Salmos 120

1 Cántico gradual. A JEHOVÁ llamé estando en angustia, y él me respondió.

In my trouble I cried to the Lord: and he heard me.

2 Libra mi alma, oh Jehová, de labio mentiroso, de la lengua fraudulenta.

O Lord, deliver my soul from wicked lips, and a deceitful tongue.

3 ¿Qué te dará, ó qué te aprovechará, oh lengua engañosa?

What shall be given to thee, or what shall be added to thee, to a deceitful tongue.

4 Agudas saetas de valiente, con brasas de enebro.

The sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals that lay waste.

5 ¡Ay de mí, que peregrino en Mesech, [y] habito entre las tiendas de Kedar!

Woe is me, that my sojourning is prolonged! I have dwelt with the inhabitants of cedar:

6 Mucho se detiene mi alma con los que aborrecen la paz.

My soul hath been long a sojourner.

7 Yo soy pacífico: mas ellos, así que hablo, [me] hacen guerra.

With them that hate peace I was peaceable: when I spoke to them they fought against me without cause.
