Salmos 113

1 Aleluya. ALABAD, siervos de Jehová, alabad el nombre de Jehová.

Praise Yahweh! You people who serve Yahweh, praise him! Praise (him/his name)!

2 Sea el nombre de Jehová bendito, desde ahora y para siempre.

Yahweh should be praised now and forever!

3 Desde el nacimiento del sol hasta donde se pone, sea alabado el nombre de Jehová.

People who live in the east and people who live in the west, everyone, should praise Yahweh [MTY]!

4 Alto sobre todas las naciones es Jehová; sobre los cielos su gloria.

Yahweh rules [MTY] over all the nations, and high in the heavens he shows that his glory is very great.

5 ¿Quién como Jehová nuestro Dios, que ha enaltecido su habitación,

There is no one [RHQ] who is like Yahweh, our God, who lives/sits/rules in the highest heaven,

6 Que se humilla á mirar en el cielo y en la tierra?

and looks far down through the heavens and sees the [people on] the earth.

7 El levanta del polvo al pobre, y al menesteroso alza del estiércol,

[Sometimes] he lifts poor people up [so that they no longer sit in] the dirt; he helps needy [people so that they no longer sit on] heaps of ashes

8 Para hacerlos sentar con los príncipes, con los príncipes de su pueblo.

and causes them to [be honored] by sitting next to princes, the sons of the kings [who rule] their people.

9 El hace habitar en familia á la estéril, gozosa [en ser] madre de hijos. Aleluya.

He also enables women who have no children to have a family; he causes them to be happy mothers. Praise Yahweh!
