Salmos 148

1 Aleluya. ALABAD á Jehová desde los cielos: alabadle en las alturas.

Hallelujah. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

2 Alabadle, vosotros todos sus ángeles: alabadle, vosotros todos sus ejércitos.

Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

3 Alabadle, sol y luna: alabadle, vosotras todas, lucientes estrellas.

Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

4 Alabadle, cielos de los cielos, y las aguas que están sobre los cielos.

Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens.

5 Alaben el nombre de Jehová; porque él mandó, y fueron criadas.

Let them praise the name of the Lord; for he commanded and they were created.

6 Y las hizo ser para siempre por los siglos; púso[les] ley que no será quebrantada.

And he established them for ever and to eternity: he gave a decree which none shall transgress.

7 Alabad á Jehová, de la tierra los dragones y todos los abismos;

Praise the Lord from the earth, ye sea-monsters, and all deeps;

8 El fuego y el granizo, la nieve y el vapor, el viento de tempestad que ejecuta su palabra;

Fire, and hail, snow, and vapor; thou storm-wind that fulfillest his word;

9 Los montes y todos los collados; el árbol de fruto, y todos los cedros;

Ye mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars;

10 La bestia y todo animal; reptiles y volátiles;

Ye beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and winged birds;

11 Los reyes de la tierra y todos los pueblos; los príncipes y todos los jueces de la tierra;

Ye kings of the earth, and all nations; ye princes, and all judges of the earth;

12 Los mancebos y también las doncellas; los viejos y los niños,

Young men and also virgins; old men, together with boys: —

13 Alaben el nombre de Jehová, porque sólo su nombre es elevado; su gloria es sobre tierra y cielos.

Let them praise the name of the Lord; for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above earth and heaven.

14 El ensalzó el cuerno de su pueblo; aláben[le] todos sus santos, los hijos de Israel, el pueblo á él cercano. Aleluya.

He also exalteth the horn of his people, a praise unto all his pious servants, [even] unto the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Hallelujah.
