San Mateo 7
1 No juzguéis, para que no seáis juzgados.
Judge not, that ye be not judged:
2 Porque con el juicio con que juzgáis, seréis juzgados; y con la medida con que medís, os volverán a medir.
for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured back again to you.
3 Y ¿por qué miras la mota que está en el ojo de tu hermano, y no echas de ver la viga que está en tu ojo?
And why dost thou look at the splinter in thy brother's eye, but takest no notice of the beam in thine own eye?
4 O ¿cómo dirás a tu hermano: Espera, echaré de tu ojo la mota, y he aquí hay una viga en tu ojo?
Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me take the chaff out of thine eye, and behold, there is a beam in thine own eye?
5 ¡Hipócrita! Echa primero la viga de tu ojo, y entonces mirarás en echar la mota del ojo de tu hermano.
Thou hypocrite, first get the beam out of thine own eye; and then thou wilt see how to take the splinter out of thy brother's eye.
6 No deis lo santo a los perros, ni echéis vuestras perlas delante de los puercos; no sea que las pisoteen, y se vuelvan y os despedacen.
Give not that which is holy unto dogs, nor cast your pearls before swine; least they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you.
7 Pedid, y se os dará; buscad, y hallaréis; tocad, y se os abrirá.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 Porque cualquiera que pide, recibe; y el que busca, halla; y al que toca, se le abre.
for every one, that asketh, receiveth; and he, that seeketh, findeth; and to him, that knocketh, it shall be opened.
9 ¿Qué hombre hay de vosotros, a quien si su hijo pidiere pan, le dará una piedra?
Is there any man among you, who, if his son ask him for bread, will give him a stone?
10 ¿Y si le pidiere un pez, le dará una serpiente?
or if he ask for a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 Pues si vosotros, siendo malos, sabéis dar buenas dádivas a vuestros hijos, ¿cuánto más vuestro Padre que está en los cielos, dará buenas cosas a los que le piden?
If ye then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to them that ask Him?
12 Así que, todas las cosas que quisiereis que los hombres hiciesen con vosotros, así también haced vosotros con ellos; porque esta es la ley y los profetas.
All things therefore whatsoever ye would have men do to you, do ye also in like manner unto them: for this is the doctrine of the law and the prophets.
13 Entrad por la puerta estrecha: porque el camino que lleva a perdición es ancho y espacioso; y los que van por él, son muchos.
Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be who go in thereat:
14 Porque estrecha es la puerta, y angosto el camino que lleva a la vida; y pocos son los que lo hallan.
whereas the gate is narrow, and the way troublesome, which leadeth into life, and few there be that find it.
15 También guardaos de los falsos profetas, que vienen a vosotros con vestidos de ovejas, mas de dentro son lobos robadores.
And beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16 Por sus frutos los conoceréis. ¿Se cogen uvas de los espinos, o higos de los abrojos?
Ye will know them by their fruits: do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 De esta manera, todo buen árbol lleva buenos frutos; mas el árbol podrido lleva malos frutos.
so every good tree yieldeth good fruit, but a corrupt tree produces bad fruit:
18 No puede el buen árbol llevar malos frutos, ni el árbol podrido llevar frutos buenos.
a good tree cannot produce evil fruit, nor can a corrupt tree bear good fruit:
19 Todo árbol que no lleva buen fruto, se corta y se echa en el fuego.
and every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
20 Así que, por sus frutos los conoceréis.
So then by their fruits ye will know them.
21 No todo el que me dice: Señor, Señor, entrará en el Reino de los cielos, sino el que hiciere la voluntad de mi Padre que está en los cielos.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doth the will of my Father, who is in heaven:
22 Muchos me dirán en aquel día: Señor, Señor, ¿no profetizamos en tu nombre, y en tu nombre sacamos demonios, y en tu nombre hicimos muchas grandezas?
many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name, and in thy name have cast out devils, and in thy name have wrought many miracles? and I will then declare unto them,
23 Y entonces les confesaré: Nunca os conocí; apartaos de mí, obradores de maldad.
I never owned you, depart from me, ye workers of iniquity.
24 Cualquiera, pues, que me oye estas palabras, y las hace, le compararé al varón prudente, que edificó su casa sobre la peña;
Whoever therefore heareth these words of mine, and performeth them, I will compare him to a prudent man, who built his house on a rock:
25 y descendió lluvia, y vinieron ríos, y soplaron vientos, y combatieron aquella casa; y no cayó, porque estaba fundada sobre la peña.
and the rain fell upon it, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell not; for it was founded upon a rock.
26 Y cualquiera que me oye estas palabras, y no las hace, le compararé al varón loco, que edificó su casa sobre la arena;
And whoever heareth these words of mine, and performeth them not, shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand:
27 y descendió lluvia, y vinieron ríos, y soplaron vientos, e hicieron ímpetu en aquella casa; y cayó; y fue grande su ruina.
and the rain fell upon it, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell, and the fall thereof was great.
28 Y cuando Jesús acabó estas palabras, la multitud se admiraba de su doctrina;
And when Jesus had ended these discourses, the people were amazed at his doctrine:
29 porque les enseñaba como quien tiene autoridad, y no como los escribas.
for he taught them as one who had authority, and not as the scribes.
