1 Y aconteció, que cuando Moisés hubo acabado de levantar el tabernáculo, y lo hubo ungido y santificado, con todos sus vasos; y asimismo ungido y santificado el altar, con todos sus vasos;
On the same day that Moses finished putting up the Tabernacle, he anointed it and dedicated it, along with all its furniture, the altar, and all its utensils.
2 entonces los príncipes de Israel, las cabezas de las casas de sus padres, los cuales eran los príncipes de las tribus, que estaban sobre los contados, ofrecieron;
The Israelite leaders who were the heads of their families came and gave an offering. They were the same leaders of the tribes who had worked on the registration of the Israelites.
3 y trajeron sus ofrendas delante del SEÑOR: seis carros cubiertos, y doce bueyes; por cada dos príncipes un carro, y cada uno un buey; lo cual ofrecieron delante del tabernáculo.
They brought to the Lord an offering of six covered wagons and twelve oxen. Each leader gave an ox, and two leaders shared in giving a wagon. They presented them in front of the Tabernacle.
4 Y el SEÑOR habló a Moisés, diciendo:
The Lord told Moses,
5 Tómalo de ellos, y será para el servicio del tabernáculo del testimonio; y lo darás a los levitas, a cada uno conforme a su ministerio.
“Accept what they're giving you and use them in the work of the Tent of Meeting. Give them to the Levites to use as required.”
6 Entonces Moisés recibió los carros y los bueyes, y los dio a los levitas.
Moses accepted the wagons and oxen and handed them over to the Levites.
7 Dos carros y cuatro bueyes, dio a los hijos de Gersón, conforme a su ministerio;
He gave two wagons and four oxen to the families of Gershon to use as they required.
8 y a los hijos de Merari dio los cuatro carros y ocho bueyes, conforme a su ministerio, a gobierno de Itamar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote.
He gave four wagons and eight oxen to the families of Merari, to use as they required. The work was all to be done under the direction of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.
9 Y a los hijos de Coat no les dio nada; porque llevaban sobre sí en los hombros el servicio del santuario.
He didn't give any wagons or oxen to the Kohathites because their responsibility was to carry on their shoulders the holy objects assigned to their care.
10 Y ofrecieron los príncipes a la dedicación del altar el día que fue ungido, ofrecieron los príncipes su ofrenda delante del altar.
The day the altar was anointed, the leaders came forward with their dedicatory offerings, presenting them in front of it.
11 Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Ofrecerán su ofrenda, un príncipe un día, y otro príncipe otro día, a la dedicación del altar.
The Lord told Moses, “Have one leader come every day and present his offering for the dedication of the altar.”
12 Y el que ofreció su ofrenda el primer día fue Naasón hijo de Aminadab, de la tribu de Judá.
The first day Nahshon, son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah came forward with his offering.
13 Y fue su ofrenda un plato de plata de peso de ciento treinta siclos, y un jarro de plata de setenta siclos, al siclo del santuario; ambos llenos de flor de harina amasada con aceite para presente;

So on the day the altar was anointed, the dedicatory offerings brought by the Israelite leaders were twelve silver plates, twelve silver bowls, and twelve gold dishes.
85 Cada plato de ciento treinta siclos, cada jarro de setenta; toda la plata de los vasos, dos mil cuatrocientos siclos, al siclo del santuario.
Each silver platter weighed a hundred and thirty shekels, and each bowl weighed seventy shekels. The total weight of the silver was two thousand four hundred shekels, (using the sanctuary shekel standard).
86 Los doce cucharros de oro llenos de incienso, de diez siclos cada cucharro, al peso del santuario; todo el oro de los cucharros, ciento veinte siclos.
The twelve gold dishes filled with incense each weighed ten shekels, (using the sanctuary shekel standard). The total weight of the gold was a hundred and twenty shekels.
87 Todos los bueyes para holocausto, doce becerros; doce los carneros, doce los corderos de un año, con su presente; y doce los machos cabríos, para expiación.
The animals presented as a burnt offering were twelve bulls, twelve rams, and twelve one-year-old male lambs, as well as their grain offerings, and twelve male goats as the sin offering.
88 Y todos los bueyes del sacrificio de la paz veinticuatro novillos, sesenta los carneros, sesenta los machos cabríos, sesenta los corderos de un año. Esta fue la dedicación del altar, después que fue ungido.
The animals presented as a peace offering were twenty-four bulls, sixty rams, sixty male goats, and sixty one-year-old male lambs. This was the dedicatory offering for the altar once it had been anointed.
89 Y cuando entraba Moisés en el tabernáculo del testimonio, para hablar con El, oía la voz del que le hablaba de encima de la cubierta que estaba sobre el arca del testimonio, de entre los dos querubines; y hablaba con él.
Whenever Moses went into the Tent of Meeting to speak with the Lord, he would hear the voice speaking to him from the atonement cover on the Ark of the Testimony between the two cherubim. This is how the Lord spoke to him.
