1 Crónicas 28
1 Y David reunió en Jerusalén a todos los gobernantes de Israel, los jefes de las tribus y los capitanes de las divisiones que servían al rey, y los capitanes de miles y los capitanes de cientos y los controladores de todos las tierras y bienes del rey y sus hijos, con los oficiales más importantes, los grandes hombres de guerra.
Therfor Dauid clepide togidere alle the princes of Israel, the duykis of lynagis, and the souereyns of cumpenyes, that `mynystriden to the kyng, also the tribunes, and centuriouns, and hem that weren souereyns ouer the catel and possessiouns of the kyng, and hise sones, with `nurchis, and techeris, and alle the myyti and strongeste men in the oost of Jerusalem.
2 Entonces el rey David se levantó y dijo: Escúchenme, hermanos míos, y a mi pueblo; mi deseo era construir un templo, un lugar de descanso para el cofre del pacto del Señor y para el descanso de nuestro Dios; y tenía material listo para construirlo.
And whanne the kyng hadde rise, and `hadde stonde, he seide, My britheren and my puple, here ye me. Y thouyte for to bilde an hows, wherynne the arke of boond of pees of the Lord, and the stool of the feet of oure God schulde reste; and Y made redi alle thingis to bilde.
3 Pero Dios me dijo: No debes ser el constructor de una casa para mi nombre, porque eres un hombre de guerra y has derramado mucha sangre;
But God seide to me, Thou schalt not bilde an hows to my name, for thou art a man werriour, and hast sched blood.
4 Aunque el Señor, el Dios de Israel, me sacó de toda la familia de mi padre, para ser rey sobre Israel para siempre, haciendo que Judá fuera el jefe y de la gente de Judá, la familia de mi padre; y entre los hijos de mi padre se alegró de hacerme rey sobre todo Israel;
But the Lord God of Israel chees me of al the hows of my fadir, that Y schulde be kyng on Israel with outen ende; for of Juda he chees princes, sotheli of the hows of Juda he chees the hows of my fadir, and of the sones of my fadir it pleside hym to chese me kyng on al Israel.
5 Y de todos mis hijos porque el Señor me ha dado un gran número de hijos, ha elegido a Salomón para que ocupe su lugar en el lugar del reino del Señor sobre Israel.
But also of my sones, for the Lord yaf to me many sones, he chees Salomon, my sone, that he schulde sitte in the troone of the rewme of the Lord on Israel.
6 Y él me dijo: Salomón, tu hijo, será el constructor de mi templo y los atrios que lo rodean; porque lo he escogido para que sea mi hijo, y yo le seré por padre.
And he seide to me, Salomon, thi sone, schal bilde myn hows, and myn auters; for Y haue chose hym to me in to a sone, and Y schal be to hym in to a fadir;
7 Afirmaré su reino para siempre, si él es fuerte en todo momento para cumplir mis órdenes y cumplir mis reglas, como en este día.
and Y schal make stidefast his rewme til in to with outen ende, if he schal contynue to do myn heestis and domes, as and to dai.
8 Ahora, ante los ojos de todo Israel, el pueblo del Señor, y de nuestro Dios que nos escucha, guarda y sé fiel a las órdenes del Señor tu Dios; para que puedan tener esta buena tierra para ustedes mismos y entregarla como herencia a sus hijos después de ustedes para siempre.
Now therfor bifor al the cumpeny of Israel, `Y seie these thingis that suen in the heryng of God, kepe ye and seke ye alle the comaundementis of `youre Lord God, that ye haue in possessioun a good lond, and that ye leeue it to youre sones aftir you til in to with outen ende.
9 Y tú, mi hijo Salomón, obtén el conocimiento del Dios de tu padre, y sé su servidor con un corazón verdadero y con un gran deseo, porque el Señor escudriña todos los corazones y tiene conocimiento de las intenciones de los pensamientos de los hombres; Si lo buscas, él estará cerca de ti; pero si te apartas de él, él te rechazará para siempre.
But thou, Salomon, my sone, knowe the God of thi fadir, and serue thou hym with perfit herte, and wilful soule; for the Lord serchith alle hertis, and vndirstondith alle thouytis of soulis; if thou sekist hym, thou schalt fynde hym; forsothe if thou forsakist hym, he schal caste thee awei with outen ende.
10 Ahora, toma nota; porque el Señor ha escogido a ti para ser el constructor de una templo para el lugar santo. Sé fuerte y hazlo.
