Josué 15
1 Y fue la suerte de la tribu de los hijos de Judá, por sus familias, junto al término de Edom, del desierto de Zin al mediodía, al lado del sur.
This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Iudah by their families: euen to the border of Edom and the wildernesse of Zin, Southward on the Southcoast.
2 Y su término de la parte del mediodía fue desde la costa del mar Salado, desde la lengua que mira hacia el mediodía;
And their South border was the salt Sea coast, from the point that looketh Southward.
3 y salía hacia el mediodía a la subida de Acrabim, pasando hasta Zin; y subiendo por el mediodía hasta Cades-barnea, pasaba a Hezrón, y subiendo por Adar daba vuelta a Carca;
And it went out on the Southside towarde Maaleth-akrabbim, and went along to Zin, and ascended vp on the Southside vnto Kadesh-barnea, and went along to Hezron, and went vp to Adar, and fet a compasse to Karkaa.
4 de allí pasaba a Asmón, y salía al arroyo de Egipto; y sale este término al occidente. Este pues os será el término del mediodía.
From thence went it along to Azmon, and reached vnto the riuer of Egypt, and the end of that coast was on the Westside: this shall be your South coast.
5 El término del oriente es el mar Salado hasta el fin del Jordán. Y el término de la parte del norte, desde la lengua del mar, desde el fin del Jordán;
Also the Eastborder shalbe the salt Sea, vnto the end of Iorden: and the border on the North quarter from the point of the Sea, and from the end of Iorden.
6 y sube este término por Bet-hogla, y pasa del norte a Bet-arabá, y de aquí sube este término a la piedra de Bohán, hijo de Rubén.
And this border goeth vp to Beth-hogla, and goeth along by ye Northside of Beth-arabah: so the border from thence goeth vp to the stone of Bohan the sonne of Reuben.
7 Y torna a subir este término a Debir desde el valle de Acor; y al norte mira sobre Gilgal, que está delante de la subida de Adumín, la cual está al mediodía del arroyo; y pasa este término a las aguas de En-semes, y sale a la fuente de Rogel;
Againe this border goeth vp to Debir from the valley of Achor, and Northwarde, turning toward Gilgal, that lyeth before the going vp to Adummim, which is on the Southside of the riuer: also this border goeth vp to the waters of En-shemesh, and endeth at En-rogel.
8 y sube este término por el valle del hijo de Hinom al lado del jebuseo al mediodía; ésta es Jerusalén. Luego sube este término por la cumbre del monte que está delante del valle de Hinom hacia el occidente, el cual está al cabo del valle de los gigantes al norte;
Then this border goeth vp to the valley of the sonne of Hinnom; on the Southside of the Iebusites: the same is Ierusalem. also this border goeth vp to the top of the mountaine that lyeth before the valley of Hinnom Westward, which is by the end of the valley of ye gyants Northward.
9 y rodea este término desde la cumbre del monte hasta la fuente de las aguas de Neftoa, y sale a la ciudades del monte de Efrón, rodeando luego el mismo término a Baala, la cual es Quiriat-jearim.
So this border compasseth from the top of the mountaine vnto the fountaine of the water of Nephtoah, and goeth out to the cities of mount Ephron: and this border draweth to Baalah, which is Kiriath-iearim.
10 Después torna este término desde Baala hacia el occidente al monte de Seir; y pasa al lado del monte de Jearim hacia el norte, ésta es Quesalón, y desciende a Bet-semes, y pasa a Timna.
Then this border compasseth from Baalah Westward vnto mount Seir, and goeth along vnto the side of mount Iearim, which is Chesalon on the Northside: so it commeth downe to Bethshemesh, and goeth to Timnah.
11 Sale luego este término al lado de Ecrón hacia el norte; y rodea el mismo término a Sicrón, y pasa por el monte de Baala, y sale a Jabneel; y sale este término al mar.
Also this border goeth out vnto the side of Ekron Northwarde: and this border draweth to Shicron, and goeth along to mount Baalah, and stretcheth vnto Iabneel: and the endes of this coast are to the Sea.
12 El término del occidente es el mar grande. Este pues, es el término de los hijos de Judá en derredor, por sus familias.
And the Westborder is to the great Sea: so this border shalbe the bounds of the children of Iudah round about, according to their families.
13 Mas a Caleb, hijo de Jefone, dio parte entre los hijos de Judá, conforme al mandamiento del SEÑOR a Josué; esto es, a Quiriat-arba, del padre de Anac, que es Hebrón.
And vnto Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh did Ioshua giue a part among the children of Iudah, as the Lord commanded him, euen Kiriath-arba of the father of Anak, which is Hebron.
14 Y Caleb echó de allí tres hijos de Anac, a Sesai, Ahimán, y Talmai, hijos de Anac.
And Caleb droue thence three sonnes of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the sonnes of Anak.
15 De aquí subió a los que moraban en Debir; y el nombre de Debir era antes Quiriat-sefer.
And he went vp thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before time was Kiriath-sepher.
16 Y dijo Caleb: Al que hiriere a Quiriat-sefer, y la tomare, yo le daré a mi hija Acsa por mujer.
Then Caleb sayd, He that smiteth Kiriath-sepher, and taketh it, euen to him wil I giue Achsah my daughter to wife.
17 Y la tomó Otoniel, hijo de Cenaz, hermano de Caleb; y él le dio por mujer a su hija Acsa.
And Othniel, the sonne of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb tooke it: and he gaue him Achsah his daughter to wife.
18 Y aconteció que cuando la llevaba, él la persuadió que pidiese a su padre tierras para labrar. Ella entonces se apeó del asno. Y Caleb le dijo: ¿Qué tienes?
