Nehemías 11

1 Y habitaron los príncipes del pueblo en Jerusalén; mas el resto del pueblo echó suertes para traer uno de diez que morase en Jerusalén, ciudad santa, y las nueve partes en las otras ciudades.

And the rulers of the people dwelt in Ierusalem: the other people also cast lottes, to bring one out of ten to dwel in Ierusalem the holy citie, and nine partes to be in the cities.

2 Y bendijo el pueblo a todos los varones que voluntariamente se ofrecieron a morar en Jerusalén.

And the people thanked all the men that were willing to dwell in Ierusalem.

3 Y éstos son los cabezas de la provincia que moraron en Jerusalén; mas en las ciudades de Judá habitaron cada uno en su posesión en sus ciudades, de Israel, de los sacerdotes, levitas, netineos, y de los hijos de los siervos de Salomón.

These now are the chiefe of the prouince, that dwelt in Ierusalem, but in the cities of Iudah, euery one dwelt in his owne possession in their cities of Israel, the Priestes and the Leuites, and the Nethinims, and the sonnes of Salomons seruants.

4 En Jerusalén, pues, habitaron de los hijos de Judá, y de los hijos de Benjamín. De los hijos de Judá: Ataías, hijo de Uzías, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Amarías, hijo de Sefatías, hijo de Mahalaleel, de los hijos de Fares;

And in Ierusalem dwelt certaine of the children of Iudah, and of the children of Beniamin. Of the sonnes of Iudah, Athaiah, the sonne of Vziiah, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Amariah, the sonne of Shephatiah, the sonne of Mahaleel, of the sonnes of Perez,

5 y Maasías hijo de Baruc, hijo de Colhoze, hijo de Hazaías, hijo de Adaías, hijo de Joiarib, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Siloni.

And Maaseiah the sonne of Baruch, the sonne of Col Hozeh, the sonne of Hazaiah, the sonne of Adaiah, the sonne of Ioiarib, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Shiloni.

6 Todos los hijos de Fares que moraron en Jerusalén, fueron cuatrocientos setenta y ocho varones fuertes.

All the sonnes of Perez that dwelt at Ierusalem, were foure hundreth, three score and eight valiant men.

7 Y éstos son los hijos de Benjamín: Salú hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Joed, hijo de Pedaías, hijo de Colaías, hijo de Maasías, hijo de Itiel, hijo de Jesaías.

These also are the sonnes of Beniamin, Sallu, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Ioed, the sonne of Pedaiah, the sonne of Kolaiah, the sonne of Maaseiah, the sonne of Ithiel, the sonne of Ieshaiah.

8 Y tras él, Gabai y Salai, novecientos veintiocho.

And after him Gabai, Sallai, nine hundreth and twentie and eight.

9 Y Joel hijo de Zicri, era el prefecto de ellos, y Judá hijo de Senúa, el segundo de la ciudad.

And Ioel the sonne of Zichri was gouernour ouer them: and Iudah, the sonne of Senuah was the second ouer the citie:

10 De los sacerdotes: Jedaías hijo de Joiarib, Jaquín,

Of the Priestes, Iedaiah, the sonne of Ioiarib, Iachin.

11 Seraías hijo de Hilcías, hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Sadoc, hijo de Meraiot, hijo de Ahitob, príncipe de la Casa de Dios,

Seraiah, the sonne of Hilkiah, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Meraioth, the sonne of Ahitub was chiefe of the house of God.

12 y sus hermanos los que hacían la obra de la Casa, ochocientos veintidós; y Adaías hijo de Jeroham, hijo de Pelalías, hijo de Amsi, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Pasur, hijo de Malquías,

And their brethren that did the worke in the Temple, were eight hundreth, twenty and two: and Adaiah, the sonne of Ieroham, the sonne of Pelaliah, the sonne of Amzi, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Pashur, the sonne of Malchiah:

13 y sus hermanos, príncipes de familias, doscientos cuarenta y dos; y Amasai hijo de Azareel, hijo de Azai, hijo de Mesilemot, hijo de Imer,

And his brethren, chiefe of the fathers, two hundreth and two and fourtie: and Amashsai the sonne of Azareel, the sonne of Ahazai, the sonne of Meshilemoth, the sonne of Immer:

14 y sus hermanos, valientes de fuerza, ciento veintiocho, capitán de los cuales era Zabdiel, hijo de Gedolim.

And their brethren valiant men, an hundreth and eight and twentie: and their ouerseer was Zabdiel the sonne of Hagedolim.

