< Salmos 112 >
1 Alelu-JAH. Alef Bienaventurado el varón que teme al SEÑOR, Bet y en sus mandamientos se deleita en gran manera.
Praise Yahweh! (Happy are/He is pleased with) those who revere him, those who happily obey his commands.
2 Guímel Su simiente será valiente en la tierra; Dálet la generación de los rectos será bendita.
Their children will prosper in their land; and their descendants will be blessed [by God].
3 He Hacienda y riquezas habrá en su casa; Vau y su justicia permanece para siempre.
Their families [MTY] will be very wealthy [DOU], and [the results of] their righteous deeds will endure forever.
4 Zain Resplandeció en las tinieblas luz a los rectos; Chet clemente, y misericordioso, y justo.
Godly/Righteous people are [like] lights [SIM] that shine in the darkness on those who are kind, merciful and righteous.
5 Tet El buen varón tiene misericordia y presta, Yod gobierna sus cosas con juicio.
Things [will] go well for those who generously lend money to others and who conduct their businesses honestly.
6 Caf Por lo cual no resbalará para siempre, Lámed en memoria eterna será el justo.
Righteous people will not be overwhelmed/worried/distressed [because of their troubles], and they will never be forgotten [by other people].
7 Mem De mala fama no tendrá temor, Nun su corazón está firme, confiado en el SEÑOR.
They are not afraid of [receiving] bad news; they confidently/completely trust in Yahweh.
8 Sámec Asentado está su corazón, no temerá, Ayin hasta que vea en sus enemigos su deseo.
They are confident and not afraid, because they know that they will see [God defeat] their enemies.
9 Pe Esparce, da a los pobres, Tsade su justicia permanece para siempre; Cof su cuerno será ensalzado en gloria.
They give things generously to poor/needy [people]; [the results of] their kind deeds will endure forever, and they [will] be exalted and honored.
10 Resh Lo verá el impío, y se despechará; Sin crujirá los dientes, y se carcomerá; Tau el deseo de los impíos perecerá.
Wicked people see those things and are angry; they gnash their teeth [angrily], but they [will] disappear [and die]. The [wicked] things that they want to do [will] never happen.
