1 Mas su casa la edificó Salomón en trece años, y la acabó toda.
But his own house was Solomon building thirteen years, and then he finished all his house.
2 Y asimismo edificó la casa del bosque del Líbano, la cual tenía cien codos de longitud, y cincuenta codos de anchura, y treinta codos de altura, sobre cuatro órdenes de columnas de cedro, con vigas de cedro sobre las columnas.
He built also the house of the forest of Lebanon: a hundred cubits was its length, and fifty cubits was its breadth, and thirty cubits was its height, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.
3 Y estaba cubierta de tablas de cedro arriba sobre las vigas, que se apoyaban en cuarenta y cinco columnas; cada hilera tenía quince columnas.
And it was covered with cedar above over the beams, that lay on the forty-five pillars, fifteen in a row.
4 Las ventanas estaban por tres órdenes, una ventana contra la otra por tres órdenes.
And there were window-spaces in three rows, and windows were opposite each other in three ranks.
5 Y todas la puertas y postes eran cuadrados; y unas ventanas estaban frente a las otras en tres órdenes.
And all the entrances and door-posts formed a square in shape: and windows were opposite windows in three ranks.
6 También hizo un portal de columnas, que tenía de largo cincuenta codos, y treinta codos de ancho; y aquel portal estaba delante de aquellas otras, con sus columnas y maderos correspondientes.
And he made a porch of pillars: fifty cubits was its length, and thirty cubits its breadth; and the porch was before them; and the other pillars with an entablature before them.
7 Hizo asimismo el portal del trono en que había de juzgar, que es el portal del juicio, y lo vistió de cedro de suelo a suelo.
Then he made a porch for the throne where he might judge, the porch of judgment: and it was covered with cedar from one side of the floor to the other.
8 Y en la casa en que él moraba, había otra sala dentro del portal, de obra semejante a ésta. Edificó también Salomón una casa para la hija de Faraón, que había tomado por mujer, de la misma obra de aquel portal.
And his house where he dwelt in another court within the porch, was of the like work: and Solomon made also a house for Pharaoh's daughter, whom he had taken for wife, like unto this porch.
9 Todas aquellas obras fueron de piedras de precio, cortadas y aserradas con sierras según las medidas, así por dentro como por fuera, desde el cimiento hasta las vigas, y asimismo por fuera hasta el gran atrio.
All these were of heavy stones, hewn after a fixed measure, sawed with the saw inside and outside, even from the foundation unto the coping, and from the outside unto the great court.
10 El cimiento era de piedras de precio, de piedras grandes, de piedras de diez codos, y de piedras de ocho codos.
And the foundation was of heavy stones, large stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits.
11 De allí arriba eran también piedras de precio, labradas conforme a sus medidas, y obra de cedro.
And above were heavy stones, hewn after a fixed measure, and cedars.
12 Y en el gran atrio alrededor había tres órdenes de piedras labradas, y un orden de vigas de cedro; y así el atrio interior de la Casa del SEÑOR, y el atrio de la Casa.
And the great court round about was of three rows of hewn stones, and one row of cedar beams, both for the inner court of the house of the Lord, and for the porch of the house.
13 Y envió el rey Salomón, e hizo venir de Tiro a Hiram,
And king Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.
14 el cual era hijo de una viuda de la tribu de Neftalí, y su padre había sido de Tiro; que labraba en bronce, lleno de sabiduría y de inteligencia y saber en toda obra de bronce. Este pues vino al rey Salomón, e hizo toda su obra.
He was the son of a widow of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in copper: and he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and knowledge, to make every work in copper; and he came to king Solomon, and did all his work.
15 Este hizo dos columnas de bronce, la altura de cada cual era de dieciocho codos; y rodeaba a una y a otra columna un hilo de doce codos.
And he cast two pillars of copper, eighteen cubits was the height of the one pillar; and a line of twelve cubits did encompass the second pillar.
16 Hizo también dos capiteles de fundición de bronce, para que fuesen puestos sobre las cabezas de las columnas; la altura de un capitel era de cinco codos, y la del otro capitel de cinco codos.
And he made two capitals, to set upon the tops of the pillars, of molten copper; five cubits was the height of the one capital, and five cubits was the height of the other capital;
17 E hizo unas trenzas a manera de red, y unas cintas a manera de cadenas, para los capiteles que se habían de poner sobre las cabezas de las columnas; siete para cada capitel.
And nets of checker-work, and wreaths of chain-work, for the capitals which were upon the top of the pillars; seven for the one capital, and seven for the other capital.
18 Y cuando hubo hecho las columnas, hizo también dos órdenes de granadas alrededor en el enredado, para cubrir los capiteles que estaban en las cabezas de las columnas con las granadas; y de la misma forma hizo en el otro capitel.
