Génesis 25
1 Y Abraham tomó otra mujer, cuyo nombre fue Cetura;
Forsothe Abraham weddide another wijf, Ceture bi name,
2 la cual le dio a luz a Zimram, y a Jocsán, y a Medán, y a Madián, y a Isbac, y a Súa.
which childide to him Samram, and Jexan, and Madan, and Madian, and Jesboth, and Sue.
3 Y Jocsán engendró a Seba, y a Dedán: e hijos de Dedán fueron Asurim, y Letusim, y Leumim.
Also Jexan gendride Saba and Dadan. Forsothe the sones of Dadan weren Asurym, and Lathusym, and Laomym.
4 E hijos de Madián: Efa, y Efer, y Hanoc, y Abida, y Elda. Todos estos fueron hijos de Cetura.
And sotheli of Madian was borun Efa, and Ofer, and Enoth, and Abida, and Heldaa; alle these weren the sones of Cethure.
5 Y Abraham dio todo cuanto tenía a Isaac.
And Abraham yaf alle thingis whiche he hadde in possessioun to Isaac;
6 Y a los hijos de sus concubinas dio Abraham dones, y los envió de junto Isaac su hijo, mientras él vivió, al oriente, a la tierra oriental.
sotheli he yaf yiftis to the sones of concubyns; and Abraham, while he lyuede yit, departide hem fro Ysaac, his sone, to the eest coost.
7 Y estos fueron los días de vida que vivió Abraham: ciento setenta y cinco años.

8 Y expiró, y murió Abraham en buena vejez, anciano y lleno de días y fue unido a su pueblo.
and he failide, and diede in good eelde, and of greet age, and ful of daies, and he was gaderid to his puple.
9 Y lo sepultaron Isaac e Ismael sus hijos en la cueva doble, en la heredad de Efrón, hijo de Zoar heteo, que está enfrente de Mamre;
And Ysaac and Ismael, his sones, birieden him in the double denne, which is set in the feeld of Efron, sone of Seor Ethei,
10 la heredad que compró Abraham de los hijos de Het; allí está sepultado, y Sara su mujer.
euene ayens Mambre, which denne he bouyte of the sones of Heth; and he was biried there, and Sare his wijf.
11 Y sucedió, después de muerto Abraham, que Dios bendijo a Isaac su hijo; y habitó Isaac junto al pozo del Viviente que me ve.
And aftir the deeth of Abraham God blesside Isaac his sone, which dwellide bisidis the pit bi name of hym that lyueth and seeth.
12 Y estas son las generaciones de Ismael, hijo de Abraham, que dio a luz Agar, la egipcia, sierva de Sara a Abraham:
These ben the generaciouns of Ismael, sone of Abraham, whom Agar Egipcian, seruauntesse of Sare, childide to Abraham;
13 Estos, pues, son los nombres de los hijos de Ismael, por sus nombres, por sus linajes: El primogénito de Ismael, Nabaiot; y Cedar, y Abdeel, y Mibsam,
and these ben the names of the sones of Ismael, in her names and generaciouns. The firste gendride of Ismael was Nabaioth, aftirward Cedar, and Abdeel, and Mabsan,
14 y Misma, y Duma, y Massa,
and Masma, and Duma, and Massa,
15 Hadar, y Tema, y Jetur, y Nafis, y Cedema.
and Adad, and Thema, and Ithur, and Nafir, and Cedma.
16 Estos son los hijos de Ismael, y estos sus nombres por sus villas y por sus palacios; doce príncipes por sus familias.
These weren the sones of Ismael, and these weren names by castels and townes of hem, twelue princes of her lynagis.
17 Y estos fueron los años de la vida de Ismael, ciento treinta y siete años; y expiró y murió Ismael; y fue unido a su pueblo.
And the yeeris of lijf of Ismael weren maad an hundrid and seuene and thretti, and he failide, and diede, and was put to his puple.
18 Y habitaron desde Havila hasta Shur, que está enfrente de Egipto, viniendo a Asiria; y delante de todos sus hermanos cayó.

