Salmos 146

1 Aleluya. ALABA, oh alma mía, á Jehová.

Praise JAH. Praise Jehovah, my soul.

2 Alabaré á Jehová en mi vida: cantaré salmos á mi Dios mientras viviere.

While I live, I will praise Jehovah. I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.

3 No confiéis en los príncipes, ni en hijo de hombre, porque no hay en él salud.

Do not put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help.

4 Saldrá su espíritu, tornaráse en su tierra: en aquel día perecerán sus pensamientos.

His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish.

5 Bienaventurado aquel en cuya ayuda es el Dios de Jacob, cuya esperanza es en Jehová su Dios:

Blessed is the one who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Jehovah his God,

6 El cual hizo los cielos y la tierra, la mar, y todo lo que en ellos hay; que guarda verdad para siempre;

who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever;

7 Que hace derecho á los agraviados; que da pan á los hambrientos: Jehová suelta á los aprisionados;

who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. Jehovah frees the prisoners.

8 Jehová abre [los ojos] á los ciegos; Jehová levanta á los caídos; Jehová ama á los justos.

Jehovah opens the eyes of the blind. Jehovah raises up those who are bowed down. Jehovah loves the righteous.

9 Jehová guarda á los extranjeros; al huérfano y á la viuda levanta; y el camino de los impíos trastorna.

Jehovah preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but the way of the wicked he turns upside down.

10 Reinará Jehová para siempre; tu Dios, oh Sión, por generación y generación. Aleluya.

Jehovah will reign forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise JAH.
