Salmos 85

1 Al Vencedor: A los hijos de Coré. Salmo. Fuiste propicio a tu tierra, oh SEÑOR; volviste la cautividad de Jacob.

For the choirmaster. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. You showed favor to Your land, O LORD; You restored Jacob from captivity.

2 Perdonaste la iniquidad de tu pueblo; cubriste todos los pecados de ellos. (Selah)

You forgave the iniquity of Your people; You covered all their sin.

3 Quitaste toda tu saña; te volviste de la ira de tu furor.

You withheld all Your fury; You turned from Your burning anger.

4 Vuélvenos, oh Dios, salud nuestra, y haz cesar tu ira de sobre nosotros.

Restore us, O God of our salvation, and put away Your displeasure toward us.

5 ¿Estarás enojado contra nosotros para siempre? ¿Extenderás tu ira de generación en generación?

Will You be angry with us forever? Will You draw out Your anger to all generations?

6 ¿No volverás tú a darnos vida, y tu pueblo se alegrará en ti?

Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?

7 Muéstranos, oh SEÑOR, tu misericordia, y danos tu salud.

Show us Your loving devotion, O LORD, and grant us Your salvation.

8 Escucharé lo que hablará Dios el SEÑOR; porque hablará paz a su pueblo y a sus santos, para que no se conviertan otra vez a la locura.

I will listen to what God the LORD will say; for He will surely speak peace to His people and His saints; He will not let them return to folly.

9 Ciertamente cercana está su salud a los que le temen; para que habite la gloria en nuestra tierra.

Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that His glory may dwell in our land.

10 La misericordia y la verdad se encontraron; la justicia y la paz se besaron.

Loving devotion and faithfulness have joined together; righteousness and peace have kissed.

11 La verdad reverdecerá de la tierra; y la justicia mirará desde los cielos.

Faithfulness sprouts from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.

12 El SEÑOR dará también el bien; y nuestra tierra dará su fruto.

The LORD will indeed provide what is good, and our land will yield its increase.

13 La justicia irá delante de él; y pondrá sus pasos en camino.

Righteousness will go before Him to prepare the way for His steps.
