Salmos 86

1 Oración de David. INCLINA, oh Jehová, tu oído, y óyeme; porque estoy afligido y menesteroso.

A Prayer of David. Incline, O Jehovah, Thine ear, Answer me, for I [am] poor and needy.

2 Guarda mi alma, porque soy pío: salva tú, oh Dios mío, á tu siervo que en ti, confía.

Keep my soul, for I [am] pious, Save Thy servant — who is trusting to Thee, O Thou, my God.

3 Ten misericordia de mí, oh Jehová: porque á ti clamo todo el día.

Favour me, O Lord, for to Thee I call all the day.

4 Alegra el alma de tu siervo: porque á ti, oh Señor, levanto mi alma.

Rejoice the soul of Thy servant, For unto Thee, O Lord, my soul I lift up.

5 Porque tú, Señor, eres bueno y perdonador, y grande en misericordia para con todos los que te invocan.

For Thou, Lord, [art] good and forgiving. And abundant in kindness to all calling Thee.

6 Escucha, oh Jehová, mi oración, y está atento á la voz de mis ruegos.

Hear, O Jehovah, my prayer, And attend to the voice of my supplications.

7 En el día de mi angustia te llamaré: porque tú me respondes.

In a day of my distress I call Thee, For Thou dost answer me.

8 Oh Señor, ninguno hay como tú entre los dioses, [ni obras] que igualen tus obras.

There is none like Thee among the gods, O Lord, And like Thy works there are none.

9 Todas las gentes que hiciste vendrán y se humillarán delante de ti, Señor; y glorificarán tu nombre.

All nations that Thou hast made Come and bow themselves before Thee, O Lord, And give honour to Thy name.

10 Porque tú eres grande, y hacedor de maravillas: tú solo eres Dios.

For great [art] Thou, and doing wonders, Thou [art] God Thyself alone.

11 Enséñame, oh Jehová, tu camino; caminaré yo en tu verdad: consolida mi corazón para que tema tu nombre.

Show me, O Jehovah, Thy way, I walk in Thy truth, My heart doth rejoice to fear Thy name.

12 Te alabaré, oh Jehová Dios mío, con todo mi corazón; y glorificaré tu nombre para siempre.

I confess Thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I honour Thy name to the age.

13 Porque tu misericordia es grande para conmigo; y has librado mi alma del hoyo profundo. (Sheol h7585)

For Thy kindness [is] great toward me, And Thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol. (Sheol h7585)

14 Oh Dios, soberbios se levantaron contra mí, y conspiración de fuertes ha buscado mi alma, y no te pusieron delante de sí.

O God, the proud have risen up against me, And a company of the terrible sought my soul, And have not placed Thee before them,

15 Mas tú, Señor, Dios misericordioso y clemente, lento para la ira, y grande en misericordia y verdad;

And Thou, O Lord, [art] God, merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in kindness and truth.

16 Mírame, y ten misericordia de mí: da tu fortaleza á tu siervo, y guarda al hijo de tu sierva.

Look unto me, and favour me, Give Thy strength to Thy servant, And give salvation to a son of Thine handmaid.

17 Haz conmigo señal para bien, y véanla los que me aborrecen, y sean avergonzados; porque tú, Jehová, me ayudaste, y me consolaste.

Do with me a sign for good, And those hating me see and are ashamed, For Thou, O Jehovah, hast helped me, Yea, Thou hast comforted me!
