Salmos 75

1 Al Músico principal: sobre No destruyas: Salmo de Asaph: Cántico. ALABARÉMOSTE, oh Dios, alabaremos; que cercano está tu nombre: cuenten tus maravillas.

To him that excelleth. Destroy not. A Psalme or song committed toAsaph. We will prayse thee, O God, we will prayse thee, for thy Name is neere: therefore they will declare thy wonderous workes.

2 Cuando yo tuviere tiempo, yo juzgaré rectamente.

When I shall take a conuenient time, I will iudge righteously.

3 Arruinábase la tierra y sus moradores: yo sostengo sus columnas. (Selah)

The earth and all the inhabitantes thereof are dissolued: but I will establish the pillars of it. (Selah)

4 Dije á los insensatos: No os infatuéis; y á los impíos: No levantéis el cuerno:

I saide vnto the foolish, Be not so foolish, and to the wicked, Lift not vp the horne.

5 No levantéis en alto vuestro cuerno; no habléis con cerviz erguida.

Lift not vp your horne on high, neither speake with a stiffe necke.

6 Porque ni de oriente, ni de occidente, ni del desierto [viene] el ensalzamiento.

For to come to preferment is neither from the East, nor from the West, nor from the South,

7 Mas Dios es el juez: á éste abate, y á aquél ensalza.

But God is the iudge: he maketh lowe and he maketh hie.

8 Porque el cáliz está en la mano de Jehová, y el vino es tinto, lleno de mistura; y él derrama del mismo: ciertamente sus heces chuparán y beberán todos los impíos de la tierra.

For in the hand of the Lord is a cup, and the wine is red: it is full mixt, and he powreth out of the same: surely all the wicked of the earth shall wring out and drinke the dregges thereof.

9 Mas yo anunciaré siempre, cantaré alabanzas al Dios de Jacob.

But I will declare for euer, and sing prayses vnto the God of Iaakob.

10 Y quebraré todos los cuernos de los pecadores: los cuernos del justo serán ensalzados.

All the hornes of the wicked also will I breake: but the hornes of the righteous shalbe exalted.