15 Y de los levitas: Semaías hijo de Hasub, hijo de Azricam, hijo de Hasabías, hijo de Buni;

And of the Leuites, Shemaiah, the sonne of Hashub, the sonne of Azrikam, the sonne of Hashabiah, the sonne of Bunni.

16 y Sabetai y Jozabad, de los principales de los levitas, capataces de la obra exterior de la Casa de Dios;

And Shabbethai, and Iozabad of the chiefe of the Leuites were ouer the workes of the house of God without.

17 y Matanías hijo de Micaía, hijo de Zabdi, hijo de Asaf, el principal, el que empezaba las alabanzas y acción de gracias al tiempo de la oración; y Bacbuquías el segundo de entre sus hermanos; y Abda hijo de Samúa, hijo de Galal, hijo de Jedutún.

And Mattaniah, the sonne of Micha, the sonne of Zabdi, the sonne of Asaph was the chiefe to begin the thankesgiuing and prayer: and Bakbukiah the second of his brethren, and Abda, the sonne of Shammua, the sonne of Galal, the sonne of Ieduthun.

18 Todos los levitas en la santa ciudad fueron doscientos ochenta y cuatro.

All the Leuites in the holy citie were two hundreth foure score and foure.

19 Y los porteros, Acub, Talmón, y sus hermanos, guardas en las puertas, ciento setenta y dos.

And the porters Akkub, Talmon and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundreth twentie and two.

20 Y el resto de Israel, de los sacerdotes, de los levitas, en todas las ciudades de Judá, cada uno en su heredad.

And the residue of Israel, of the Priests, and of the Leuites dwelt in al the cities of Iudah, euery one in his inheritance.

21 Y los netineos habitaban en Ofel ( la fortaleza ); y Ziha y Gispa eran sobre los netineos.

And the Nethinims dwelt in the fortresse, and Ziha, and Gispa was ouer the Nethinims.

22 Y el prepósito de los levitas en Jerusalén era Uzi hijo de Bani, hijo de Hasabías, hijo de Matanías, hijo de Micaía de los cantores los hijos de Asaf, sobre la obra de la Casa de Dios.

And the ouerseer of the Leuites in Ierusalem was Vzzi the sonne of Bani, the sonne of Ashabiah, the sonne of Mattaniah, the sonne of Micha: of the sonnes of Asaph singers were ouer the worke of the house of God.

23 Porque había mandamiento del rey acerca de ellos, y determinación acerca de los cantores para cada día.

For it was the Kings commandement cocerning them, that faithfull prouision shoulde bee for the singers euery day.

24 Y Petaías hijo de Mesezabeel, de los hijos de Zera hijo de Judá, estaba a la mano del rey en todo negocio del pueblo.

And Pethahiah the sonne of Meshezabeel, of the sonnes of Zerah, the sonne of Iudah was at the Kings hand in all matters concerning the people.

25 Y tocante a las aldeas y sus tierras, algunos de los hijos de Judá habitaron en Quiriat-arba y sus aldeas, y en Dibón y sus aldeas, y en Jecabseel y sus aldeas;

And in the villages in their landes, some of the children of Iudah dwelt in Kiriath-arba, and in the villages thereof, and in Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and in Iekabzeel. and in the villages thereof,

26 y en Jesúa, Molada, y en Bet-pelet;

And in Ieshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth palet,

27 y en Hazar-sual, y en Beerseba, y en sus aldeas;

And in Hazer-shual, and in Beer-sheba, and in the villages thereof,

28 y en Siclag, y en Mecona, y en sus aldeas;

And in Ziklag, and in Mechonah, and in the villages thereof,

29 y en En-rimón, y en Zora y en Jarmut;

And in En-rimmon, and in Zareah, and in Iarmuth,

30 en Zanoa, en Adulam, y en sus aldeas; en Laquis y sus tierras, y en Azeca y sus aldeas. Y habitaron desde Beerseba hasta el valle de Hinom.

Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, in Lachish, and in the fieldes thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof: and they dwelt from Beer-sheba, vnto the valley of Hinnom.

31 Y los hijos de Benjamín desde Geba en Micmas y Aía, y en Bet-el y sus aldeas;

And the sonnes of Beniamin from Geba, in Michmash, and Aiia, and Beth-el, and in the villages thereof,

32 en Anatot, Nob, Ananías;

Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,

33 Hazor, Ramá, Gitaim;

Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,

34 Hadid, Seboim, Nebalat;

Hadid, Zeboim, Nebalat,

35 Lod, y Ono, valle de los artífices.

Lod and Ono, in the carpenters valley.

36 Y algunos de los levitas, en los repartimientos de Judá y de Benjamín.

And of the Leuites were diuisions in Iudah and in Beniamin.
