Salmos 119
1 ALEPH. BIENAVENTURADOS los perfectos de camino; los que andan en la ley de Jehová.
[ALEPH.] How happy the men of blameless life, who walk in the law of Yahweh.
2 Bienaventurados los que guardan sus testimonios, y con todo el corazón le buscan:
How happy they who observe his testimonies, with a whole heart, they seek him.
3 Pues no hacen iniquidad los que andan en sus caminos.
Yea, they have not wrought perversity, In his ways, have they walked.
4 Tú encargaste que sean muy guardados tus mandamientos.
Thou, hast commanded thy precepts, that they should be diligently kept.
5 ¡Ojalá fuesen ordenados mis caminos á observar tus estatutos!
Oh would that my ways might be settled! that I might keep thy statutes.
6 Entonces no sería yo avergonzado, cuando atendiese á todos tus mandamientos.
Then, shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
7 Te alabaré con rectitud de corazón, cuando aprendiere los juicios de tu justicia.
I will thank thee with uprightness of heart, when I have learned thy righteous regulations.
8 Tus estatutos guardaré: no me dejes enteramente.
Thy statutes, will I keep, Do not thou forsake me utterly.
9 BETH ¿Con qué limpiará el joven su camino? Con guardar tu palabra.
[BETH.] Wherewithal can a young man keep pure his way? By taking heed, according to thy word.
10 Con todo mi corazón te he buscado: no me dejes divagar de tus mandamientos.
With all my heart, have I sought thee, Suffer me not to be led astray from thy commandments.
11 En mi corazón he guardado tus dichos, para no pecar contra ti.
In my heart, have I treasured what thou hast said, to the end I may not sin against thee.
12 Bendito tú, oh Jehová: enséñame tus estatutos.
Blessed art thou, O Yahweh—Teach me thy statutes.
13 Con mis labios he contado todos los juicios de tu boca.
With my lips, have I recounted All the regulations of thy mouth.
14 Heme gozado en el camino de tus testimonios, como sobre toda riqueza.
In the way of thy testimonies, have I rejoiced, Like as over all riches.
15 En tus mandamientos meditaré, consideraré tus caminos.
In thy precepts, will I meditate, that I may discern thy paths.
16 Recrearéme en tus estatutos: no me olvidaré de tus palabras.
In thy statutes, will I find my dear delight, I will not forget thy word.
17 GIMEL. Haz bien á tu siervo; que viva y guarde tu palabra.
[GIMEL.] Bestow thy bounties upon thy servant—let me live, That I may observe thy word.
18 Abre mis ojos, y miraré las maravillas de tu ley.
Unveil thou mine eyes, that I may discern Wondrous things out of thy law.
19 Advenedizo soy yo en la tierra: no encubras de mí tus mandamientos.
A sojourner, am, I, in the earth, Do not hide from me, thy commandments.
20 Quebrantada está mi alma de desear tus juicios en todo tiempo.
My soul is crushed with longing for thy just decisions at all times.
21 Destruiste á los soberbios malditos, que se desvían de tus mandamientos.
Thou hast rebuked the proud as accursed, who stray from thy commandments.
22 Aparta de mí oprobio y menosprecio; porque tus testimonios he guardado.
Roll from off me, reproach and contempt, For, thy testimonies, have I observed.
23 Príncipes también se sentaron y hablaron contra mí: [mas] tu siervo meditaba en tus estatutos.
Even rulers have taken their seat, against me, have talked, Thy servant, will still meditate in thy statutes.
24 Pues tus testimonios son mis deleites, [y] mis consejeros.
Yea, thy testimonies, are my dear delight, My counsellors.
25 DALETH. Pegóse al polvo mi alma: vivifícame según tu palabra.
[DALETH.] My soul, cleaveth to the dust, Give me life, according to thy word.
26 Mis caminos [te] conté, y me has respondido: enséñame tus estatutos.
My ways, I recounted, and thou didst answer me, Teach me thy statutes.
27 Hazme entender el camino de tus mandamientos, y hablaré de tus maravillas.
The way of thy precepts, cause thou me to understand, and I will indeed meditate in thy wonders.