Now therfor, for the Lord chees thee, for to bilde the hows of seyntuarie, be thou coumfortid, and parforme.
11 Entonces David le dio a su hijo Salomón el diseño del pórtico del templo de Dios y de sus casas y sus almacenes, y las habitaciones superiores y las habitaciones interiores y el lugar para el propiciatorio;
Forsothe Dauid yaf to Salomon, his sone, the discryuyng, `ether ensaumple, of the porche, and of the temple, and of celeris, and of the soler, and of closetis in pryuy places, and of the hows of propiciacioun, `that is, of mersi;
12 Y el diseño de todo lo que tenía en su corazón para las plazas exteriores de la casa del Señor, y para las habitaciones a su alrededor, y para los almacenes de la casa del Señor, y para los almacenes para las cosas del lugar Santísimo;
also and of alle thingis whiche he thouyte of the large places, and of chaumbris bi cumpas, in to the tresours of the hows of the Lord, and `in to the tresours of holi thingis,
13 Y los cuartos para los turnos de los sacerdotes y levitas, y para toda la obra relacionada con la adoración de la templo del Señor, y todos los utensilios usados en el templo del Señor;
and of the departyngis of preestis and of dekenes, in to alle the werkis of the hows of the Lord, and alle vessels of the seruyce of the temple of the Lord.
14 También le dio oro, en peso, para las vasijas de oro, para todas las vasijas de diferentes servicios; y plata para todas las vasijas de plata en peso, para vasijas de diferentes usos para el culto;
Of gold in weiyte bi ech vessel of the seruyce, and of siluer, for dyuersitee of vessels, and of werkis;
15 Oro por peso para los candelabros y lámparas, el peso del oro necesario; y para los candelabros de plata, el peso de plata necesaria para cada candelabro para los diferentes recipientes que se usarán;
but also to goldun candilstikis, and to her lanternes, he yaf gold, for the mesure of ech candilstike and lanternes; also and in silueren candilstikis, and in her lanternes, he bitook the weiyte of siluer, for the dyuersite of mesure.
16 Y oro por peso para las mesas para el pan santo para cada mesa, y plata para las mesas de plata;
Also and he yaf gold in to the bord of settyng forth, for the dyuersite of mesure, also and he yaf siluer in to othere siluerne boordis;
17 Oro puro para los ganchos de carne, los tazones y las copas, para las tazas de oro, oro suficiente por peso para cada copa; y plata en peso por cada copa de plata;
also to fleisch hookis, and viols, and censeris of pureste gold; and to litle goldun lyouns, for the maner of mesure, he departide a weiyte in to a litil lyoun and a litil lioun; also and in to siluerne liouns he departide dyuerse weiyte of siluer.
18 Y el mejor oro para el altar de los inciensos; y oro para el diseño del carro, para los querubines cuyas alas estaban extendidas cubriendo el cofre del pacto del Señor.
Forsothe he yaf pureste gold to the auter, wherynne encense was brent, that a lickenesse of the cart of cherubyns, holdinge forth wyngis, and hilynge the arke of boond of pees of the Lord, schulde be maad therof.
19 Todo esto, dijo David, el diseño de todas estas cosas, me fue revelado por escrito por la mano del Señor.
Dauid seide, Alle thingis camen writun bi the hond of the Lord to me, that Y schulde vndirstonde alle the werkis of the saumpler.
20 Y David dijo a su hijo Salomón: Sé fuerte y de buen corazón, y haz tu trabajo; no temas y no te preocupes, porque el Señor Dios, mi Dios, está contigo; Él no te abandonará, y su rostro no se apartará de ti, hasta que todo el trabajo necesario para el templo del Señor esté completo.
And Dauid seide to Salomon, his sone, Do thou manli, and be thou coumfortid, and make; drede thou not `with outforth, nether drede thou `with ynne; for `my Lord God schal be with thee, and he schal not leeue thee, nether schal forsake thee, til thou performe al the werk of the seruyce of the hows of the Lord.
21 Y mira, aquí están los turnos de sacerdotes y levitas para toda la obra del templo de Dios; y cada trabajador capacitado y experto estará listo para hacer por ti lo que sea necesario; y los capitanes y la gente estarán bajo tus órdenes en todo.
Lo! the departyngis of prestis and of dekenes, in to al the werk of the seruyce of the hows of the Lord, schulen stonde niy thee; and thei ben redi, and bothe the princes and the puple kunnen do alle thi comaundementis.
