Josué 6
1 Pero Jericó estaba cerrada, bien cerrada, a causa de los hijos de Israel; nadie entraba, ni salía.
And Jericho [was] shutting and shut up because of [the] people of Israel there not [was one] going out and there not [was one] coming.
2 Mas el SEÑOR dijo a Josué: Mira, yo he entregado en tu mano a Jericó y a su rey, con sus varones de guerra.
And he said Yahweh to Joshua see I have given in hand your Jericho and king its [the] mighty [men] of strength.
3 Cercaréis pues la ciudad todos los hombres de guerra, yendo alrededor de la ciudad una vez; y esto haréis seis días.
And you will go around the city all [the] men of war you will encircle the city a time one thus you will do six days.
4 Y siete sacerdotes llevarán siete trompetas de cuernos de carneros delante del arca; y al séptimo día daréis siete vueltas a la ciudad, y los sacerdotes tocarán las trompetas.
And seven priests they will carry seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark and on the day seventh you will go round the city seven times and the priests they will give a blast on the trumpets.
5 Y cuando tocaren prolongadamente el cuerno de carnero, así que oyereis el sonido de la trompeta, todo el pueblo gritará a gran voz, y el muro de la ciudad caerá debajo de sí; entonces el pueblo subirá cada uno en derecho de sí.
And it will be when blow - on [the] horn of ram's horn (just as hear you *Q(K)*) [the] sound of the trumpet they will shout all the people a shout loud and it will fall [the] wall of the city in place its and they will go up the people everyone before himself.
6 Y llamando Josué hijo de Nun a los sacerdotes, les dijo: Llevad el arca del pacto, y siete sacerdotes lleven siete trompetas de cuernos de carneros delante del arca del SEÑOR.
And he called Joshua [the] son of Nun to the priests and he said to them lift up [the] ark of the covenant and seven priests they will carry seven trumpets of rams' horns before [the] ark of Yahweh.
7 Y dijo al pueblo: Pasad, y cercad la ciudad; y los que están armados pasarán delante del arca del SEÑOR.
(And he said *Q(K)*) to the people pass on and go round the city and the armed [man] he will pass on before [the] ark of Yahweh.
8 Y así que Josué hubo hablado al pueblo, los siete sacerdotes, llevando las siete trompetas de cuernos de carneros, pasaron delante del arca del SEÑOR, y tocaron las trompetas; y el arca del pacto del SEÑOR los seguía.
And it was when had said Joshua to the people and seven the priests [who] were carrying seven [the] trumpets of rams' horns before Yahweh they passed on and they gave a blast on the trumpets and [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh [was] going after them.
9 Y los armados iban delante de los sacerdotes que tocaban las trompetas, y la congregación iba detrás del arca, andando y tocando trompetas.
And the armed [man] [was] walking before the priests ([who] give a blast on *Q(K)*) the trumpets and the rearguard [was] walking behind the ark walking and giving blasts on the trumpets.
10 Y Josué mandó al pueblo, diciendo: Vosotros no daréis grita, ni se oirá vuestra voz, ni saldrá palabra de vuestra boca, hasta el día que yo os diga: Gritad; entonces daréis grita.
And the people he commanded Joshua saying not you must shout and not you must make heard voice your and not it will go out from mouth your a word until [the] day say I to you shout and you will shout.
11 El arca pues del SEÑOR dio una vuelta alrededor de la ciudad, y volvieron luego al real, en el cual pasaron la noche.
And he caused to go around [the] ark of Yahweh the city it encircled [it] a time one and they went the camp and they stayed in the camp.
12 Y Josué se levantó de mañana, y los sacerdotes tomaron el arca del SEÑOR.
And he rose early Joshua in the morning and they lifted the priests [the] ark of Yahweh.
13 Y los siete sacerdotes, llevando las siete trompetas de cuernos de carneros, fueron delante del arca del SEÑOR, andando siempre y tocando las trompetas; y los armados iban delante de ellos, y la congregación iba detrás del arca del SEÑOR, andando y tocando las trompetas.
And seven the priests [who] were carrying seven [the] trumpets of rams' horns before [the] ark of Yahweh [were] walking continuously and they gave blasts on the trumpets and the armed [man] [was] walking before them and the rearguard [was] walking behind [the] ark of Yahweh (walking *Q(K)*) and giving blasts on the trumpets.
14 Así dieron otra vuelta a la ciudad el segundo día, y volvieron al real; de esta manera hicieron por seis días.
And they went around the city on the day second a time one and they returned the camp thus they did six days.
15 Y al séptimo día se levantaron cuando subía el alba, y dieron vuelta a la ciudad de la misma manera siete veces; solamente este día dieron vuelta alrededor de ella siete veces.
