons of Raamah, Sheba, and Dedan.

18 Y Arfaxad fue el padre de Sela, y Sela a Heber.

19 Heber tuvo dos hijos: el nombre de uno era Peleg, porque en sus días se hizo una división de la tierra; y el nombre de su hermano era Joctán.

27 Y Abram (que es Abraham).

Abram—the same, is Abraham.

28 Los hijos de Abraham: Isaac e Ismael.

The sons of Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael.

38 Y los hijos de Seir: Lotan, Sobal, Zibeon, Ana, Disón, Ezer y Disan.

And, the sons of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, —and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.

39 Y los hijos de Lotán: Hori, Homam; Timna era la hermana de Lotan.

And, the sons of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, —and, Lotan’s sister, was Timna.

41 Los hijos de Aná: Disón. Y los hijos de Disón: Amram, Esban, Itran y Queran.

The sons of Anah, Dishon, —and, the sons of Dishon, Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

42 Los hijos de Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan y Jaakan. Los hijos de Disán: Uz y Aran.

The sons of Ezer, Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan, Uz and Aran.

43 Estos son los reyes que gobernaban en la tierra de Edom, antes de que hubiera rey alguno sobre Israel: Bela, el hijo de Beor; su pueblo se llamaba Dinaba.

Now, these, are the kings, who reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned a king of the sons of Israel, —Bela the son of Beor, and, the name of his city, was Dinhabah.

And Bela died, —and there reigned in his stead, Jobab son of Zerah, of Bozrah.

And Husham died, —and there reigned in his stead, Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, and, the name of his city, was Avith.

And Hadad died, —and there reigned in his stead, Samlah of Masrekah.

48 Y a la muerte de Samla, Saúl de Rehobot, junto al río, se convirtió en rey en su lugar,

And Samlah died, —and there reigned in his stead, Shaul, of Rehoboth by the River.

49 Y a la muerte de Saúl, Baal-hanan, el hijo de Acbor, se hizo rey en su lugar.

And Shaul died, —and there reigned in his stead, Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor.

50 Y a la muerte de Baal-hanan, Hadad se convirtió en rey en su lugar; su ciudad se llamaba Pai, y el nombre de su esposa era Mehetabel, la hija de Matred, la hija de Mezaab.

And Baal-hanan died, —and there reigned in his stead, Hadad, and, the name of his city, was Pai, —and, the name of his wife, was Mehetabel, daughter of Matred, daughter of Mezahab.

51 Y Hadad llegó a su fin. Ahora los jefes de Edom eran: Timna, Alva, Jetet,

And Hadad died. And there were chiefs of Edom: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth;

52 El jefe de Aholibama, Ela, Pinon,

chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon;

53 El jefe de Cenaz, Temán, Mibzar,

chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar;

54 El jefe de Magdiel, Iram. Estos son los jefes de Edom.
