Salmos 47

1 Al Músico principal: de los hijos de Coré: Salmo. PUEBLOS todos, batid las manos; aclamad á Dios con voz de júbilo.

“For the leader of the music. A psalm of the sons of Korah.” O clap your hands, all ye nations! Shout unto God with the voice of triumph!

2 Porque Jehová el Altísimo es terrible; Rey grande sobre toda la tierra.

For terrible is Jehovah, the Most High, The great king over all the earth.

3 El sujetará á los pueblos debajo de nosotros, y á las gentes debajo de nuestros pies.

He hath subdued nations under us, And kingdoms under our feet;

4 El nos elegirá nuestras heredades; la hermosura de Jacob, al cual amó. (Selah)

He hath chosen for us an inheritance, The glory of Jacob, whom he loved. (Pause)

5 Subió Dios con júbilo, Jehová con sonido de trompeta.

God goeth up with a shout; Jehovah with the sound of the trumpet.

6 Cantad á Dios, cantad: cantad á nuestro Rey, cantad.

Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our king, sing praises!

7 Porque Dios es el Rey de toda la tierra: cantad con inteligencia.

For God is king of all the earth; Sing to him hymns of praise!

8 Reinó Dios sobre las gentes: asentóse Dios sobre su santo trono.

God reigneth over the nations; God sitteth upon his holy throne.

9 Los príncipes de los pueblos se juntaron al pueblo del Dios de Abraham: porque de Dios son los escudos de la tierra; él es muy ensalzado.

The princes of the nations gather themselves together To the people of the God of Abraham; For the mighty of the earth belong to God; He is supremely exalted.
