1 Crónicas 11
1 Entonces todo Israel se reunió con David en Hebrón y dijo: En verdad, somos tu hueso y tu carne.
Then all Israel gathered themselues to Dauid vnto Hebron, saying, Beholde, we are thy bones and thy flesh.
2 En el pasado, cuando Saúl era rey, eras tú a la cabeza de Israel cuando salían o regresaban; Y el SEÑOR tu Dios te dijo: Tú debes de alimentar a mi pueblo Israel y gobernarlo.
And in time past, euen when Saul was King, thou leddest Israel out and in: and the Lord thy God sayde vnto thee, Thou shalt feede my people Israel, and thou shalt be captaine ouer my people Israel.
3 Entonces todos los responsables de Israel vinieron al rey en Hebrón; y David llegó a un acuerdo con ellos en Hebrón delante del Señor; y pusieron el aceite santo sobre David y lo hicieron rey sobre Israel, como el Señor lo había dicho por Samuel.
So came all the Elders of Israel to the King to Hebron, and Dauid made a couenant with them in Hebron before the Lord. And they anoynted Dauid King ouer Israel, according to the word of the Lord by the hand of Samuel.
4 Entonces David y todo Israel fueron a Jerusalén (que es Jebus); y los jebuseos, la gente de la tierra, estaban allí.
And Dauid and all Israel went to Ierusalem, which is Iebus, where were the Iebusites, the inhabitants of the land.
5 Y la gente de Jebus dijo a David: No entrarás aquí. Pero aún así, David tomó el lugar fuerte de Sión, que es la ciudad de David.
And the inhabitants of Iebus said to Dauid, Thou shalt not come in hither. Neuertheles Dauid tooke the towre of Zion, which is the city of Dauid.
6 Y David dijo: El primero en vencer a los jebuseos será el jefe y el capitán. Y Joab, el hijo de Sarvia, subió primero, y llegó a ser jefe.
And Dauid sayd, Whosoeuer smiteth the Iebusites first, shalbe the chiefe and captaine. So Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah went first vp, and was captaine.
7 Y David tomó la fortaleza para su lugar de vida, por lo que se llamó la ciudad de David.
And Dauid dwelt in the tower: therefore they called it the citie of Dauid.
8 Y construyó David la ciudad alrededor, comenzando desde el terraplén todo alrededor; Y Joab reparó el resto del pueblo.
And he built the citie on euery side, from Millo euen round about, and Ioab repaired the rest of the citie.
9 Y David se hizo cada vez más grande en poder, porque el Señor de los ejércitos estaba con él.
And Dauid prospered, and grewe: for the Lord of hostes was with him.
10 Ahora, estos son los principales hombres de guerra de David, quienes fueron sus fuertes partidarios en el reino y, con todo Israel, lo hicieron rey, como el Señor había dicho acerca de Israel.
These also are the chiefe of the valiant men that were with Dauid, and ioyned their force with him in his kingdome with al Israel, to make him King ouer Israel, according to the worde of the Lord.
11 Esta es la lista de los hombres de guerra de David: Jasobeam, el hijo de Hacmoni, el jefe de los tres: mató a trescientos a la vez con su lanza.
And this is the nomber of the valiant men whome Dauid had, Iashobeam the sonne of Hachmoni, the chiefe among thirtie: he lift vp his speare against three hundreth, whom he slewe at one time.
12 Después de él, Eleazar, hijo de Dodo el ahohíta, fue uno de los tres grandes combatientes.
And after him was Eleazar the sonne of Dodo the Ahohite, which was one of the three valiant men.
13 Estaba con David en Pas-damim, donde los filisteos se habían reunido para la lucha, cerca de un pedazo de tierra llena de cebada; Y el pueblo huyó ante los filisteos.
He was with Dauid at Pas-dammim, and there the Philistims were gathered together to battel: and there was a parcell of ground full of barley, and the people fled before the Philistims.
14 Tomó su posición en medio del campo, contuvo su ataque y venció a los filisteos; y el Señor dio gran victoria.
And they stood in the middes of the field, and saued it, and slewe the Philistims: so the Lord gaue a great victorie.
15 Y tres de los treinta bajaron a David, a la roca, al lugar fuerte de Adulam; y el ejército de los filisteos había tomado su posición en el valle de Refaim.
And three of the thirtie captaines went to a rocke to Dauid, into the caue of Adullam. And the armie of the Philistims camped in the valley of Rephaim.
16 En ese momento, David se había puesto a cubierto en una fortaleza, y una fuerza armada de los filisteos estaba en Belén.
And when Dauid was in the hold, the Philistims garison was at Beth-lehem.
17 Y David, conmovido por un fuerte deseo, dijo: ¡Si alguien me diera un trago del agua del pozo de agua de Belén junto a la puerta de entrada a la ciudad!
And Dauid longed, and said, Oh, that one would giue me to drinke of the water of the well of Beth-lehem that is at the gate.
18 Así que los tres, abriéndose paso a través del ejército filisteo, tomaron agua del pozo de agua de Belén, junto a la entrada de la ciudad, y se la llevaron a David; pero David no la tomó, sino que hizo una ofrenda, la derramó al Señor,
Then these three brake thorowe the hoste of the Philistims, and drewe water out of the well of Beth-lehem that was by the gate, and tooke it and brought it to Dauid: but Dauid would not drinke of it, but powred it for an oblation to the Lord,
19 Diciendo: ¡Dios mío, lejos de mí hacer esto! ¿Cómo puedo tomar como bebida la sangre vital de estos hombres que han puesto sus vidas en peligro? así que no lo tomó. Estas cosas hicieron los tres grandes hombres de guerra.