And he made the pillars, so that two rows of pomegranates were round about upon the one net-work, to cover the capitals that were upon the top: and the same he made for the other capital.
19 Los capiteles que estaban sobre las columnas tenían forma de flores como las que se veían en el portal, por cuatro codos.
And the capitals, that were upon the top of the pillars, furnished with lily-work, [as] those in the porch, were four cubits.
20 Los capiteles que estaban sobre las dos columnas tenían también doscientas granadas en dos órdenes alrededor en cada capitel, encima del vientre del capitel, el cual vientre estaba delante del enredado.
And the capitals upon the two pillars rose also above, close by the rounding which was on the side of the network: and the pomegranates were two hundred, in rows round about, upon either capital.
21 Estas columnas puso enhiestas en el portal del templo. Y cuando hubo enhestado la columna de la mano derecha, le puso por nombre Jaquín ( El SEÑOR establece ); y enhestando la columna de la mano izquierda, le puso su nombre Boaz ( Solo en El hay fortaleza ).
And he set up the pillars for the porch of the temple; and he set up the right pillar, and called its name Yachin; and he set up the left pillar, and called its name Boaz.
22 En las cabezas de las columnas había una obra de lirios; y así se acabó la obra de las columnas.
And upon the top of the pillars there was lily-work: and so was finished the work of the pillars.
23 Hizo asimismo un mar de fundición, de diez codos de un lado al otro, perfectamente redondo; su altura era de cinco codos, y lo ceñía alrededor un cordón de treinta codos.
And he made the molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other, rounded all about, and it was five cubits in height: and a line of thirty cubits did encompass it round about.
24 Y cercaban aquel mar por debajo de su labio en derredor unas bolas como calabazas, diez en cada codo, que ceñían el mar alrededor en dos órdenes, las cuales habían sido fundidas cuando él fue fundido.
And colocynth-shaped knobs were under its brim round about encompassing it, ten in a cubit, encircling the sea round about: the colocynths were in two rows, and were cast [with it] when it was cast.
25 Y estaba asentado sobre doce bueyes; tres miraban al norte, y tres miraban al poniente, y tres miraban al mediodía, y tres miraban al oriente; sobre éstos se apoyaba el mar, y los traseros de ellos estaban hacia la parte de adentro.
It was standing upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east; and the sea was resting above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
26 El grueso del mar era de un palmo, y su labio era labrado como el labio de un cáliz, o de flor de lis; y cabían en él dos mil batos.
And its thickness was a hand's breadth, and its brim was wrought like the brim of a cup, with lily-buds: it could contain two thousand baths.
27 Hizo también diez basas de bronce, siendo la longitud de cada basa de cuatro codos, y la anchura de cuatro codos, y de tres codos la altura.
And he made ten bases of copper: four cubits was the length of each one base, and four cubits its breadth, and three cubits its height.
28 La obra de las basas era ésta: tenían unas cintas, las cuales estaban entre molduras;
And this was the workmanship of the bases: They had borders, and the borders were between the corner ledges;
29 y sobre aquellas cintas que estaban entre las molduras, figuras de leones, y de bueyes, y de querubines; y sobre las molduras de la basa, así encima como debajo de los leones y de los bueyes, había unas añadiduras de bajo relieve.
And on the borders that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and upon the corner ledges it was thus also above; and likewise beneath the lions and oxen were pendant wreaths of plated work.
30 Cada basa tenía cuatro ruedas de bronce con mesas de bronce; y en sus cuatro esquinas había unos hombrillos, los cuales nacían de fundición a cada lado de aquellas añadiduras, para estar debajo de la fuente.
And every base had four copper wheels, and axles of copper; and its four corners had undersetters; under the laver were the undersetters cast on; at the side of each were pendants.
31 Su boca entraba en el capitel ( en el remate que salía de la basa ) un codo para arriba; y era su boca redonda, de la hechura ( del mismo remate ) de la basa, de codo y medio. Había también sobre la boca entalladuras con sus cintas, las cuales eran cuadradas, no redondas.
And its mouth was within the capital and above a cubit in height; but the mouth of this was rounded after the work of the base, a cubit and a half cubit; and also upon its mouth were carvings; and their borders were square, not rounded.
32 Las cuatro ruedas estaban debajo de las cintas, y los ejes de las ruedas nacían en la misma basa. La altura de cada rueda era de un codo y medio.
And the four wheels were under the borders; and the axletrees of the wheels were joined to the base: and the height of each one wheel was a cubit and a half cubit.
33 Y la hechura de las ruedas era como la hechura de las ruedas de un carro; sus ejes, sus rayos, y sus cubos, y sus cinchos, todo era de fundición.
And the workmanship of the wheels was like the workmanship of a chariot-wheel: their axletrees, and their naves, and their felloes, and their spokes, were all cast.
