Job 26
1 Y respondió Job, y dijo:
But Job answered and said,
2 ¿En qué ayudaste al que no tiene fuerza? ¿Has salvado con tu brazo al que no tiene fortaleza?
How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?
3 ¿En qué aconsejaste al que no tiene ciencia, y mostraste bien tu sabiduría?
How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou abundantly declared the thing as it is?
4 ¿A quién has anunciado palabras, y de quién es el espíritu que de ti sale?
To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
5 Cosas muertas son formadas debajo de las aguas, y de sus cavernas.
Dead things are formed from under the waters, and its inhabitants.
Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering. (Sheol h7585)
7 Extiende el aquilón sobre vacío, cuelga la tierra sobre nada.
He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
8 Ata las aguas en sus nubes, y las nubes no se rompen debajo de ellas.
He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not torn under them.
9 El aprieta la faz de su trono, y extiende sobre él su nube.
He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
10 El cercó con término la superficie de las aguas, hasta que se acabe la luz y las tinieblas.
He hath surrounded the waters with a border, until the day and night come to an end.
11 Las columnas del cielo tiemblan, y se espantan de su reprensión.
The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.
12 El rompe el mar con su potencia, y con su entendimiento hiere la hinchazón suya.
He divideth the sea by his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.
13 Su espíritu adornó los cielos; su mano creó la serpiente huidora.
By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
14 He aquí, éstas son partes de sus caminos; ¡y cuán poco es lo que hemos oído de él! Porque el estruendo de sus fortalezas, ¿quién lo entenderá?
Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