And said, Let not my God suffer me to do this: should I drinke the blood of these mens liues? for they haue brought it with the ieopardie of their liues: therefore he would not drinke it: these things did these three mightie men.
20 Y Abisai, el hermano de Joab, era el jefe de los treinta, porque mató a trescientos con su lanza, y tuvo fama entre los tres.
And Abishai the brother of Ioab, he was chiefe of the three, and he lift vp his speare against three hundreth, and slew them, and had the name among the three.
21 De los treinta, él era el más noble, y fue nombrado su capitán, pero no era igual a los tres primeros.
Among the three he was more honourable then the two, and he was their captaine: but he attained not vnto the first three.
22 Benaía, el hijo de Joiada, un guerrero de Cabseel, había hecho grandes actos; mató a dos hombres de Moab fieros como leones entrando en su lugar secreto; también descendió a un agujero y mató a un león en tiempo de nieve.
Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada (the sonne of a valiant man) which had done many actes, and was of Kabzeel, he slewe two strong men of Moab: he went downe also and slewe a lion in the middes of a pit in time of snowe.
23 E hizo un ataque a un egipcio, un hombre muy alto, de unos cinco codos de altura, armado con una lanza que parecía él rodillo de un telar; Bajó a él con un palo y sacando su lanza de la mano del egipcio, lo mató con esa misma lanza.
And he slewe an Egyptian, a man of great stature, euen fiue cubites long, and in the Egyptians hand was a speare like a weauers beame: and he went downe to him with a staffe, and plucked the speare out of the Egyptians hand, and slewe him with his owne speare.
24 Estos fueron los hechos de Benaía, el hijo de Joiada, que tuvo un gran nombre entre los treinta hombres de guerra.
These things did Benaiah ye sonne of Iehoiada, and had the name among the three worthies.
25 Fue honrado con los treinta, pero fue más distinguido que los tres primeros; y David lo puso sobre él mando de su guardia personal.
Behold, he was honourable among thirtie, but he attained not vnto the first three. And Dauid made him of his counsell.
26 Y estos eran los grandes hombres de guerra: Asael, el hermano de Joab, Elhanán, el hijo de Dodo de Belén,
These also were valiant men of warre, Asahel the brother of Ioab, Elhanan the sonne of Dodo of Beth-lehem,
27 Samot de Harod, Heles el Paltita,
Shammoth the Harodite, Helez the Pelonite,
28 Ira, el hijo de Iques, de Tecoa, Abiezer, de Anatot,
Ira the sonne of Ikkesh the Tekoite, Abiezer the Antothite,
29 Sibecai, de Husa, Ilai, el Ahohita,
Sibbecai the Husathite, Ilai the Ahohite,
30 Maharai, de Netofa, Heled, el hijo de Baana de Netofa,
Maharai the Netophathite, Heled ye sonne of Baanah the Netophathite,
31 Itai, el hijo de Ribai, de Gabaa, de los hijos de Benjamín, Benaía, de Piraton,
Ithai the sonne of Ribai of Gibeah of the children of Beniamin, Benaiah the Pirathonite,
32 Hidai, del arroyo de gaas, Abiel, el Arbatita;
Hurai of the riuers of Gaash, Abiel the Arbathite,
33 Azmavet, de Bahurim, Eliaba, Saalbonita,
Azmaueth the Baharumite, Elihaba the Shaalbonite,
34 Los hijos de Jasén, el Gizonita, Jonatán, hijo de Sage él ararita,
The sonnes of Hashem the Gizonite, Ionathan the sonne of Shageh the Harite,
35 Ahiam, el hijo de Sacar el ararita, Elifal, el hijo de Ur,
Ahiam the sonne of Sacar the Hararite, Eliphal the sonne of Vr,
36 Hefer mequeratita, Ahías, pelonita.
Hepher the Mecherathite, Ahiiah the Pelonite,
37 Hezrai de carmel, Naarai, el hijo de Ezbai,
Hezro the Carmelite, Naarai the sonne of Ezbai,
38 Joel, el hermano de Natán, Mibhar, el hijo de Hagrai,
Ioel the brother of Nathan, Mibhar the sonne of Haggeri,
39 Selec el Amonita, y Naharai, el Berot, el siervo que cuidaba las armas de Joab, el hijo de Sarvia;
Zelek the Ammonite, Nahrai the Berothite, the armour bearer of Ioab, the sonne of Zeruiah,
40 Ira, de Jatir; Gareb de Jatir;
Ira the Ithrite, Garib the Ithrite,
41 Urías el hitita, Zabad, el hijo de Ahlai,
Vriah the Hittite, Zabad the sonne of Ahlai,
42 Adina, hijo de Siza, el Rubénita, jefe de los rubenitas, y treinta hombres con él;
Adina the sonne of Shiza the Reubenite, a captaine of the Reubenites, and thirtie with him,
43 Hanán, el hijo de Maaca, y Josafat, el mitnita.
Hanan the sonne of Maachah, and Ioshaphat the Mithnite,
44 Uzia de Astarot, Sama y Jehiel, los hijos de Hotham de Aroer,
Vzia the Ashterathite, Shama and Ieiel the sonnes of Otham the Aroerite,
45 Jediael, el hijo de Simri, y Joha su hermano, el tizita,
Iediael the sonne of Shimri, and Ioha his brother the Tizite,
46 Eliel el Mahanaiam, Jeribai y Josavia, los hijos de Elnaam, e Itma el Moabita.
Eliel the Mahauite, and Ieribai and Ioshauiah the sonnes of Elnaam, and Ithmah the Moabite,
47 Eliel y Obed, y Jaasiel de Soba.
Eliel and Obed, and Iaasiel the Mesobaite.
