Salmos 46
1 Al Vencedor: a los hijos de Coré: Salmo sobre Alamot. Dios es nuestro amparo y fortaleza, nuestro pronto auxilio en las tribulaciones.
“To the chief musician: by the sons of Korach, upon 'Alamoth, a song.” God is our protection and strength, a help in distresses, very readily found.
2 Por tanto no temeremos aunque la tierra sea removida; aunque se traspasen los montes al corazón del mar.
Therefore will we not fear, even when the earth is transformed, and when mountains are moved into the heart of the seas;
3 Bramarán, se turbarán sus aguas; temblarán los montes a causa de su braveza. (Selah)
[When] the waters thereof roar and foam, when mountains quake before his majesty. (Selah)
4 Del Río sus conductos alegrarán la ciudad de Dios, el santuario de las tiendas del Altísimo.
[There] is a river, its rivulets cause to rejoice the city of God, the sanctuary of the dwellings of the Most High.
5 Dios está en medio de ella; no será conmovida; Dios la ayudará al clarear la mañana.
God is in her midst; she shall not be moved: God will ever help her, at the dawning of [her] morning.
6 Bramaron los gentiles, titubearon los reinos; dio él su voz, se derritió la tierra.
Nations rage, kingdoms are moved: he letteth his voice be heard, the earth melteth away.
7 El SEÑOR de los ejércitos es con nosotros; nuestro refugio es el Dios de Jacob. (Selah)
The Lord of hosts is with us; a defense unto us is the God of Jacob. (Selah)
8 Venid, ved las obras del SEÑOR, que ha puesto asolamientos en la tierra.
Come, look at the deeds of the Lord, who hath made desolations on the earth.
9 Que hace cesar las guerras hasta los fines de la tierra; que quiebra el arco, corta la lanza, y quema los carros en el fuego.
He causeth wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in pieces; he burneth wagons in the fire.
10 Cesad, y conoced que yo soy Dios; me ensalzaré en los gentiles, me ensalzaré en la tierra.
Leave off, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on the earth.