28 Deshácese mi alma de ansiedad: corrobórame según tu palabra.
My soul weepeth itself away, for grief, Confirm thou me, according to thy word.
29 Aparta de mí camino de mentira; y hazme la gracia de tu ley.
The way of falsehood, take thou from me, and, with thy law, O favour me.
30 Escogí el camino de la verdad; he puesto tus juicios [delante de mí].
The way of faithfulness, have I chosen, Thy regulations, have I deemed right.
31 Allegádome he á tus testimonios; oh Jehová, no me avergüences.
I have kept close to thy testimonies, O Yahweh! do not put me to shame.
32 Por el camino de tus mandamientos correré, cuando ensanchares mi corazón.
The way of thy commandments, will I run, for thou wilt enlarge my heart.
33 HE. Enséñame, oh Jehová, el camino de tus estatutos, y guardarélo hasta el fin.
[HE.] Point out to me, O Yahweh, the way of thy statutes, that I may observe it unto the end.
34 Dame entendimiento, y guardaré tu ley; y la observaré de todo corazón.
Give me understanding, that I may observe thy law, that I may keep it with a whole heart.
35 Guíame por la senda de tus mandamientos; porque en ella tengo mi voluntad.
Guide me in the path of thy commandments, for, therein, do I find pleasure.
36 Inclina mi corazón á tus testimonios, y no á la avaricia.
Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not unto unjust gain.
37 Aparta mis ojos, que no vean la vanidad; avívame en tu camino.
Turn away mine eyes, from beholding vanity, In thy way, give me life.
38 Confirma tu palabra á tu siervo, que te teme.
Establish, unto thy servant, thy word, which pertaineth to the reverence of thee.
39 Quita de mí el oprobio que he temido: porque buenos son tus juicios.
Cause to pass away my reproach, that I have feared, for, thy regulations, are good.
40 He aquí yo he codiciado tus mandamientos: vivifícame en tu justicia.
Lo! I have longed for thy precepts, In thy righteousness, give me life.
41 VAU. Y venga á mí tu misericordia, oh Jehová; tu salud, conforme á tu dicho.
[WAW.] And let thy lovingkindness reach me, O Yahweh, thy salvation, according to thy word.
42 Y daré por respuesta á mi avergonzador, que en tu palabra he confiado.
So shall I have something to answer him that reproacheth me, That I have trusted in thy word.
43 Y no quites de mi boca en ningún tiempo la palabra de verdad; porque á tu juicio espero.
And do not snatch away from my mouth the word of truth in any wise, because, for thy regulation, have I waited.
44 Y guardaré tu ley siempre, por siglo de siglo.
That I may keep thy law continually, to times age-abiding and beyond.
45 Y andaré en anchura, porque busqué tus mandamientos.
That I may walk to and fro in a large place, because, thy precepts, have I sought.
46 Y hablaré de tus testimonios delante de los reyes, y no me avergonzaré.
That I may speak of thy testimonies before kings, and not be ashamed.
47 Y deleitaréme en tus mandamientos, que he amado.
That I may find dear delight in thy commandments, which I have loved.
48 Alzaré asimismo mis manos á tus mandamientos, que amé; y meditaré en tus estatutos.
That I may lift up my hands unto thy commandments, which I have loved, and may meditate in thy statutes.
49 ZAIN. Acuérdate de la palabra [dada] á tu siervo, en la cual me has hecho esperar.
[ZAYIN.] Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
50 Esta es mi consuelo en mi aflicción: porque tu dicho me ha vivificado.
This, is my comfort in mine affliction, that, thy word, hath given me life.
51 Los soberbios se burlaron mucho de mí: [mas] no me he apartado de tu ley.
Insolent men, have derided me exceedingly, From thy law, have I not swerved.
52 Acordéme, oh Jehová, de tus juicios antiguos, y consoléme.
I have remembered thy regulations, [which have come down] from age-past times, O Yahweh, and have consoled myself.
