Nehemías 11

1 Y HABITARON los príncipes del pueblo en Jerusalem; mas el resto del pueblo echó suertes para traer uno de diez que morase en Jerusalem, ciudad santa, y las nueve partes en las [otras] ciudades.

And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: and the rest of the people cast lots, to bring one of every ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and the nine parts to [remain] in the [other] cities.

2 Y bendijo el pueblo á todos los varones que voluntariamente se ofrecieron á morar en Jerusalem.

And the people blessed all the men, that offered themselves voluntarily to dwell at Jerusalem.

3 Y estos son los principales de la provincia que moraron en Jerusalem; mas en las ciudades de Judá habitaron cada uno en su posesión en sus ciudades, de Israel, de los sacerdotes, y Levitas, y Nethineos, y de los hijos de los siervos de Salomón.

Now these are the chiefs of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem; but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, [to wit, ] Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the temple-servants, and the children of Solomon's servants.

4 En Jerusalem pues habitaron de los hijos de Judá, y de los hijos de Benjamín. De los hijos de Judá: Athaías hijo de Uzzías, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Amarías, hijo de Sephatías, hijo de Mahalaleel, de los hijos de Phares;

And at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah: 'Athayah the son of 'Uzziyah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amaryah, the son of Shephatyah, the son of Mahalalel, of the children of Perez:

5 Y Maasías hijo de Baruch, hijo de Colhoze, hijo de Hazaías, hijo de Adaías, hijo de Joiarib, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Siloni.

And Ma'asseyah the son of Baruch, the son of Kol-chozeh, the son of Chazayah, the son of 'Adayah, the son of Joyarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Hashiloni;

6 Todos los hijos de Phares que moraron en Jerusalem, fueron cuatrocientos setenta y ocho hombres fuertes.

All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred sixty and eight valiant men.

7 Y estos son los hijos de Benjamín: Salú hijo de Mesullam, hijo de Joed, hijo de Pedaías, hijo de Colaías, hijo de Maaseías, hijo de Ithiel, hijo de Jesaía.

And these are the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Jo'ed, the son of Pedayah, the son of Kolayah, the son of Ma'asseyah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jessha'yah;

8 Y tras él, Gabbai, Sallai, novecientos veinte y ocho.

And next to him Gabbai, Sallai; nine hundred twenty and eight.

9 Y Joel hijo de Zichri, era prefecto de ellos, y Jehudas hijo de Senua, el segundo en la ciudad.

And Joel the son of Zichri was overseer over them; and Judah the son of Hassenuah was second over the city.

10 De los sacerdotes: Jedaías hijo de Joiarib, Jachîn,

Of the priests: Jedayah the son of Joyarib, Jachin:

11 Seraías hijo de Hilcías, hijo de Mesullam, hijo de Sadoc, hijo de Meraioth, hijo de Ahitub, príncipe de la casa de Dios,

Serayah the son of Chilkiyah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Merayoth, the son of Achitub, the superintendent of the house of God;

12 Y sus hermanos los que hacían la obra de la casa, ochocientos veintidós: y Adaías hijo de Jeroham, hijo de Pelalías, hijo de Amsi, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Pashur, hijo de Malachías,

And their brethren who did the work of the house, eight hundred twenty and two; and 'Adayah the son of Jerocham, the son of Pelalyah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashchur, the son of Malkiyah;

13 Y sus hermanos, príncipes de familias, doscientos cuarenta y dos: y Amasai hijo de Azarael, hijo de Azai, hijo de Mesillemoth, hijo de Immer,

And his brethren, chiefs of the divisions, two hundred forty and two; and 'Amashsai the son of 'Azarel, the son of Achsai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer;

14 Y sus hermanos, hombres de grande vigor, ciento veintiocho: jefe de los cuales era Zabdiel, hijo de Gedolim.

And their brethren, mighty men of valor, one hundred twenty and eight; and the overseer over them was Zabdiel, the son of Haggedolim.