34 Asimismo los cuatro hombrillos a las cuatro esquinas de cada basa; y los hombrillos eran de la misma basa.
And there were four undersetters to the four corners of each one base; the undersetters were of one piece with the base itself.
35 Y en lo alto de la basa había medio codo de altura redondo por todas partes; y encima de la basa sus molduras y cintas, las cuales eran de ella misma.
And on the top of the base was a rounded compass of half a cubit high: and on the top of the base were its side-ledges; and its borders were of one piece with itself.
36 E hizo en las tablas de las molduras, y en las cintas, entalladuras de querubines, y de leones, y de palmas, delante de las añadiduras de cada una alrededor.
And he engraved on the plates of its side-ledges and on its borders, cherubim, lions, and palm-trees: and in the open space of every one were pendant wreaths round about.
37 De esta forma hizo diez basas fundidas de una misma manera, de una misma medida, y de una misma entalladura.
After this manner did he make the ten bases: one casting, one measure, one form, was there for all of them.
38 Hizo también diez fuentes de bronce; cada fuente contenía cuarenta batos, y cada una era de cuatro codos; y asentó una fuente sobre cada una de las diez basas.
Then made he ten lavers of copper; forty baths could each one laver contain; every laver was four cubits: each one laver was upon each one base of the ten bases.
39 Y puso cinco basas a la mano derecha de la Casa, y las otras cinco a la mano izquierda de la Casa; y asentó el mar al lado derecho de la Casa, al oriente, hacia el mediodía.
And he put the bases, five on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house: and the sea he set on the right side of the house eastward opposite the south.
40 Asimismo hizo Hiram fuentes, y tenazas, y cuencos. Así acabó toda la obra que hizo a Salomón para la Casa del SEÑOR:
And Hiram made the lavers, and the shovels, and the basins; so Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he made for king Solomon for the house of the Lord.
41 Es a saber, dos columnas, y los vasos redondos de los capiteles que estaban en lo alto de las dos columnas; y dos redes que cubrían los dos vasos redondos de los capiteles que estaban sobre la cabeza de las columnas;
The two pillars, and the two bowl-shaped capitals that were on the top of the two pillars; and the two net-works, to cover the two bowl-shaped capitals which were upon the top of the pillars;
42 y cuatrocientas granadas para las dos redes, es a saber, dos órdenes de granadas en cada red, para cubrir los dos vasos redondos que estaban sobre las cabezas de las columnas;
And the four hundred pomegranates for the two net-works, two rows of pomegranates for each one net-work, to cover the two bowl-shaped, capitals that were upon the front of the pillars;
43 y las diez basas, y las diez fuentes sobre las basas;
And the ten bases, and the ten lavers upon the bases;
44 y un mar, y doce bueyes debajo del mar;
And the one sea, and the twelve oxen under the sea;
45 y calderos, y tenazas, y cuencos; y todos los otros vasos que Hiram hizo al rey Salomón, para la Casa del SEÑOR de bronce bruñido.
And the pots, and the shovels, and the basins; and all these vessels, which Hiram had made for king Solomon for the house of the Lord, were of polished copper.
46 Todo lo hizo fundir el rey en la llanura del Jordán, en tierra arcillosa, entre Sucot y Saretán.
In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay-ground between Succoth and Zarethan.
47 Y dejó Salomón sin inquirir el peso del bronce de todos los vasos, por la grande multitud de ellos.
And Solomon set down all the vessels [unweighed], because they were exceedingly many: the weight of the copper was not inquired into.
48 E hizo Salomón todos los vasos que pertenecían a la Casa del SEÑOR; un altar de oro, y una mesa sobre la cual estaban los panes de la proposición, también de oro;
And Solomon made all the vessels that pertained unto the house of the Lord: The altar of gold, and the table whereupon the show-bread was, of gold,
49 y los candeleros de oro purísimo, cinco a la mano derecha, y otros cinco a la izquierda, delante del oratorio; con las flores, y las lámparas, y despabiladeras de oro;
And the candlesticks, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the debir, of pure gold, with the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold,
50 asimismo los cántaros, vasos, cuencos, cucharros, e incensarios, de oro purísimo; también de oro los quiciales de las puertas de la Casa de adentro, es a saber del lugar santísimo, y los de las puertas del templo.
And the bowls, and the knives, and the basins, and the spoons, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges, for the doors of the inner house, for the holy of holies, for the doors of the house, and for the temple, [were] of gold.
51 Así se acabó toda la obra que dispuso hacer el rey Salomón para la Casa del SEÑOR. Y metió Salomón lo que David su padre había dedicado ( Heb. las santidades de David ), es a saber, plata, y oro, y vasos, y lo puso todo en guarda en las tesorerías de la Casa del SEÑOR.
And so was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the Lord: and Solomon brought in the things sanctified by David his father, the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, [and] he placed [these] in the treasuries of the house of the Lord.