53 Horror se apoderó de mí, á causa de los impíos que dejan tu ley.
A raging heat, hath seized me, by reason of the lawless, who forsake thy law.
54 Cánticos me fueron tus estatutos en la mansión de mis peregrinaciones.
Songs, have thy statutes become to me, in my house of sojourn.
55 Acordéme en la noche de tu nombre, oh Jehová, y guardé tu ley.
I have remembered, in the night, thy Name, O Yahweh, and have kept thy law.
56 Esto tuve, porque guardaba tus mandamientos.
This, have I had, because, thy precepts, have I observed.
57 CHETH. Mi porción, oh Jehová, dije, será guardar tus palabras.
[HETH.] My portion, is Yahweh, I have promised that I would keep thy words.
58 Tu presencia supliqué de todo corazón: ten misericordia de mí según tu palabra.
I have sought the smile of thy face with all my heart, Show me favour, according to thy word.
59 Consideré mis caminos, y torné mis pies á tus testimonios.
I have thought upon my ways, and have turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
60 Apresuréme, y no me retardé en guardar tus mandamientos.
I have hastened, and not delayed, to keep thy commandments.
61 Compañías de impíos me han robado: [mas] no me he olvidado de tu ley.
The meshes of the lawless, have surrounded me, Thy law, have I not forgotten.
62 A media noche me levantaba á alabarte sobre los juicios de tu justicia.
At midnight, I arise to give thanks unto thee, For thy righteous regulations.
63 Compañero soy yo de todos los que te temieren y guardaren tus mandamientos.
Companion, am I, to all who revere thee, and to them who keep thy precepts.
64 De tu misericordia, oh Jehová, está llena la tierra: enséñame tus estatutos.
Of thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh, the earth, is full, Thy statutes, teach thou me.
65 TETH. Bien has hecho con tu siervo, oh Jehová, conforme á tu palabra.
[TETH.] Well, hast thou dealt with thy servant, O Yahweh, according to thy word.
66 Enséñame bondad de sentido y sabiduría; porque tus mandamientos he creído.
Good judgment and knowledge, teach thou me, For, in thy commandments, have I trusted.
67 Antes que fuera yo humillado, descarriado andaba; mas ahora guardo tu palabra.
Before I was afflicted, I myself was going astray, but, now, thy word, have I kept.
68 Bueno eres tú, y bienhechor: enséñame tus estatutos.
Good, thou art, and doing good, Teach me thy statutes.
69 Contra mí forjaron mentira los soberbios: [mas] yo guardaré de todo corazón tus mandamientos.
Insolent men have plastered falsehood over me, I, with a whole heart, will observe thy precepts.
70 Engrasóse el corazón de ellos como sebo; mas yo en tu ley me he deleitado.
Gross, like fat, is their heart, I, in thy law, have found dear delight.
71 Bueno me es haber sido humillado, para que aprenda tus estatutos.
It is, well for me, that I was afflicted, That I might learn thy statutes.
72 Mejor me es la ley de tu boca, que millares de oro y plata.
Better to me, is the law of thy mouth, than thousands of gold and silver.
73 JOD. Tus manos me hicieron y me formaron: hazme entender, y aprenderé tus mandamientos.
[YODH.] Thine own hands, have made me, and formed me. Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
74 Los que te temen, me verán, y se alegrarán; porque en tu palabra he esperado.
They who revere thee, shall see me and rejoice, that, for thy word, I waited.
75 Conozco, oh Jehová, que tus juicios son justicia, y que conforme á tu fidelidad me afligiste.
I know, O Yahweh, that righteous are thy regulations, and, in faithfulness, didst thou afflict me.
76 Sea ahora tu misericordia para consolarme, conforme á lo que has dicho á tu siervo.
Let thy lovingkindness, I beseech thee, serve to comfort me, according to thy word to thy servant.
77 Vengan á mí tus misericordias, y viva; porque tu ley es mi deleite.
Let thy compassions reach me, that I may live, for, thy law, is my dear delight.