And as she went in to him, she moued him, to aske of her father a fielde: and she lighted off her asse, and Caleb sayd vnto her, What wilt thou?
19 Y ella respondió: Dame una bendición; pues que me has dado tierra de secadal, dame también fuentes de aguas. El entonces le dio las fuentes de arriba, y las de abajo.
Then she answered, Giue me a blessing: for thou hast giuen mee the South countrey: giue me also springs of water. And hee gaue her the springs aboue and the springs beneath.
20 Esta pues es la herencia de la tribu de los hijos de Judá por sus familias.
This shalbe the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Iudah according to their families.
21 Y fueron las ciudades del término de la tribu de los hijos de Judá hacia el término de Edom al mediodía: Cabseel, y Edar, y Jagur,
And the vtmost cities of the tribe of the children of Iudah, toward the coastes of Edom Southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Iagur,
22 y Cina, y Dimona, y Adada,
And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,
23 y Cedes, y Hazor, e Itnán,
And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,
24 Zif, y Telem, Bealot,
Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,
25 y Hazor-hadata, y Queriot-hezrón, que es Hazor,
And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, Hesron (which is Hazor)
26 Amam, y Sema, y Molada,
Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,
27 y Hazar-gada, y Hesmón, y Bet-pelet,
And Hazar, Gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth-palet,
28 y Hazar-sual, Beerseba, y Bizotia,
And Hasar-shual, and Beersheba, and Biziothiah,
29 Baala, e Iim, y Esem,
Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,
30 y Eltolad, y Quesil, y Horma,
And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,
31 y Siclag, y Madmana, Sansana,
And Ziklag, and Madmanna, and Sansannah,
32 y Lebaot, Silhim, y Aín, y Rimón; en todas veintinueve ciudades con sus aldeas.
And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all these cities are twentie and nine with their villages.
33 En las llanuras, Estaol, y Zora, y Asena,
In the lowe countrey were Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
34 y Zanoa, y En-ganim, Tapúa, y Enam,
And Zanoah, and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam,
35 Jarmut, y Adulam, Soco, y Azeca,
Iarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,
36 y Saaraim, y Aditaim, y Gedera, y Gederotaim; catorce ciudades con sus aldeas.
And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim: fourteene cities with their villages.
37 Zenán, y Hadasa, y Migdal-gad,
Zenam, and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad,
38 y Dileán, y Mizpa, y Jocteel,
And Dileam, and Mizpeh, and Ioktheel,
39 Laquis, y Boscat, y Eglón,
Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,
40 y Cabón, y Lahmam, y Quitlis,
And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,
41 y Gederot, Bet-dagón, y Naama, y Maceda; dieciséis ciudades con sus aldeas.
And Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah: sixteene cities with their villages.
42 Libna, y Eter, y Asán,
Lebnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
43 y Jifta, y Asena, y Nezib,
And Iipthtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
44 y Keila, y Aczib, y Maresa; nueve ciudades con sus aldeas.
And Keilah, and Aczib, and Mareshah: nine cities with their villages.
45 Ecrón con sus villas y sus aldeas.
Ekron with her townes and her villages,
46 Desde Ecrón hasta el mar, todas las que están a la costa de Asdod con sus aldeas.
From Ekron, euen vnto the Sea, all that lyeth about Ashdod with their villages.
47 Asdod con sus villas y sus aldeas; Gaza con sus villas y sus aldeas hasta el río de Egipto, y la gran mar con sus términos.
Ashdod with her townes and her villages: Azzah with her townes and her villages, vnto the riuer of Egypt, and the great Sea was their coast.
48 Y en las montañas, Samir, y Jatir, y Soco,
And in the mountaines were Shamir, and Iattir, and Socoh,
49 y Dana, y Quiriat-sana, que es Debir,
And Dannah, and Kiriath-sannath (which is Debir)
50 y Anab, y Estemoa, y Anim,
And Anab, and Ashtemoth, and Anim,
51 y Gosén, y Holón, y Gilo; once ciudades con sus aldeas.
And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh: eleuen cities with their villages,
52 Arab, y Duma, y Esán,
Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,
53 y Janum, y Bet-tapúa, y Afeca,
And Ianum, and Beth-tappuah, and Aphekah,
54 y Humta, y Quiriat-arba, que es Hebrón, y Sior; nueve ciudades con sus aldeas.
And Humtah, and Kiriath-arba, (which is Hebron) and Zior: nine cities with their villages.
55 Maón, Carmel, y Zif, y Juta,
Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Iuttah,
56 Jezreel, Jocdeam, y Zanoa,
And Izreel, and Iokdeam, and Zanoah,
57 Caín, Gabaa, y Timna; diez ciudades con sus aldeas.
Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah: ten cities with their villages.
58 Halhul, y Bet-sur, y Gedor,
Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,
59 y Maarat, y Bet-anot, y Eltecón; seis ciudades con sus aldeas.
And Maarah, and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon: sixe cities with their villages.
60 Quiriat-baal, que es Quiriat-jearim, y Rabá; dos ciudades con sus aldeas.
Kiriath-baal, which is Kiriath-iearim, and Rabbah: two cities with their villages.
61 En el desierto, Bet-arabá, Midín, y Secaca,
In the wildernes were Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah,
62 y Nibsán, y la Ciudad de la Sal, y Engadi; seis ciudades con sus aldeas.
And Nibshan, and the citie of salt, and Engedi: sixe cities with their villages.
63 Mas a los jebuseos que habitaban en Jerusalén, los hijos de Judá no los pudieron desarraigar; antes quedó el jebuseo en Jerusalén con los hijos de Judá, hasta hoy.
Neuerthelesse, the Iebusites that were the inhabitants of Ierusalem, could not the children of Iudah cast out, but the Iebusites dwell with the children of Iudah at Ierusalem vnto this day.
