2 Crónicas 4
1 Hizo además un altar de bronce de veinte codos de longitud, y veinte codos de anchura, y diez codos de altura.
And he made a brazen altar, the length of it twenty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits, and the height ten cubits.
2 También hizo un mar de fundición, el cual tenía diez codos de un borde al otro, enteramente redondo; su altura era de cinco codos, y una línea de treinta codos lo ceñía alrededor.
And he made the molten sea, in diameter ten cubits, entirely round, and the height of it five cubits, and the circumference thirty cubits.
3 Y debajo de él había figuras de bueyes que lo circundaban, diez en cada codo todo alrededor; eran dos órdenes de bueyes fundidos juntamente con el mar.
And beneath it the likeness of calves, they compass it round about: ten cubits compass the laver round about, they cast the calves two rows in their casting,
4 Y estaba asentado sobre doce bueyes, tres de los cuales miraban al septentrión, y tres al occidente, y tres al mediodía, y tres al oriente; y el mar asentaba sobre ellos, y todas sus traseras estaban a la parte de adentro.
wherein they made them twelve calves, —three looking northwards, and three westwards, and three southwards, and three eastwards: and the sea was upon them above, [and] their hinder parts were inward.
5 Y tenía de grueso un palmo, y el borde era de la hechura del borde de un cáliz, o flor de lis. Y hacía tres mil batos.
And its thickness was a hand-breadth, and its brim as the brim of a cup, graven with flowers of lilies, holding three thousand measures: and he finished [it].
6 Hizo también diez fuentes, y puso cinco a la mano derecha y cinco a la izquierda, para lavar y limpiar en ellas la obra del holocausto; mas el mar era para lavarse los sacerdotes en él.
And he made ten lavers, and set five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them the instruments of the whole burnt offerings, and to rinse [the vessels] in them; and the sea [was] for the priests to wash in.
7 Hizo asimismo diez candeleros de oro según su forma, los cuales puso en el templo, cinco a la mano derecha, y cinco a la izquierda.
And he made the ten golden candlesticks according to their pattern, and he put them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.
8 Además hizo diez mesas y las puso en el templo, cinco a la mano derecha, y cinco a la izquierda; igualmente hizo cien tazones de oro.
And he made ten tables, and put them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left: and he made a hundred golden bowls.
9 A más de esto hizo el atrio de los sacerdotes, y el gran atrio, y las portadas del atrio, y cubrió las puertas de ellas de bronce.
Also he made the priests' court, and the great court, and doors to the court, and their panels [were] overlaid with brass.
10 Y asentó el mar al lado derecho hacia el oriente, enfrente del mediodía.
And he set the sea at the corner of the house on the right, as it were fronting the east.
11 Hizo también Hiram calderos, y palas, y tazones; y acabó Hiram la obra que hacía al rey Salomón para la Casa de Dios.
And Chiram made the flesh hooks, and the fire-pans, and the grate of the altar, and all its instruments: and Chiram finished doing all the work which he wrought for king Solomon in the house of God:
12 Dos columnas, y los cordones, los capiteles sobre las cabezas de las dos columnas, y dos redes para cubrir las dos bolas de los capiteles que estaban encima de las columnas;
two pillars, and upon them an embossed work for the chapiters on the heads of the two pillars, and two nets to cover the heads of the chapiters which are on the heads of the pillars;
13 cuatrocientas granadas en las dos redecillas, dos órdenes de granadas en cada redecilla, para que cubriesen las dos bolas de los capiteles que estaban encima de las columnas.
and four hundred golden bells for the two nets, and two rows of pomegranates in each net, to cover the two embossed rims of the chapiters which are upon the pillars.
14 Hizo también las basas, sobre las cuales asentó las fuentes;
And he made the ten bases, and he made the lavers upon the bases;
15 un mar, y doce bueyes debajo de él;
and the one sea, and the twelve calves under it;
16 y calderos, y palas, y garfios; y todos sus vasos hizo Hiram su padre al rey Salomón para la Casa del SEÑOR, de bronce purísimo.
and the foot-baths, and the buckets, and the caldrons, and the flesh hooks, and all their furniture (which Chiram made, and brought to king Solomon in the house of the Lord) of pure brass.
17 Y los fundió el rey en los llanos del Jordán, arcilla de la tierra, entre Sucot y Seredata.
In the country round about Jordan the king cast them, in the clay ground in the house of Socchoth, and between [that and] Saredatha.
18 Y Salomón hizo todos estos vasos en grande abundancia, porque no pudo ser hallado el peso del bronce.
So Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance, for the quantity of brass failed not.
19 Así hizo Salomón todos los vasos para la Casa de Dios, y el altar de oro, y las mesas sobre las cuales se ponían los panes de la proposición;
And Solomon made all the vessels of the house of the Lord, and the golden altar, and the tables, and upon them [were to be] the loaves of show bread;
20 asimismo los candeleros y sus candilejas, de oro puro, para que las encendiesen delante del oratorio conforme a la costumbre.
also the candlesticks, and the lamps to give light according to the pattern, and in front of the oracle, of pure gold.
21 Y las flores, y las candilejas, y las despabiladeras se hicieron de oro, de oro perfecto;
And their snuffers, and their lamps [were made], and [he made] the bowls, and the censers, and the fire-pans, of pure gold.
22 también las tenazas, y los tazones, y los cucharros, y los incensarios, de oro puro. En cuanto a la entrada de la Casa, sus puertas interiores para el lugar santísimo, y las puertas de la Casa del templo, de oro.
And [there was] the inner door of the house [opening] into the holy of holies, and [he made] the inner doors of the temple of gold. So all the work which Solomon wrought for the house of the Lord was finished.