78 Sean avergonzados los soberbios, porque sin causa me han calumniado: yo empero, meditaré en tus mandamientos.
Let insolent men, be ashamed, because, by means of falsehood, they have dealt with me perversely, I, will meditate in thy precepts.
79 Tórnense á mí los que te temen y conocen tus testimonios.
Let them who revere thee, turn unto me, even they who know thy testimonies.
80 Sea mi corazón íntegro en tus estatutos; porque no sea yo avergonzado.
Let my heart be thorough in thy statutes, that I may not be ashamed.
81 CAPH. Desfallece mi alma por tu salud, esperando en tu palabra.
[KAPH.] My soul, hath languished for thy salvation, For thy word, have I hoped.
82 Desfallecieron mis ojos por tu palabra, diciendo: ¿Cuándo me consolarás?
Mine eyes have failed for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
83 Porque estoy como el odre al humo; mas no he olvidado tus estatutos.
Though I have been like a wine-skin in the smoke, thy statutes, have I not forgotten.
84 ¿Cuántos son los días de tu siervo? ¿cuándo harás juicio contra los que me persiguen?
How few are the days of thy servant! When wilt thou execute sentence on my persecutors?
85 Los soberbios me han cavado hoyos; mas no [obran] según tu ley.
Insolent men digged for me pits, men who are not according to thy law.
86 Todos tus mandamientos son verdad: sin causa me persiguen; ayúdame.
All thy commandments, are faithful, With falsehood, have they persecuted me, O help me!
87 Casi me han echado por tierra: mas yo no he dejado tus mandamientos.
A little more, and they had consumed me in the earth, but, I, forsake not thy precepts.
88 Vivifícame conforme á tu misericordia; y guardaré los testimonios de tu boca.
According to thy lovingkindness, give thou me life, so will I keep the testimonies of thy mouth.
89 LAMED. Para siempre, oh Jehová, permanece tu palabra en los cielos.
[LAMED.] Age-abidingly, O Yahweh, hath thy word been set up in the heavens.
90 Por generación y generación es tu verdad: tú afirmaste la tierra, y persevera.
To generation after generation, is thy faithfulness, Thou hast established the earth, and it standeth.
91 Por tu ordenación perseveran hasta hoy [las cosas criadas]; porque todas ellas te sirven.
By thy regulations, do they stand to-day, for, all, are thy servants.
92 Si tu ley no hubiese sido mis delicias, ya en mi aflicción hubiera perecido.
Had not thy law been my dear delight, then, had I perished in mine affliction.
93 Nunca jamás me olvidaré de tus mandamientos; porque con ellos me has vivificado.
Unto times age-abiding, will I not forget thy precepts, For, by them, hast thou given me life.
94 Tuyo soy yo, guárdame; porque he buscado tus mandamientos.
Thine, am I, —oh save me! For, thy precepts, have I sought.
95 Los impíos me han aguardado para destruirme: [mas] yo entenderé en tus testimonios.
For me, have the lawless waited, to destroy me, Thy testimonies, will I diligently consider.
96 A toda perfección he visto fin: ancho sobremanera es tu mandamiento.
To all perfection, have I seen an end, Broad is thy commandment, exceedingly.
97 MEM ¡Cuánto amo yo tu ley! todo el día es ella mi meditación.
[MEM.] Oh how I love thy law! All the day, is it my (meditation)
98 Me has hecho más sabio que mis enemigos con tus mandamientos; porque me son eternos.
Beyond mine enemies, will thy commandment make me wise, for, age-abidingly, shall it be mine.
99 Más que todos mis enseñadores he entendido: porque tus testimonios son mi meditación.
Beyond all my teachers, have I shown discretion, for, thy testimonies, are my (meditation)
100 Más que los viejos he entendido, porque he guardado tus mandamientos.
Beyond the elders, will I show understanding, for, thy precepts, have I observed.
101 De todo mal camino contuve mis pies, para guardar tu palabra.
From every way of wickedness, have I withheld my feet, that I might keep thy word.
102 No me aparté de tus juicios; porque tú me enseñaste.
From thy regulations, have I not turned aside, for, thou, hast directed me.
