The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6 Los hijos de Gomer: Askenaz, Riphath, y Thogorma.
— And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.
7 Los hijos de Javán: Elisa, Tharsis, Chîthim, y Dodanim.
And the sons of Javan: Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Rodanim.
8 Los hijos de Châm: Chûs, Misraim, Phuth, y Canaán.
The sons of Ham: Cush and Mizraim, Phut and Canaan.
9 Los hijos de Chûs: Seba, Havila, Sabtha, Raema, y Sabtechâ. Y los hijos de Raema: Seba y Dedán.
— And the sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
10 Chûs engendró á Nimrod: éste comenzó á ser poderoso en la tierra.
And Cush begot Nimrod: he began to be mighty on the earth.
11 Misram engendró á Ludim, Ananim, Laabim, Nephtuim,
— And Mizraim begot the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,
12 Phetrusim y Casluim: de éstos salieron los Filisteos, y los Caphtoreos.
and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim out of whom came the Philistines, and the Caphtorim.
13 Canaán engendró á Sidón, su primogénito;
— And Canaan begot Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,
14 Y al Hetheo, y al Jebuseo, y al Amorrheo, y al Gergeseo;
and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15 Y al Heveo, y al Araceo, y al Sineo;
and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
16 Al Aradeo, y al Samareo, y al Hamatheo.
and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 Los hijos de Sem: Elam, Assur, Arphaxad, Lud, Aram, Hus, Hul, Gether, y Mesec.
The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18 Arphaxad engendró á Sela, y Sela engendró á Heber.
— And Arphaxad begot Shelah, and Shelah begot Eber.
19 Y á Heber nacieron dos hijos: el nombre del uno fué Peleg, por cuanto en sus días fué dividida la tierra; y el nombre de su hermano fué Joctán.
And to Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
20 Y Joctán engendró á Elmodad, Seleph, Asarmaveth, y Jera,
And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
21 A Adoram también, á Uzal, Dicla,
and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
22 Hebal, Abimael, Seba,
and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 Ophir, Havila, y Jobab: todos hijos de Joctán.
and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were sons of Joktan.
24 Sem, Arphaxad, Sela,
Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,
25 Heber, Peleg, Reu,
Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26 Serug, Nachôr, Thare,
Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27 Y Abram, el cual es Abraham.
Abram: the same is Abraham.
28 Los hijos de Abraham: Isaac é Ismael.
The sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.
29 Y estas son sus descendencias: el primogénito de Ismael, Nabajoth; después Cedar, Adbeel, Misam,
These are their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam;
30 Misma, Duma, Maasa, Hadad, Thema, Jetur, Naphis, y Cedma. Estos son los hijos de Ismael.
Mishma and Dumah; Massa, Hadad, and Tema;
31 Y Cethura, concubina de Abraham, parió á Zimram, Jocsán, Medán, Madián, Isbac, y á Súa.
Jetur, Naphish, and Kedmah: those are the sons of Ishmael.
32 Los hijos de Jobsán: Seba y Dedán.
— And the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.
33 Los hijos de Madián: Epha, Epher, Henoch, Abida, y Eldaa; todos estos fueron hijos de Cethura.
And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Enoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were sons of Keturah.
34 Y Abraham engendró á Isaac: y los hijos de Isaac [fueron] Esaú é Israel.
And Abraham begot Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.
35 Los hijos de Esaú: Eliphas, Rehuel, Jeus, Jalam, y Cora.
The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
36 Los hijos de Eliphas: Themán, Omar, Sephi, Hatham, Chênas, Timna, y Amalec.
— The sons of Eliphaz: Teman and Omar, Zephi and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 Los hijos de Rehuel: Nahath, Zera, Samma, y Mizza.
The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38 Los hijos de Seir: Lotán, Sobal, Sibeón, Ana, Disón, Eser, y Disán.
And the sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 Los hijos de Lotán: Hori, y Homam: y Timna fué hermana de Lotán.
— And the sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam. And Lotan's sister, Timna.
40 Los hijos de Sobal: Alian, Manahach, Ebal, Sephi y Oman. Los hijos de Sibehom: Aia y Ana.
— The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi and Onam. — And the sons of Zibeon: Ajah and Anah.
41 Disón fué hijo de Ana: y los hijos de Disón; Hamrán, Hesbán, Ithran y Chêrán.
— The sons of Anah: Dishon. — And the sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Eshban, and Jithran, and Cheran.
42 Los hijos de Eser: Bilham, Zaaván, y Jaacán. Los hijos de Disán: Hus y Arán.
— The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, [and] Jaakan. — The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
43 Y estos son los reyes que reinaron en la tierra de Edom, antes que reinase rey sobre los hijos de Israel: Belah, hijo de Beor; y el nombre de su ciudad fué Dinaba.
And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before there reigned a king over the children of Israel: — Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44 Y muerto Belah, reinó en su lugar Jobab hijo de Zera, de Bosra.
And Bela died; and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
45 Y muerto Jobab, reinó en su lugar Husam, de la tierra de los Themanos.
And Jobab died; and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46 Muerto Husam, reinó en su lugar Adad hijo de Bedad, el cual hirió á Madián en la campaña de Moab: y el nombre de su ciudad fué Avith.
And Husham died; and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the fields of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.
47 Muerto Adad, reinó en su lugar Samla, de Masreca.
And Hadad died; and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
48 Muerto también Samla, reinó en su lugar Saúl de Rehoboth, que está junto al río.
And Samlah died; and Saul of Rehoboth on the river reigned in his stead.
49 Y muerto Saúl, reinó en su lugar Baal-hanán hijo de Achbor.
And Saul died; and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50 Y muerto Baal-hanán, reinó en su lugar Adad, el nombre de cuya ciudad fué Pai; y el nombre de su mujer Meetabel, hija de Matred, y ésta de Mezaab.
And Baal-hanan died; and Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, daughter of Mezahab.
51 Muerto Adad, sucedieron los duques en Edom: el duque Timna, el duque Alia, el duque Jetheth,
And Hadad died. And the chiefs of Edom were: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,
52 El duque Oholibama, el duque Ela, el duque Phinón,
chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
53 El duque Chênaz, el duque Themán, el duque Mibzar,
chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,
54 El duque Magdiel, el duque Iram. Estos fueron los duques de Edom.
chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.
