Salmos 101

1 De David: Salmo. Misericordia y juicio cantaré; a ti, SEÑOR, diré salmos.

A Psalme of David. I will sing mercie and iudgement: vnto thee, O Lord, will I sing.

2 Entenderé en el camino de la perfección cuando vinieres a mí; en perfección de mi corazón andaré en medio de mi casa.

I will doe wisely in the perfite way, till thou commest to me: I will walke in the vprightnes of mine heart in the middes of mine house.

3 No pondré delante de mis ojos cosa injusta; hacer traiciones aborrecí; no se allegarán a mí.

I wil set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the worke of them that fall away: it shall not cleaue vnto me.

4 Corazón perverso se apartará de mí; no conoceré al malvado.

A froward heart shall depart from me: I will knowe none euill.

5 Al detractor de su prójimo a escondidas, a éste cortaré; al altivo de ojos, y de corazón vanidoso, a éste no puedo sufrir.

Him that priuily slandereth his neighbour, wil I destroy: him that hath a proude looke and hie heart, I cannot suffer.

6 Mis ojos pondré en los fieles de la tierra, para que asienten conmigo; el que anduviere en el camino de la perfección, éste me servirá.

Mine eyes shalbe vnto the faithfull of the lande, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfite way, he shall serue me.

7 No habitará en medio de mi casa el que hace engaño; el que habla mentiras no se afirmará delante de mis ojos.

There shall no deceitful person dwell within mine house: he that telleth lyes, shall not remaine in my sight.

8 Temprano cortaré a todos los impíos de la tierra; para talar de la ciudad del SEÑOR a todos los que obraren iniquidad.

Betimes will I destroy all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off all the workers of iniquitie from the Citie of the Lord.
