Salmos 108

1 Canción: Salmo de David. MI corazón está dispuesto, oh Dios; cantaré y salmearé todavía en mi gloria.

“A psalm of David.” O God! my heart is strengthened! I will sing and give thanks.

2 Despiértate, salterio y arpa: despertaré al alba.

Awake, my soul! awake, my psaltery and harp! I will wake with the early dawn.

3 Te alabaré, oh Jehová, entre los pueblos; á ti cantaré salmos entre las naciones.

I will praise thee, O LORD! among the nations; I will sing to thee among the peoples!

4 Porque grande más que los cielos es tu misericordia, y hasta los cielos tu verdad.

For thy mercy reacheth to the heavens, And thy truth above the clouds.

5 Ensálzate, oh Dios, sobre los cielos; y sobre toda la tierra tu gloria.

Exalt thyself, O God! above the heavens, And thy glory above all the earth!

6 Para que sean librados tus amados, salva con tu diestra y respóndeme.

That thy beloved ones may be delivered, Save with thy right hand, and answer me!

7 Dios habló por su santuario: alegraréme, repartiré á Sichêm, y mediré el valle de Succoth.

God promiseth in his holiness; I will rejoice; I shall yet divide Shechem, And measure out the valley of Succoth;

8 Mío es Galaad, mío es Manasés; y Ephraim es la fortaleza de mi cabeza; Judá es mi legislador;

Gilead shall be mine, and mine Manasseh; Ephraim shall be my helmet, And Judah my sceptre.

9 Moab, la vasija de mi lavatorio: sobre Edom echaré mi calzado; regocijaréme sobre Palestina.

Moab shall be my washbowl; Upon Edom shall I cast my shoe; I shall triumph over Philistia.

10 ¿Quién me guiará á la ciudad fortalecida? ¿quién me guiará hasta Idumea?

Who will bring me to the strong city? Who will lead me into Edom?

11 Ciertamente tú, oh Dios, que nos habías desechado; y no salías, oh Dios, con nuestros ejércitos.

Wilt not thou, O God! who didst forsake us, Who didst not go forth with our armies?

12 Danos socorro en la angustia: porque mentirosa es la salud del hombre.

Give us thine aid in our distress, For vain is the help of man!

13 En Dios haremos proezas: y él hollará nuestros enemigos.

Through God we shall do valiantly; For he will tread down our enemies.
