Zacarías 6
1 Y me torné, y alcé mis ojos y miré, y he aquí cuatro carros que salían de entre dos montes; y aquellos montes eran de bronce.
And again I lifted up my eyes and saw four chariots coming out from between two mountains—mountains of bronze.
2 En el primer carro había caballos bermejos, el segundo carro caballos negros,
The first chariot had red horses, the second black horses,
3 en el tercer carro caballos blancos, y en el cuarto carro caballos overos rucios rodados.
the third white horses, and the fourth dappled horses—all of them strong.
4 Respondí entonces, y dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: Señor mío, ¿qué es esto?
So I inquired of the angel who was speaking with me, “What are these, my lord?”
5 Y el ángel me respondió, y me dijo: Estos son los cuatro espíritus de los cielos, que salen de donde están delante del Señor de toda la tierra.
And the angel told me, “These are the four spirits of heaven, going forth from their station before the Lord of all the earth.
6 En el que estaban los caballos negros, salieron hacia la tierra del aquilón; y los blancos salieron tras ellos; y los overos salieron hacia la tierra del mediodía.
The one with the black horses is going toward the land of the north, the one with the white horses toward the west, and the one with the dappled horses toward the south.”
7 Y los rucios salieron, y se procuraron por ir a andar la tierra. Y dijo: Id, andad la tierra. Y anduvieron la tierra.
As the strong horses went out, they were eager to go and patrol the earth; and the LORD said, “Go and patrol the earth.” So they patrolled the earth.
8 Luego me llamó, y me habló diciendo: Mira, los que salieron hacia la tierra del aquilón hicieron reposar mi Espíritu en la tierra del aquilón.
Then the LORD summoned me and said, “Behold, those going to the land of the north have given rest to My Spirit in the land of the north.”
9 Y vino a mí palabra del SEÑOR, diciendo:
The word of the LORD also came to me, saying,
10 Toma de los que tornaron del cautiverio, de los del linaje de Heldai, y de Tobías, y de Jedaías; y vendrás tú en aquel día, y entrarás en Casa de Josías hijo de Sofonías, los cuales volvieron de Babilonia.
“Take an offering from the exiles—from Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah, who have arrived from Babylon—and go that same day to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah.
11 Tomarás plata y oro, y harás coronas, y las pondrás en la cabeza de Josué, hijo de Josadac el sumo sacerdote;
Take silver and gold, make an ornate crown, and set it on the head of the high priest, Joshua son of Jehozadak.
12 y le hablarás, diciendo: Así habló el SEÑOR de los ejércitos, diciendo: He aquí el varón cuyo nombre es el Renuevo, el cual retoñará de su lugar, y edificará el Templo del SEÑOR.
And you are to tell him that this is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Here is a man whose name is the Branch, and He will branch out from His place and build the temple of the LORD.
13 El edificará el Templo del SEÑOR, y él llevará gloria, y se sentará y dominará en su trono, y será sacerdote en su trono; y consejo de paz será entre ambos a dos.
Yes, He will build the temple of the LORD; He will be clothed in splendor and will sit on His throne and rule. And He will be a priest on His throne, and there will be peaceful counsel between the two.’
14 Y Helem, y Tobías, y Jedaías, y Hen, hijo de Sofonías, tendrán coronas por memorial en el Templo del SEÑOR.
The crown will reside in the temple of the LORD as a memorial to Helem, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and the gracious son of Zephaniah.
15 Y los que están lejos vendrán y edificarán en el Templo del SEÑOR, y conoceréis que el SEÑOR de los ejércitos me ha enviado a vosotros. Y será esto, si oyereis obedientes la voz del SEÑOR vuestro Dios.
Even those far away will come and build the temple of the LORD, and you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent Me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.”
