Salmos 139
1 Al Vencedor: de David: Salmo. SEÑOR, tú me has examinado y conocido.
To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Jehovah, thou hast searched me, and known [me].
2 Tú has conocido mi sentarme y mi levantarme, has entendido desde lejos mis pensamientos.
Thou knowest my down-sitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off;
3 Mi andar y mi reposo has ceñido, y todos mis caminos has aparejado.
Thou searchest out my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways;
4 Pues aun no está la palabra en mi lengua, y he aquí, oh SEÑOR, tú la supiste toda.
For there is not yet a word on my tongue, [but] lo, O Jehovah, thou knowest it altogether.
5 Rostro y envés tú me formaste, y sobre mí pusiste tu mano.
Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thy hand upon me.
6 Más maravillosa es su ciencia que mi capacidad; alta es, no puedo comprenderla.
O knowledge too wonderful for me! it is high, I cannot [attain] unto it.
7 ¿Adónde me iré de tu Espíritu? ¿Y adónde huiré de tu presencia?
Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? and whither flee from thy presence?
8 Si subiere a los cielos, allí estás tú; y si hiciere mi estrado en el infierno, hete allí. (Sheol h7585)
If I ascend up into the heavens thou art there; or if I make my bed in Sheol, behold, thou [art there]; (Sheol h7585)
9 Si tomare las alas del alba, y habitare en el extremo del mar,
[If] I take the wings of the dawn [and] dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 aun allí me guiará tu mano, y me asirá tu diestra.
Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
11 Si dijere: Ciertamente las tinieblas me encubrirán; aun la noche resplandecerá por causa de mí.
And if I say, Surely darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night;
12 Aun las tinieblas no encubren de ti, y la noche resplandece como el día; las tinieblas son como la luz.
Even darkness hideth not from thee, and the night shineth as the day: the darkness is as the light.
13 Porque tú poseíste mis riñones; me cubriste en el vientre de mi madre.
For thou hast possessed my reins; thou didst cover me in my mother's womb.
14 Te alabaré; porque me formaste de una manera formidable y maravillosa; y ésto mi alma conoce en gran manera.
I will praise thee, for I am fearfully, wonderfully made. Marvellous are thy works; and [that] my soul knoweth right well.
15 No fue encubierto mi cuerpo de ti, aunque yo fui hecho en secreto, y entretejido en lo profundo de la tierra.
My bones were not hidden from thee when I was made in secret, curiously wrought in the lower parts of the earth.
16 Tus ojos vieron mi cuerpo aun imperfecto, y en tu libro todos mis miembros estaban escritos; que fueron luego formados, sin faltar uno de ellos.
Thine eyes did see my unformed substance, and in thy book all [my members] were written; [during many] days were they fashioned, when [as yet] there was none of them.
17 Así que ¡cuán preciosos me son, oh Dios, tus pensamientos! ¡Cuán multiplicadas son sus cuentas!
But how precious are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18 Si los cuento, se multiplican más que la arena; despierto, y aún estoy contigo.
[If] I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I awake, I am still with thee.
19 De cierto, oh Dios, matarás al impío; apartaos, pues, de mí, los varones sanguinarios,
Oh that thou wouldest slay the wicked, O God! And ye men of blood, depart from me.
20 que te dicen blasfemias; se ensoberbecen en vano tus enemigos.
For they speak of thee wickedly, they take [thy name] in vain, thine enemies.
21 ¿No tuve en odio, oh SEÑOR, a los que te aborrecen, y peleo contra tus enemigos?
Do not I hate them, O Jehovah, that hate thee? and do not I loathe them that rise up against thee?
22 De entero odio los aborrecí; los tuve por enemigos.
I hate them with perfect hatred; I account them mine enemies.
23 Examíname, oh Dios, y conoce mi corazón; pruébame y conoce mis pensamientos;
Search me, O God, and know my heart; prove me, and know my thoughts;
24 y ve si hay en mí camino de perversidad, y guíame en el camino eterno.
And see if there be any grievous way in me; and lead me in the way everlasting.
