Isaías 62
1 POR amor de Sión no callaré, y por amor de Jerusalem no he de parar, hasta que salga como resplandor su justicia, y su salud se encienda como una antorcha.
For Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking]’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem [City of peace]’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness shines out like the dawn, and her yishu'ah ·salvation· like a blazing torch.
2 Entonces verán las gentes tu justicia, y todos los reyes tu gloria; y te será puesto un nombre nuevo, que la boca de Jehová nombrará.
The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your kavod ·weighty glory·, and you will be called by a new name, which Adonai’s mouth will name.
3 Y serás corona de gloria en la mano de Jehová, y diadema de reino en la mano del Dios tuyo.
You will also be a crown of beauty in Adonai’s hand, and a royal diadem ·crown· in your God’s hand.
4 Nunca más te llamarán Desamparada, ni tu tierra se dirá más Asolamiento; sino que serás llamada Hephzibah, y tu tierra, Beulah; porque el amor de Jehová [será] en ti, y tu tierra será casada.
You will not be called Forsaken any more; nor will your land be called Desolate any more: but you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for Adonai delights in you, and your land will be married.
5 Pues como el mancebo se casa con la virgen, se casarán contigo tus hijos; y como el gozo del esposo con la esposa, así se gozará contigo el Dios tuyo.
For as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons will marry you. As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you.
6 Sobre tus muros, oh Jerusalem, he puesto guardas; todo el día y toda la noche no callarán jamás. Los que os acordáis de Jehová, no ceséis,
I have set watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem [City of peace]. They will never be silent day nor night. You who call on Adonai, take no rest,
7 Ni le deis tregua, hasta que confirme, y hasta que ponga á Jerusalem en alabanza en la tierra.
and give him no rest, until he establishes, and until he makes Jerusalem [City of peace] a tehilah ·praise song· in the earth.
8 Juró Jehová por su mano derecha, y por el brazo de su fortaleza: Que jamás daré tu trigo por comida á tus enemigos, ni beberán los extraños el vino que tú trabajaste:
Adonai has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, “Surely I will no more give your grain to be food for your enemies; and foreigners will not drink your new wine, for which you have labored;
9 Mas los que lo allegaron lo comerán, y alabarán á Jehová; y los que lo cogieron, lo beberán en los atrios de mi santuario.
but those who have harvested it will eat it, and praise Adonai; and those who have gathered it will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.”
10 Pasad, pasad por las puertas; barred el camino al pueblo; allanad, allanad la calzada, quitad las piedras, alzad pendón á los pueblos.
Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way of the people! Build up, build up the highway! Gather out the stones! Lift up a banner for the peoples.
11 He aquí que Jehová hizo oir hasta lo último de la tierra: Decid á la hija de Sión: He aquí viene tu Salvador; he aquí su recompensa con él, y delante de él su obra.
Behold, Adonai has sh'ma ·hear obey, proclaimed· unto the end of the earth, “Say to the daughter of Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking], ‘Behold, your yesha' ·salvation· comes. Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.’”
12 Y llamarles han Pueblo Santo, Redimidos de Jehová; y á ti te llamarán Ciudad Buscada, no desamparada.
They will call them The holy people, Adonai’s redeemed. You will be called Sought out, A city not forsaken.