103 ¡Cuán dulces son á mi paladar tus palabras! más que la miel á mi boca.
How smooth to my palate is thy speech, More than honey, to my mouth.
104 De tus mandamientos he adquirido inteligencia: por tanto he aborrecido todo camino de mentira.
Out of thy precepts, will I get understanding, For this cause, do I hate every false way.
105 NUN. Lámpara es á mis pies tu palabra, y lumbrera á mi camino.
[NUN.] A lamp to my feet, is thy word, and a light to my path.
106 Juré y ratifiqué el guardar los juicios de tu justicia.
I sware, and have fulfilled, To keep thy righteous regulations.
107 Afligido estoy en gran manera: oh Jehová, vivifícame conforme á tu palabra.
I have been afflicted exceedingly, —O Yahweh, give me life according to thy word.
108 Ruégote, oh Jehová, te sean agradables los sacrificios voluntarios de mi boca; y enséñame tus juicios.
The freewill offerings of my mouth, accept, I pray thee, O Yahweh, And, thy regulations, teach thou me.
109 De continuo está mi alma en mi mano: mas no me he olvidado de tu ley.
My life, is in my hand continually, Yet, thy law, have I not forgotten.
110 Pusiéronme lazo los impíos: empero yo no me desvié de tus mandamientos.
The lawless have set a snare for me, Yet, from thy precepts, have I not strayed.
111 Por heredad he tomado tus testimonios para siempre; porque son el gozo de mi corazón.
As an inheritance have I taken thy testimonies unto times age-abiding, for, the joy of my heart, they are.
112 Mi corazón incliné á poner por obra tus estatutos de continuo, hasta el fin.
I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes, Age-abidingly, to the end.
113 SAMECH. Los pensamientos vanos aborrezco; mas amo tu ley.
[SAMECH.] Half-hearted ones, do I hate, but, thy law, do I love.
114 Mi escondedero y mi escudo eres tú: en tu palabra he esperado.
My hiding-place and my buckler, thou art, For thy word, have I waited.
115 Apartaos de mí, malignos; pues yo guardaré los mandamientos de mi Dios.
Depart from me, ye evil-doers, —that I may observe the commandments of my God.
116 Susténtame conforme á tu palabra, y viviré: y no me avergüences de mi esperanza.
Uphold me according to thy word, that I may live, and do not shame me out of my hope!
117 Sostenme, y seré salvo; y deleitaréme siempre en tus estatutos.
Sustain me, that I may be saved, and may find dear delight in thy statutes continually.
118 Hollaste á todos los que se desvían de tus estatutos: porque mentira es su engaño.
Thou hast made light of all who stray from thy statutes, for their fraud is, falsehood.
119 Como escorias hiciste consumir á todos los impíos de la tierra: por tanto yo he amado tus testimonios.
Dross, have I accounted all the lawless of the earth, therefore do I love thy testimonies.
120 Mi carne se ha extremecido por temor de ti; y de tus juicios tengo miedo.
My flesh, bristled up from dread of thee, and, of thy regulations, stand I in fear.
121 AIN. Juicio y justicia he hecho; no me dejes á mis opresores.
[AYIN.] I have done justice and righteousness, —Do not leave me to mine oppressors.
122 Responde por tu siervo para bien: no me hagan violencia los soberbios.
Be thou surety for thy servant for good, Let not insolent men oppress me.
123 Mis ojos desfallecieron por tu salud, y por el dicho de tu justicia.
Mine eyes, have become dim for thy salvation, and for thy righteous word.
124 Haz con tu siervo según tu misericordia, y enséñame tus estatutos.
Deal with thy servant according to thy lovingkindness, and, thy statutes, teach thou me.
125 Tu siervo soy yo, dame entendimiento; para que sepa tus testimonios.
Thy servant, I am—give me understanding, so shall I get to know thy testimonies.
126 Tiempo es de hacer, oh Jehová; disipado han tu ley.
It is time that Yahweh should work, They have frustrated thy law!
