Salmos 82

1 Salmo de Asaf. Dios está en la congregación de los poderosos; en medio de los dioses juzga.

“A psalm of Asaph.” God standeth in God's assembly, He judgeth in the midst of the gods.

2 ¿Hasta cuándo juzgaréis injustamente, y aceptaréis las personas de los impíos? (Selah)

“How long will ye judge unjustly, And favor the cause of the wicked? (Pause)

3 Haced derecho al pobre y al huérfano; haced justicia al pobre y al menesteroso.

Defend the poor and the fatherless; Do justice to the wretched and the needy!

4 Librad al pobre y al menesteroso; libradlo de mano de los impíos.

Deliver the poor and the destitute; Save them from the hand of the wicked!

5 No saben, no entienden, andan en tinieblas; vacilan todos los cimientos de la tierra.

They are without knowledge and without understanding; They walk in darkness: Therefore all the foundations of the land are shaken.

6 Yo dije: Vosotros sois dioses. Y todos vosotros hijos del Altísimo.

I have said, Ye are gods, And all of you children of the Most High;

7 Pero como hombres moriréis. Y caeréis como cualquiera de los tiranos.

But ye shall die like men, And fall like the rest of the princes.”

8 Levántate, oh Dios, juzga la tierra; porque tú heredarás todos los gentiles.

Arise, O God! judge the earth! For all the nations are thy possession.