And it was - on the day seventh and they rose early when came up the dawn and they went around the city according to the custom this seven times only on the day that they went round the city seven times.
16 Y cuando los sacerdotes hubieron tocado las trompetas la séptima vez, Josué dijo al pueblo: Dad grita, porque el SEÑOR os ha entregado la ciudad.
And it was at the time seventh they gave a blast the priests on the trumpets and he said Joshua to the people shout for he has given Yahweh to you the city.
17 Mas la ciudad será anatema al SEÑOR, ella con todas las cosas que están en ella; solamente Rahab la ramera vivirá, con todos los que estuvieren en casa con ella, por cuanto escondió los mensajeros que enviamos.
And it will be the city a devoted thing it and all that [is] in it to Yahweh only Rahab the prostitute she will live she and every [one] who [is] with her in the house for she hid the messengers whom we sent.
18 Pero guardaos vosotros del anatema, que ni toquéis, ni toméis alguna cosa del anatema, para que no hagáis anatema el campamento de Israel, y lo turbéis.
And only you keep from the devoted thing[s] lest you should totally destroy and you will take any of the devoted thing[s] and you will make [the] camp of Israel into a devoted thing and you will trouble it.
19 Mas todo el oro, y la plata, y vasos de bronce y de hierro, sea consagrado al SEÑOR, y venga al tesoro del SEÑOR.
And all - silver and gold and articles of bronze and iron [is] a holy thing it to Yahweh [the] treasury of Yahweh it will go.
20 Entonces el pueblo dio grita, y los sacerdotes tocaron las trompetas; y aconteció que cuando el pueblo hubo oído el sonido de la trompeta, dio el pueblo grita con gran vocerío, y el muro cayó a plomo. El pueblo subió luego a la ciudad, cada uno derecho hacia adelante, y la tomaron.
And it shouted the people and they gave a blast on the trumpets and it was when heard the people [the] sound of the trumpet and they shouted the people a shout loud and it fell the city wall in place its and it went up the people the city towards everyone before himself and they captured the city.
21 Y destruyeron todo lo que había en la ciudad; hombres y mujeres, mozos y viejos, hasta los bueyes, y ovejas, y asnos, a filo de espada.
And they totally destroyed all that [was] in the city from man and unto woman from young man and unto old [man] and unto ox[en] and sheep and donkey[s] to [the] mouth of [the] sword.
22 Mas Josué dijo a los dos varones que habían reconocido la tierra: Entrad en casa de la mujer ramera, y haced salir de allá a la mujer, y a todo lo que fuere suyo, como lo jurasteis.
And to two the men who had spied out the land he said Joshua go [the] house of the woman the prostitute and bring out from there the woman and every [one] who [belongs] to her just as you swore to her.
23 Y los jóvenes espías entraron, y sacaron a Rahab, y a su padre, y a su madre, y a sus hermanos, y todo lo que era suyo; y también sacaron a toda su parentela, y los pusieron fuera en el campamento de Israel.
And they went the young men who had spied out and they brought out Rahab and father her and mother her and brothers her and every [one] who [belonged] to her and all famili her they brought out and they put them from [the] outside of [the] camp of Israel.
24 Y quemaron a fuego la ciudad, y todo lo que en ella había; solamente pusieron en el tesoro de la casa del SEÑOR el oro, y la plata, y los vasos de bronce y de hierro.
And the city they burned with fire and all that [was] in it only - the silver and the gold and [the] articles of bronze and iron they put [the] treasury of [the] house of Yahweh.
25 Mas Josué dio la vida a Rahab la ramera, y a la casa de su padre, y a todo lo que ella tenía; y habitó ella entre los israelitas hasta hoy; por cuanto escondió los mensajeros que Josué envió a reconocer a Jericó.
And Rahab the prostitute and [the] household of father her and every [one] who [belonged] to her he let live Joshua and she has dwelt in [the] midst of Israel until the day this for she hid the messengers whom he had sent Joshua to spy out Jericho.
26 Y en aquel tiempo Josué juró diciendo: Maldito sea delante del SEÑOR el hombre que se levantare y reedificare esta ciudad de Jericó. En su primogénito eche sus cimientos, y en su menor asiente sus puertas.
And he administered an oath Joshua at the time that saying [is] cursed the person before Yahweh who he will arise and he will rebuild the city this Jericho with firstborn his he will found it and with young [son] his he will set up gates its.
27 Fue, pues, el SEÑOR con Josué, y su nombre se divulgó por toda la tierra.
And he was Yahweh with Joshua and it was [the] report of him in all the land.
