Salmos 46
1 Al Músico principal: de los hijos de Coré: Salmo sobre Alamoth. DIOS es nuestro amparo y fortaleza, nuestro pronto auxilio en las tribulaciones.
“For the leader of the music. Of, or for, the sons of Korah. To be sung in the manner, or with the voice, of virgins.” God is our refuge and strength; An ever present help in trouble.
2 Por tanto no temeremos aunque la tierra sea removida; aunque se traspasen los montes al corazón de la mar.
Therefore will we not fear, though the earth be changed; Though the mountains tremble in the heart of the sea;
3 Bramarán, turbaránse sus aguas; temblarán los montes á causa de su braveza. (Selah)
Though its waters roar and be troubled, And the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. (Pause)
4 Del río sus conductos alegrarán la ciudad de Dios, el santuario de las tiendas del Altísimo.
A river with its streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy dwelling-place of the Most High.
5 Dios está en medio de ella; no será conmovida: Dios la ayudará al clarear la mañana.
God is the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her, and that full early.
6 Bramaron las gentes, titubearon los reinos; dió él su voz, derritióse la tierra.
The nations raged; kingdoms were moved; He uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 Jehová de los ejércitos es con nosotros; nuestro refugio es el Dios de Jacob. (Selah)
The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. (Pause)
8 Venid, ved las obras de Jehová, que ha puesto asolamientos en la tierra.
Come, behold the doings of the LORD; What desolations he hath made in the earth!
9 Que hace cesar las guerras hasta los fines de la tierra: que quiebra el arco, corta la lanza, y quema los carros en el fuego.
He causeth wars to cease to the end of the earth; He hath broken the bow, and snapped the spear asunder, And burned the chariots in fire.
10 Estad quietos, y conoced que yo soy Dios: ensalzado he de ser entre las gentes, ensalzado seré en la tierra.
“Desist, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted throughout the earth!”
11 Jehová de los ejércitos es con nosotros; nuestro refugio es el Dios de Jacob. (Selah)
