Salmos 6

1 Al Vencedor: en Neginot sobre Seminit: Salmo de David. SEÑOR, no me reprendas con tu furor, ni me castigues con tu ira.

“For the leader of the music; to be accompanied with stringed instruments; to the octave. A psalm of David.” O LORD! rebuke me not in thine anger; Chasten me not in thy hot displeasure!

2 Ten misericordia de mí, oh SEÑOR, porque yo estoy debilitado; sáname, oh SEÑOR, porque mis huesos están conturbados.

Have pity upon me, O LORD! for I am weak; Heal me, O LORD! for my bones tremble!

3 Mi alma asimismo está muy conturbada; y tú, SEÑOR, ¿hasta cuándo?

My soul, also, is sore troubled; And thou, O LORD! how long—?

4 Vuelve, oh SEÑOR, libra mi alma; sálvame por tu misericordia.

Return, O LORD! and deliver me; Oh, save me according to thy mercy!

5 Porque en la muerte no hay memoria de ti, ¿quién te loará en el sepulcro? (Sheol h7585)

For in death no praise is given to thee; In the underworld who can give thee thanks? (Sheol h7585)

6 Heme consumido a fuerza de gemir; todas las noches inundo mi lecho, riego mi estrado con mis lágrimas.

I am weary with my groaning; All the night I make my bed to swim, And drench my couch with my tears.

7 Mis ojos están carcomidos de descontento; se han envejecido a causa de todos mis angustiadores.

Mine eye is wasted with grief; It hath become old because of all my enemies.

8 Apartaos de mí, todos los obradores de iniquidad; porque el SEÑOR ha oído la voz de mi lloro.

Depart from me, all ye that do iniquity; For the LORD heareth the voice of my weeping.

9 El SEÑOR ha oído mi ruego; el SEÑOR ha recibido mi oración.

The LORD heareth my supplication; The LORD accepteth my prayer.

10 Se avergonzarán, y se turbarán mucho todos mis enemigos; se volverán y serán avergonzados de repente.

All my enemies shall be ashamed and utterly confounded; They shall be turned back, and put to shame suddenly.
