1 Crónicas 25

1 Asimismo David y los príncipes del ejército apartaron para el ministerio a los hijos de Asaf, y de Hemán, y de Jedutún, los cuales profetizasen con arpas, salterios, y címbalos; y el número de ellos fue, de los varones idóneos para la obra de su ministerio respectivo:

Then David and the magistrates of the army set apart, for the ministry, the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who were to prophesy with harps and psalteries and cymbals, in accord with their number, having been dedicated to their appointed office.

2 De los hijos de Asaf: Zacur, José, Netanías, y Asarela, hijos de Asaf, bajo la dirección de Asaf, el cual profetizaba a la mano del rey.

From the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah, the sons of Asaph, under the hand of Asaph, prophesying beside the king.

3 De Jedetún, los hijos de Jedetún: Gedalías, Zeri, Jesaías, Hasabías, y Matatías: seis, bajo la mano de su padre Jedetún, el cual profetizaba con arpa, para confesar y alabar al SEÑOR.

Then of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, and Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hand of their father Jeduthun, who was prophesying with stringed instruments, while confessing and praising the Lord.

4 De Hemán: los hijos de Hemán; Buquías, Matanías, Uziel, Sebuel, Jeremot, Hananías, Hanani, Eliata, Gidalti, Romanti-ezer, Josbecasa, Maloti, Hotir, y Mahaziot.

Also, of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, and Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.

5 Todos estos fueron hijos de Hemán, vidente del rey en palabras de Dios, para ensalzar cuerno; y Dios dio a Hemán catorce hijos y tres hijas.

All these were the sons of Heman, the seer of the king in the words of God, in order to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

6 Y todos estos estaban bajo la dirección de su padre en la música, en la Casa del SEÑOR, con címbalos, salterios y arpas, para el ministerio del templo de Dios, bajo la mano del rey, de Asaf, de Jedetún, y de Hemán.

All these, under their father’s hand, were distributed in order to sing in the temple of the Lord, with cymbals and psalteries and harps, in the ministry of the house of the Lord beside the king, specifically, Asaph, and Jeduthun, and Heman.

7 Y el número de ellos con sus hermanos sabios en música del SEÑOR, todos los sabios, fue doscientos ochenta y ocho.

Now the number of these, with their brothers, who were instructing in the song of the Lord, all the teachers, were two hundred eighty-eight.

8 Asimismo echaron suertes guarda contra guarda, el chico con el grande, el sabio con el discípulo.

And they cast lots in their turns, the elder equally with the younger, the learned together with the unlearned.

9 Y la primera suerte salió a Asaf, por José; la segunda por Gedalías, quien con sus hermanos e hijos fueron doce;

And the first lot went forth to Joseph, who was of Asaph; the second went forth to Gedaliah, to him and his sons and his brothers, twelve.

10 la tercera por Zacur, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The third went to Zaccur, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

11 la cuarta por Izri, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The fourth went to Izri, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

12 la quinta por Netanías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The fifth went to Nethaniah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

13 la sexta por Buquías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The sixth went to Bukkiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

14 la séptima por Jesarela, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The seventh went to Jesharelah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

15 la octava por Jesahías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The eighth went to Jeshaiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

16 la novena por Matanías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The ninth went to Mattaniah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

17 la décima por Simei, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The tenth went to Shimei, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

18 la undécima por Azareel, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The eleventh went to Azarel, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

19 la duodécima por Hasabías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The twelfth went to Hashabiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

20 la decimatercera por Subael, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The thirteenth went to Shubael, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

21 la decimacuarta por Matatías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The fourteenth went to Mattithiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

22 la decimaquinta por Jeremot, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The fifteenth went to Jeremoth, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

23 la decimasexta por Hananías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The sixteenth went to Hananiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

24 la decimaséptima por Josbecasa, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The seventeenth went to Joshbekashah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

25 la decimaoctava por Hanani, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The eighteenth went to Hanani, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

26 la decimanovena por Maloti, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The nineteenth went to Mallothi, to his sons and his brothers, twelve.

27 la vigésima por Eliata, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The twentieth went to Eliathah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

28 la vigesimaprima por Hotir, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The twenty-first went to Hothir, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

29 la vigesimasegunda por Gidalti, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The twenty-second went to Giddalti, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

30 la vigesimatercera por Mahaziot, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The twenty-third went to Mahazioth, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

31 la vigesimacuarta por Romanti-ezer, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce.

The twenty-fourth went to Romamtiezer, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
