Génesis 15
1 DESPUÉS de estas cosas fué la palabra de Jehová á Abram en visión, diciendo: No temas, Abram; yo soy tu escudo, [y] tu galardón sobremanera grande.
After - the things these it came [the] word of Yahweh to Abram in the vision saying may not you fear O Abram I [am] a shield of you reward your [will be] great very.
2 Y respondió Abram: Señor Jehová ¿qué me has de dar, siendo así que ando sin hijo, y el mayordomo de mi casa es ese Damasceno Eliezer?
And he said Abram O Lord Yahweh what? will you give to me and I [am] going childless and [the] son of [the] acquisition of household my he [is] Damascus Eliezer.
3 Dijo más Abram: Mira que no me has dado prole, y he aquí que es mi heredero uno nacido en mi casa.
And he said Abram here! to me not you have given offspring and there! [the] son of household my [is] inheriting me.
4 Y luego la palabra de Jehová fué á él diciendo: No te heredará éste, sino el que saldrá de tus entrañas será el que te herede.
And there! [the] word of Yahweh [was] to him saying not he will inherit you this [one] that except [one] who he will come out from inward parts your he he will inherit you.
5 Y sacóle fuera, y dijo: Mira ahora á los cielos, y cuenta las estrellas, si las puedes contar. Y le dijo: Así será tu simiente.
And he brought out him the outside towards and he said look please the heavens towards and count the stars if you are able to count them and he said to him thus it will be offspring your.
6 Y creyó á Jehová, y contóselo por justicia.
And he believed in Yahweh and he credited it to him righteousness.
7 Y díjole: Yo soy Jehová, que te saqué de Ur de los Caldeos, para darte á heredar esta tierra.
And he said to him I [am] Yahweh who I brought out you from Ur of [the] Chaldeans to give to you the land this to take possession of it.
8 Y él respondió: Señor Jehová, ¿en qué conoceré que la tengo de heredar?
And he said O Lord Yahweh how? will I know that I will take possession of it.
9 Y le dijo: Apártame una becerra de tres años, y una cabra de tres años, y un carnero de tres años, una tórtola también, y un palomino.
And he said to him bring! to me a heifer three years old and a goat three years old and a ram three years old and a turtle-dove and a young pigeon.
10 Y tomó él todas estas cosas, y partiólas por la mitad, y puso cada mitad una enfrente de otra; mas no partió las aves.
And he brought to him all these and he cut in pieces them in the middle and he set each piece its to meet neighbor its and the bird[s] not he cut in two.
11 Y descendían aves sobre los cuerpos muertos, y ojeábalas Abram.
And it came down the bird[s] of prey on the carcasses and he drove away them Abram.
12 Mas á la caída del sol sobrecogió el sueño á Abram, y he aquí que el pavor de una grande obscuridad cayó sobre él.
And it was the sun [about] to go and a deep sleep it fell on Abram and there! dread darkness great [was] falling on him.
13 Entonces dijo á Abram: Ten por cierto que tu simiente será peregrina en tierra no suya, y servirá á los [de allí], y serán [por ellos] afligidos cuatrocientos años.
And he said to Abram certainly you will know that a sojourner - it will be offspring your in a land [which] not [belongs] to them and they will serve them and they will afflict them four hundred year[s].
14 Mas también á la gente á quien servirán, juzgaré yo; y después de esto saldrán con grande riqueza.
And also the nation which they will serve [will be] judging I and after thus they will come out with possession[s] great.
15 Y tú vendrás á tus padres en paz, y serás sepultado en buena vejez.
And you you will go to ancestors your in peace you will be buried in old age good.
16 Y en la cuarta generación volverán acá: porque aun no está cumplida la maldad del Amorrheo hasta aquí.
And [the] generation fourth they will return hither for not [is] complete [the] iniquity of the Amorite[s] until now.
17 Y sucedió que puesto el sol, y ya obscurecido, dejóse ver un horno humeando, y una antorcha de fuego que pasó por entre los animales divididos.
And it was the sun it had gone and darkness it was and there! a fire pot of smoke and a torch of fire which it passed between the pieces these.
18 En aquel día hizo Jehová un pacto con Abram diciendo: A tu simiente daré esta tierra desde el río de Egipto hasta el río grande, el río Eufrates;
On the day that he made Yahweh with Abram a covenant saying to offspring your I give the land this from [the] river of Egypt to the river great [the] river of Euphrates.
19 Los Cineos, y los Ceneceos, y los Cedmoneos,
The Kenite[s] and the Kenizzite[s] and the Kadmonite[s].
20 Y los Hetheos, y los Pherezeos, y los Raphaitas,
And the Hittite[s] and the Perizzite[s] and the Rephaites.
21 Y los Amorrheos, y los Cananeos, y los Gergeseos, y los Jebuseos.
And the Amorite[s] and the Canaanite[s] and the Girgashite[s] and the Jebusite[s].