15 Y de los Levitas: Semaías hijo de Hassub, hijo de Azricam, hijo de Hasabías, hijo de Buni;

Also of the Levites: Shema'yah the son of Chasshub, the son of 'Azrikam, the son of Chashabyah, the son of Bunni;

16 Y Sabethai y Jozabad, de los principales de los Levitas, sobrestantes de la obra exterior de la casa de Dios;

And Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chiefs of the Levites, had the oversight of the outward business of the house of God;

17 Y Mattanías hijo de Michâ, hijo de Zabdi, hijo de Asaph, el principal, el que empezaba las alabanzas y acción de gracias al tiempo de la oración; y Bacbucías el segundo de entre sus hermanos; y Abda hijo de Samua, hijo de Galal, hijo de Jeduthún.

And Matthaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Assaph, the principal to begin the thanksgiving at prayer; and Bakbukyah the second among his brethren and 'Abda the son of Shammua', the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.

18 Todos los Levitas en la santa ciudad fueron doscientos ochenta y cuatro.

All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred eighty and four.

19 Y los porteros, Accub, Talmón, y sus hermanos, guardas en las puertas, ciento setenta y dos.

And the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon and their brethren that watched at the gates, were one hundred seventy and two.

20 Y el resto de Israel, de los sacerdotes, de los Levitas, en todas las ciudades de Judá, cada uno en su heredad.

And the residue of Israel, of the priests, and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.

21 Y los Nethineos habitaban en Ophel; y Siha y Gispa eran sobre los Nethineos.

But the temple-servants dwelt in the hill-fort; and Zicha and Gishpa were over the temple-servants.

22 Y el prepósito de los Levitas en Jerusalem era Uzzi hijo de Bani, hijo de Hasabías, hijo de Mattanías, hijo de Michâ de los cantores los hijos de Asaph, sobre la obra de la casa de Dios.

And the overseer of the Levites at Jerusalem was 'Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Chashabyah, the son of Matthanyah, the son of Micha, one of the sons of Assaph, the singers, over the business of the house of God.

23 Porque había mandamiento del rey acerca de ellos, y determinación acerca de los cantores para cada día.

For the king's command was obligatory on them; and there was a fixed rate for the singers, the requirement of every day on its day.

24 Y Pethahías hijo de Mesezabel, de los hijos de Zerah hijo de Judá, estaba á la mano del rey en todo negocio del pueblo.

And Pethachyah the son of Meshezabel, of the children of Zerach the son of Judah, was at the king's hand in every thing concerning the people.

25 Y tocante á las aldeas y sus tierras, algunos de los hijos de Judá habitaron en Chîriat-arba y sus aldeas, y en Dibón y sus aldeas, y en Jecabseel y sus aldeas;

And respecting the villages with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt at Kiryath-arba' and in its villages, and at Dibon and in its villages, and at Jekabzeel and in its villages.

26 Y en Jesuá, Moladah, y en Beth-pelet;

And at Jeshua', and at Moladah, and at Beth-phelet,

27 Y en Hasar-sual, y en Beer-seba, y en sus aldeas;

And at Chazar-shu'al, and at Beer-sheba' and in its villages,

28 Y en Siclag, y en Mechôna, y en sus aldeas;

And at Ziklag, and at Mechonah and in its villages,

29 Y en En-rimmón, y en Soreah y en Jarmuth;

And at 'En-rimmon, and at Zor'ah, and at Yarmuth,

30 Zanoah, Adullam, y en sus aldeas; en Lachîs y sus tierras, Azeca y sus aldeas. Y habitaron desde Beer-seba hasta el valle de Hinnom.

Zanoach, 'Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish and its fields, at 'Azekah and in its villages. And they dwelt from Beer-sheba' as far as the valley of Hinnom.

31 Y los hijos de Benjamín desde Geba [habitaron] en Michmas, y Aía, y en Beth-el y sus aldeas;

And the children of Benjamin [dwelt], beginning from Geba', at Michmash, and 'Ay-ya, and Beth-el, and in their villages,

32 En Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah;

'Anathoth, Nob, 'Ananyah,

33 Hasor, Rama, Gitthaim;

Chazor, Ramah, Gittayim.

34 Hadid, Seboim, Neballath;

Chadid, Zebo'im, Neballat,

35 Lod, y Ono, valle de los artífices.

Lod, and Ono, the valley of the carpenters.

36 Y algunos de los Levitas, en los repartimientos de Judá y de Benjamín.

And of the Levites dwelt certain divisions in Judah, and in Benjamin.
