1 Crónicas 13
1 ENTONCES David tomó consejo con los capitanes de millares y de cientos, y con todos los jefes.
And he consulted David with [the] commanders of the thousands and the hundreds to every leader.
2 Y dijo David á todo el congreso de Israel: Si os parece bien y de Jehová nuestro Dios, enviaremos á todas partes [á llamar] nuestros hermanos que han quedado en todas las tierras de Israel, y á los sacerdotes y Levitas [que están] con ellos en sus ciudades y ejidos que se junten con nosotros;
And he said David to all - [the] assembly of Israel if [is] on you good and from Yahweh God our let us spread out let us send to countrymen our who remain in all [the] lands of Israel and with them the priests and the Levites in [the] cities of pasture lands their so they may gather together to us.
3 Y traigamos el arca de nuestro Dios á nosotros, porque desde el tiempo de Saúl no hemos hecho caso de ella.
And let us bring round [the] ark of God our to us for not we sought it in [the] days of Saul.
4 Y dijo todo el congreso que se hiciese así, porque la cosa parecía bien á todo el pueblo.
And they said all the assembly to do thus for it was pleasing the matter in [the] eyes of all the people.
5 Entonces juntó David á todo Israel, desde Sihor de Egipto hasta entrar en Hamath, para que trajesen el arca de Dios de Chîriath-jearim.
And he called together David all Israel from Shihor of Egypt and to Lebo Hamath to bring [the] ark of God from Kiriath Jearim.
6 Y subió David con todo Israel á Baala de Chîriath-jearim, que es en Judá, para pasar de allí el arca de Jehová Dios que habita entre los querubines, sobre la cual su nombre es invocado.
And he went up David and all Israel Baalah towards to Kiriath Jearim which [belongs] to Judah to bring up from there [the] ark of God - Yahweh [who] sits the cherubim where it is called a name.
7 Y lleváronse el arca de Dios de la casa de Abinadab en un carro nuevo; y Uzza y su hermano guiaban el carro.
And they made to ride [the] ark of God on a cart new from [the] house of Abinadab and Uzzah and Ahio [were] leading the cart.
8 Y David y todo Israel hacían alegrías delante de Dios con todas sus fuerzas, con canciones, arpas, salterios, tamboriles, címbalos y trompetas.
And David and all Israel [were] making merry before God with all strength and with songs and with harps and with lyres and with tambourines and with cymbals and with trumpets.
9 Y como llegaron á la era de Chidón, Uzza extendió su mano al arca para tenerla, porque los bueyes se desmandaban.
And they came to [the] threshing floor of Kidon and he stretched out Uzzah hand his to grasp the ark for they stumbled the ox[en].
10 Y el furor de Jehová se encendió contra Uzza, é hiriólo, porque había extendido su mano al arca: y murió allí delante de Dios.
And it burned [the] anger of Yahweh on Uzzah and he struck down him on that he had stretched out hand his on the ark and he died there before God.
11 Y David tuvo pesar, porque Jehová había hecho rotura en Uzza; por lo que llamó aquel lugar Pérez-uzza, hasta hoy.
And it burned to David for he had broken out Yahweh a breaking out against Uzzah and he called the place that Perez Uzzah until the day this.
12 Y David temió á Dios aquel día, y dijo: ¿Cómo he de traer á mi casa el arca de Dios?
And he feared David God on the day that saying how? will I bring to myself [the] ark of God.
13 Y no trajo David el arca á su casa en la ciudad de David, sino llevóla á casa de Obed-edom Getheo.
And not he turned aside David the ark to himself to [the] city of David and he turned aside it to [the] house of Obed-Edom the Gittite.
14 Y el arca de Dios estuvo en casa de Obed-edom, en su casa, tres meses: y bendijo Jehová la casa de Obed-edom, y todas las cosas que tenía.
And it remained [the] ark of God with [the] household of Obed-Edom in house his three months and he blessed Yahweh [the] household of Obed-Edom and all that [belonged] to him.