127 Por eso he amado tus mandamientos más que el oro, y más que oro muy puro.
For this cause, do I love thy commandments, More than gold, yea than fine gold!
128 Por eso todos los mandamientos de todas las cosas estimé rectos: aborrecí todo camino de mentira.
For this cause, all thy precepts concerning all things, I deem right, Every way of falsehood, I hate.
129 PE. Maravillosos son tus testimonios: por tanto los ha guardado mi alma.
[PE.] Wonderful are thy testimonies, For this cause, hath my soul observed them.
130 El principio de tus palabras alumbra; hace entender á los simples.
The opening of thy words, sheddeth light, Giving understanding to the simple.
131 Mi boca abrí y suspiré; porque deseaba tus mandamientos.
My mouth, have I opened wide, and panted, because, for thy commandments, have I longed.
132 Mírame, y ten misericordia de mí, como acostumbras con los que aman tu nombre.
Turn thyself unto me, and show me favour, —As is befitting, to the lovers of thy Name.
133 Ordena mis pasos con tu palabra; y ninguna iniquidad se enseñoree de mí.
My steps, direct thou by thy word, and let no iniquity, have dominion over me.
134 Redímeme de la violencia de los hombres; y guardaré tus mandamientos.
Set me free from the oppression of man, so will I keep thy precepts.
135 Haz que tu rostro resplandezca sobre tu siervo; y enséñame tus estatutos.
Thy face, light thou up on thy servant, and teach me thy statutes.
136 Ríos de agua descendieron de mis ojos, porque no guardaban tu ley.
Streams of water, have run down mine eyes, because men have not kept thy law.
137 TZADDI. Justo eres tú, oh Jehová, y rectos tus juicios.
[ZADHE.] Righteous art thou, O Yahweh, —and, equitable, are thy regulations.
138 Tus testimonios, [que] has recomendado, [son] rectos y muy fieles.
Thou hast righteously commanded thy testimonies, yea in great faithfulness.
139 Mi celo me ha consumido; porque mis enemigos se olvidaron de tus palabras.
My zeal, hath put an end to me, for mine adversaries have forgotten thy words.
140 Sumamente acendrada es tu palabra; y la ama tu siervo.
Refined is thy word, to the uttermost, and, thy servant loveth it.
141 Pequeño soy yo y desechado; [mas] no me he olvidado de tus mandamientos.
Small, am I, and despised, Thy precepts, have I not forgotten.
142 Tu justicia es justicia eterna, y tu ley la verdad.
Thy righteousness, is righteous to times age-abiding, and, thy law, is truth.
143 Aflicción y angustia me hallaron: [mas] tus mandamientos fueron mis deleites.
Straitness and distress, have befallen me, Thy commandments, are my dear delights.
144 Justicia eterna son tus testimonios; dame entendimiento, y viviré.
Righteous are thy testimonies, unto times age-abiding, Give me understanding, that I may live.
145 COPH. Clamé con todo mi corazón; respóndeme, Jehová, y guardaré tus estatutos.
[KOPH.] I have cried out with all my heart, answer me, O Yahweh; Thy statutes, will I observe.
146 A ti clamé; sálvame, y guardaré tus testimonios.
I have cried out unto thee, oh save me, That I may keep thy testimonies.
147 Anticipéme al alba, y clamé: esperé en tu palabra.
I forestalled the twilight, and cried for help, For thy word, I waited.
148 Previnieron mis ojos las vigilias de la noche, para meditar en tus dichos.
Mine eyes forestalled the night-watches, To meditate in thy word.
149 Oye mi voz conforme á tu misericordia; oh Jehová, vivifícame conforme á tu juicio.
My voice, O hear, according to thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh! according to thy wont, give me life.
150 Acercáronse á la maldad los que [me] persiguen; alejáronse de tu ley.
They have drawn near, who pursue villainy, From thy law, have they gone far away.
151 Cercano estás tú, oh Jehová; y todos tus mandamientos son verdad.
Near art thou, O Yahweh, and, all thy commandments, are truth.