19 Y estas son las generaciones de Isaac, hijo de Abraham. Abraham engendró a Isaac;
Also these ben the generaciouns of Ysaac sone of Abraham. Abraham gendride Isaac,
20 y era Isaac de cuarenta años cuando tomó a Rebeca, hija de Betuel, el arameo, de Padan-aram, hermana de Labán, el arameo, por su mujer.
and whanne Isaac was of fourti yeer, he weddide a wijf, Rebecca, douyter of Batuel, of Sirie of Mesopotanye, the sistir of Laban.
21 Y oró Isaac al SEÑOR por su mujer, que era estéril; y lo aceptó el SEÑOR, y concibió Rebeca su mujer.
And Isaac bisouyte the Lord for his wijf, for sche was bareyn; and the Lord herde him, and yaf conseiuyng to Rebecca.
22 Y los hijos se combatían dentro de ella; y dijo: Si es así ¿para qué vivo yo? Y fue a consultar al SEÑOR.
But the litle children weren hurtlid togidre in hir wombe; and sche seide, If it was so to comynge to me, what nede was it to conseyue? And sche yede and axide counsel of the Lord,
23 Y le respondió el SEÑOR: Dos naciones hay en tu vientre, y dos pueblos serán divididos desde tus entrañas; mas un pueblo será más fuerte que el otro pueblo, y el mayor servirá al menor.
which answerde, and seide, Twei folkis ben in thi wombe, and twei puplis schulen be departid fro thi wombe, and a puple schal ouercome a puple, and the more schal serue the lesse.
24 Y cuando se cumplieron sus días para dar a luz, he aquí mellizos en su vientre.
Thanne the tyme of childberyng cam, and lo! twei children weren foundun in hir wombe.
25 Y salió el primero bermejo, y todo él velludo como una pelliza; y llamaron su nombre Esaú.
He that yede out first was reed, and al rouy in the manere of a skyn; and his name was clepid Esau.
26 Y después salió su hermano, trabada su mano al calcañar de Esaú; y fue llamado su nombre Jacob. Y era Isaac de edad de sesenta años cuando Rebeca los dio a luz.
Anoon the tothir yede out, and helde with the hond the heele of the brother; and therfore he clepide him Jacob. Isaac was sixti yeer eeld, whanne the litle children weren borun.
27 Y crecieron los niños, y Esaú fue varón sabio en la caza, hombre del campo; Jacob, empero, era varón entero, que estaba en las tiendas.
And whanne thei weren woxun, Esau was maad a man kunnynge of huntyng, and a man erthe tilier; forsothe Jacob was a symple man, and dwellide in tabernaclis.
28 Y amó Isaac a Esaú, porque comía de su caza; mas Rebeca amaba a Jacob.
Isaac louyde Esau, for he eet of the huntyng of Esau; and Rebecca louyde Jacob.
29 Y guisó Jacob un potaje; y volviendo Esaú del campo cansado,
Sotheli Jacob sethide potage; and whanne Esau cam weri fro the feld,
30 dijo a Jacob: Te ruego que me des a comer de eso bermejo, pues estoy muy cansado. Por tanto fue llamado su nombre Edom.
he seide to Jacob, Yyue thou to me of this reed sething, for Y am ful weri; for which cause his name was clepid Edom.
31 Y Jacob respondió: Véndeme hoy en este día tu primogenitura.
And Jacob seide to him, Sille to me the riyt of the first gendrid childe.
32 Entonces dijo Esaú: He aquí yo me voy a morir; ¿para qué, pues, me servirá la primogenitura?
He answerde, Lo! Y die, what schulen the firste gendrid thingis profite to me?
33 Y dijo Jacob: Júrame hoy en este día. Y él le juró, y vendió a Jacob su primogenitura.
Jacob seide, therfor swere thou to me. Therfor Esau swoor, and selde the firste gendrid thingis.
34 Entonces Jacob dio a Esaú del pan y del guisado de las lentejas; y él comió y bebió, y se levantó, y se fue. Así menospreció Esaú la primogenitura.
And so whanne he hadde take breed and potage, Esau eet and drank, and yede forth, and chargide litil that he hadde seld the riyt of the firste gendrid child.
