1 Crónicas 7
1 Y de los hijos de Isacar: Tola y Fua, Jasub y Simron, cuatro.
Issachar’s four sons were Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron.
2 Y los hijos de Tola: Uzi, Refaias, Jeriel, Jahmai, Jibsam y Semuel, jefes de sus familias; eran hombres de guerra; en el registro de sus generaciones su número en el tiempo de David era veintidós mil seiscientos.
Tola’s sons were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Samuel (OR, Shemuel). They were all leaders of the clans [descended from] them. In the record of Tola’s descendants were the names of 22,600 men who served in the army during the time that David was the king [of Israel].
3 Y los hijos de Uzi; Izrahias; y los hijos de Izrahias: Micael, Obadias, Joel e Isias, cinco; Todos ellos jefes.
Uzzi’s son was Izrahiah. Izrahiah’s five sons were Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Isshiah. Izrahiah and his sons were all leaders of their clans.
4 Las varias generaciones de sus familias, había hombres de guerra, treinta y seis mil de ellos, porque tenían una gran cantidad de esposas e hijos.
In the record of Izrahiah’s descendants were the names of 36,000 men who served in the army because they had many wives and children.
5 Y se registraron entre todas las familias de Isacar, grandes hombres de guerra, ochenta y siete mil.
In the records of the clans descended from Issachar were the names of 87,000 men who served in the army.
6 Los hijos de Benjamín: Bela, Bequer y Jediael, tres.
[Some of the] sons of Benjamin were Bela, Beker, and Jediael.
7 Y los hijos de Bela: Ezbon, Uzi, Uziel Jerimot e Iri, cinco; los jefes de sus familias, grandes hombres de guerra; había veintidós mil treinta y cuatro de ellos registrados por sus familias.
Bela’s five sons were Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri. They were all leaders of clans. In the records of the clans descended from Bela there were names of 22,034 men who served in the army.
8 Y los hijos de Bequer: Zemira, Joas, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jerimot, Abias, Anatot y Alanes. Todos estos fueron los hijos de Bequer.
Beker’s sons were Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth, and Alemeth.
9 Y fueron registrados por sus generaciones, jefes de sus familias, grandes hombres de guerra, veinte mil doscientos.
In the records of the clans descended from Beker were the names of 20,200 men and leaders of the clans who served in the army.
10 Y los hijos de Jediael: Bilhan; y los hijos de Bilhan: Jeus, Benjamin, Aod, Quenaana, Zetan y Tarsis y Ahisahar.
Jediael’s son was Bilhan. Bilhan’s sons were Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Kenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar.
11 Todos estos fueron hijos de Jediael, junto a los jefes de sus familias, diecisiete mil, doscientos hombres de guerra, capaces de salir con el ejército para la guerra.
They were all leaders of clans descended from them. There were 17,200 of them who served in the army.
12 Sufam y Hufam, los hijos de Hir, Husim, hijo de Aher.
Shuppim and Huppim were descendants of Ir. [One of] the descendants of Aher was Hushim.
13 Los hijos de Neftalí: Jahzeel, Guni, Jezer y Salum, los hijos de Bilha.
Naphtali’s sons were Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shillem. They were all descendants of [Jacob’s slave wife] Bilhah.
14 Los hijos de Manasés por su concubina, la mujer siria: ella dio a luz a Asriel y Maquir, el padre de Galaad;
[This is a list of] Manasseh’s descendants. Manasseh had a slave wife who was from Syria. She was the mother of Asriel and Makir. Makir was the father of Gilead.
15 Y Maquir tomó esposa, que se llamaba Maaca, mujer de la familia de Hufam y Sufam. Él nombre de su segundo hijo era Zelofehad que sólo tuvo hijas.
Makir [had two wives]. They were from the clans of Huppim and Shuppim. One of Makir’s wives was named Maacah. Another descendant [of Makir] was Zelophehad. Zelophehad [had no sons; he] had only daughters.
16 Y Maaca, la mujer de Galaad, dio a luz un hijo a quien ella le dio el nombre de Peres; y su hermano se llamaba Seres; y sus hijos fueron Ulam y Requem.
Makir’s wife Maacah gave birth to two sons whom she named Peresh and Sheresh. Sheresh’s sons were Ulam and Rakem.
17 Y el hijo de Ulam: Bedán. Estos fueron los hijos de Galaad, el hijo de Maquir, hijo de Manasés.
Ulam’s son was Bedan. All those [men were considered to be] descendants of Gilead, who was the son of Makir and grandson of Manasseh.
18 Y su hermana era la madre de Isod, Abiezer y Mahala.
Makir’s sister name was Hammoleketh who was the mother of Ishdod, Abiezer, and Mahlah.
19 Y los hijos de Semida fueron Ahian, Siquem, Likhi y Aniam.
[One son of Gilead was] Shemida, whose sons were Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.
20 Y los hijos de Efraín: Sutela y Bered su hijo, y Tahat su hijo, y Elada su hijo, y Tahat su hijo,
[This is a list of] the descendants of Ephraim. One son of Ephraim’s was Shuthelah. Shuthelah’s son was Bered. Bered’s son was Tahath. Tahath’s son was Eleadah. Eleadah’s son was [also named] Tahath.
21 Y su hijo Zabad, y su hijo Sutela, y Ezer y Elad, a quienes los hombres de Gat, que habían estado viviendo en la tierra desde su nacimiento, los mataron, porque bajaron para llevarse su ganado.
Tahath’s son was Zabad. Zabad’s son was Shuthelah. [Ephraim’s other sons, ] Ezer and Elead, went to Gath [city] to steal some cows and sheep. But they were both killed by some of the men from that city.
22 Y durante mucho tiempo Efraín su padre lloró por ellos y sus hermanos vinieron a darle consuelo.
Their father Ephraim cried/mourned for them for many days, and his family came to comfort him.