152 Ya ha mucho que he entendido de tus mandamientos, que para siempre los fundaste.
Long, have I known, from thy testimonies, That, to times age-abiding, thou didst establish them.
153 RESH. Mira mi aflicción, y líbrame; porque de tu ley no me he olvidado.
[RESH.] Behold mine affliction, and rescue me, For, thy law, have I not forgotten.
154 Aboga mi causa, y redímeme: vivifícame con tu dicho.
Plead my cause, and redeem me, By thy word, give me life
155 Lejos está de los impíos la salud; porque no buscan tus estatutos.
Far from the lawless, is salvation, For, thy statutes, have they not sought.
156 Muchas son tus misericordias, oh Jehová: vivifícame conforme á tus juicios.
Thy compassions, are great, O Yahweh, According to thy regulations, give me life.
157 Muchos son mis perseguidores y mis enemigos; [mas] de tus testimonios no me he apartado.
Many, are my persecutors and mine adversaries, From thy testimonies, have I not swerved.
158 Veía á los prevaricadores, y carcomíame; porque no guardaban tus palabras.
I have seen traitors, and felt loathing, Because, thy word, they kept not.
159 Mira, oh Jehová, que amo tus mandamientos: vivifícame conforme á tu misericordia.
See thou that, thy precepts, I have loved, O Yahweh, according to thy lovingkindness, give me life.
160 El principio de tu palabra es verdad; y eterno [es] todo juicio de tu justicia.
The sum of thy word, is truth, and, age-abiding, is every one of thy righteous regulations.
161 SIN. Príncipes me han perseguido sin causa; mas mi corazón tuvo temor de tus palabras.
[SHIN.] Rulers, have persecuted me, without cause, But, of thy word, hath my heart stood in awe.
162 Gózome yo en tu palabra, como el que halla muchos despojos.
Joyful am I over thy word, Like the finder of spoil in abundance.
163 La mentira aborrezco y abomino: tu ley amo.
Falsehood, I hate and abhor, Thy law, do I love.
164 Siete veces al día te alabo sobre los juicios de tu justicia.
Seven times in the day, have I praised thee, For thy righteous regulations.
165 Mucha paz tienen los que aman tu ley; y no hay para ellos tropiezo.
Blessing in abundance, have the lovers of thy law, and nothing to make them stumble.
166 Tu salud he esperado, oh Jehová; y tus mandamientos he puesto por obra.
I have looked for thy salvation, O Yahweh, and, thy commandments, have I done.
167 Mi alma ha guardado tus testimonios, y helos amado en gran manera.
My soul hath kept thy testimonies, yea I have loved them greatly.
168 Guardado he tus mandamientos y tus testimonios; porque todos mis caminos están delante de ti.
I have kept thy precepts, and thy testimonies, For, all my ways, are before thee.
169 TAU. Acérquese mi clamor delante de ti, oh Jehová: dame entendimiento conforme á tu palabra.
[TAU] Let my shouting come near before thee, O Yahweh, According to thy word, give me understanding.
170 Venga mi oración delante de ti: líbrame conforme á tu dicho.
Let my supplication come in before thee, According to thy word, deliver me.
171 Mis labios rebosarán alabanza, cuando me enseñares tus estatutos.
My lips, shall pour out, praise, When thou shalt teach me thy statutes.
172 Hablará mi lengua tus dichos; porque todos tus mandamientos son justicia.
My tongue, shall respond, with thy word, For, all thy commandments, are righteous.
173 Sea tu mano en mi socorro; porque tus mandamientos he escogido.
Be thy hand ready to help me, For, thy statutes, have I chosen.
174 Deseado he tu salud, oh Jehová; y tu ley es mi delicia.
I have longed for thy salvation, O Yahweh, and, thy law, is my dear delight.
175 Viva mi alma y alábete; y tus juicios me ayuden.
Let my soul live, that it may praise thee, So shall thy regulation help me.
176 Yo anduve errante como oveja extraviada; busca á tu siervo; porque no me he olvidado de tus mandamientos.
I have strayed like a wandering sheep, O seek thy servant, For, thy commandments, have I not forgotten.