Then he and his wife had sex [EUP] [again], and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. Ephraim named him Beriah [which resembles the word ‘trouble’, ] because of the trouble that his family had experienced.

Ephraim’s daughter was Sheerah. Her workers built [three towns]: Lower Beth-Horon, Upper Beth-Horon, and Uzzen-Sheerah.

[Another] son of Ephraim was Rephah. Rephah’s son was Resheph. Resheph’s son was Telah. Telah’s son was Tahan.
26 Laadan era su hijo, Amiud, su hijo, Elisama su hijo,
Tahan’s son was Ladan. Ladan’s son was Ammihud. Ammihud’s son was Elishama.
27 Nun su hijo, Josué su hijo.
Elishama’s son was Nun. Nun’s son was Joshua, [the man who led the Israelis after Moses died].
28 Su herencia y sus lugares de residencia eran Betel y sus aldeas correspondientes, Naaran al este, Gezer al oeste, con sus aldeas correspondientes, así como Siquem, y sus aldeas correspondientes como hasta Ayah; y sus aldeas correspondientes;
[This is a list of] the cities and areas where the descendants of Ephraim lived: Bethel and the nearby villages; Naaran to the east; Gezer to the west and the nearby villages; and Shechem and the nearby villages. Those villages extended [north] as far as Ayyah and the nearby villages.
29 Y por los límites de los hijos de Manasés, Bet-seán y sus aldeas correspondientes, Taanac, Megiddo y Dor, con sus aldeas correspondientes. En estos vivían los hijos de José, el hijo de Israel.
Along the border of the area where the descendants of Manasseh lived were these towns: Beth-Shan, Taanach, Megiddo, and Dor, and the nearby villages. The people who lived in all those places were descendants of Jacob’s son Joseph.
30 Los hijos de Aser: Imna, Isua, Isui, Beria y Sera, su hermana.
Asher’s sons were Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, and Beriah. Their sister was Serah.
31 Y los hijos de Beria: Heber y Malquiel, que fue el padre de Birzavit.
Beriah’s sons were Heber and Malkiel. Malkiel was the father of Birzaith
32 Y Heber fue el padre de Jaflet, Semer, Hotham y Sua, su hermana.
Heber was the father of Japhlet, Shomer, and Hotham. Their sister was Shua.
33 Y los hijos de Jaflet: Pasac, Bimhal y Asvat.
Japhlet’s sons were Pasach, Bimhal, and Ashvath.
34 Y los hijos de Semer: su hermano, Ahi y Rohga, Jehuba y Aram.
Japhlet’s [younger] brother was Shomer. Shomer’s sons were Rohgah, Hubbah, and Aram.
35 Y los hijos de Hotham, su hermano: Zofa, Imna, Seles y Amal.
Shomer’s [younger] brother was Hotham (OR, Helem). Hotham’s sons were Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal.
36 Los hijos de Zofa: Sua y Hernefer y Sual y Beri y Imra.
Zophah’s sons were Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah,
37 Beser y Hod y Sama y Silsa e Itran y Beera.
Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran [whose other name was Jether], and Beera.
38 Y los hijos de Jeter: Jefone, Pispa y Ara.
Jether’s sons were Jephunneh, Pispah, and Ara.
39 Y los hijos de Ula: Ara, Haniel y Rezia.
[Another descendant of Asher was] Ulla, whose sons were Arah, Hanniel, and Rizia.
40 Todos estos eran hijos de Aser, jefes de sus familias, especialmente escogidos, fuertes, valientes hombres de guerra, jefes de los gobernantes. Fueron registrados en el ejército para la guerra, en número veintiséis mil hombres.
All those men were descendants of Asher, and they were all leaders of their clans. They were brave warriors and excellent leaders. In the record of the clans that are descended from Asher are [the names of] 26,000 men who served in the army.
